Title of diploma thesis: The hypothalamic - pituitary - gonadal axis and epilepsy: mutual relationships The content of the diploma thesis is an overview of the anatomy and physiology of the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis (HHG). Further chapters are devoted to the influence of epilepsy on HHG function, the effect of HHG hormones on epileptic activity itself. The effect of anti-epileptics on HHG functions will also be elucidated. The second part of the diploma thesis deals with separate chapters - catamenial epilepsy and epilepsy during pregnancy. Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is characterized by accumulation of lipids in hepatocytes, which accounts for at least 5% of the weight of this tissue. It affects patients in different age groups; these tend to present hepatic alterations characterized not only by the accumulation of fat but, in some cases, also by the presence of inflammation and fibrosis, even evolving to cirrhosis. It is considered the hepatic component of Metabolic Syndrome (MS) and this, in turn, is also an inducer of NAFLD. The present study proposes to evaluate the degree of steatosis in patients with NAFLD and their relationship with cardiovascular risk, the prevalence of OSAS and quality of life. This is a cross-sectional study, where 173 patients were interviewed at the outpatient clinic. Hepatology, which is a reference service of the State, University Hospital of the Federal University of Sergipe. Socio-demographic data and anthropometric measurements, results of biochemical laboratory tests and image of medical records were collected, and these patients were submitted to quality of life (QOL) questionnaires (WHOQOL bref), CVD risk (Framinghan score), individual risk of OSAS (Berlin scale) and bioimpedance test. We obtained as results a prevalence in the low risk population to develop CVD (58.4%), a prevalence of the sample for high risk of OSAS (64%), the QV assessment showed better results in the psychological and social relations domains . We conclude that there is an association between the degree of NAFLD and the evolution of OSA in the patients studied. There was no association with the increase in the risk of CVD, and when we assessed the association with the QOL, there was no significant difference between the total score quality of life in patients with mild steatosis for individuals who presented them in marked form. Thus, we emphasize the importance of the global evaluation of these patients, from the beginning of the detection of NAFLD. / A Doença Hepática Gordurosa Não Alcoólica (DHGNA) é caracterizada por acúmulo de lipídios em hepatócitos, que representa, ao menos, 5% do peso deste tecido. Acomete pacientes em diferentes faixas etárias; estes tendem a apresentar alterações hepáticas caracterizadas não apenas pelo acúmulo de gordura, mas, em alguns casos, também pela presença de inflamação e fibrose, inclusive evoluindo para cirrose. É considerada o componente hepático da Síndrome Metabólica (SM) e esta, por sua vez, também um indutor da DHGNA. O presente estudo propõe avaliar o grau de esteatose em pacientes com DHGNA e a relação destes com o risco cardiovascular, a prevalência de SAOS e a qualidade de vida. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, onde foram entrevistados 173 pacientes atendidos no ambulatório de Hepatologia, um serviço de referência no Estado, do Hospital Universitário da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Foram coletados dados sociodemográficos e medidas antropométricas, resultados de exames laboratoriais bioquímicos e de imagem dos prontuários, e estes pacientes foram submetidos a questionários de qualidade de vida (QV) (WHOQOL bref), risco de doenças cardiovasculares (DCV’s) (Escore de Framinghan), a avaliação do risco individual de Síndrome da Apneia Obstrutiva do Sono (SAOS) (Escala de Berlim) e ao teste de bioimpedância. Obtivemos como resultados uma prevalência na população estudada de baixo risco para desenvolver DCV’s (58,4%), houve uma prevalência da amostra para alto risco de SAOS (64%), a avaliação da QV demonstrou melhores resultados nos domínios psicológicos e das relações sociais. Concluímos que há uma associação do grau de DHGNA com a evolução do SAOS nos pacientes estudados, não havendo a mesma associação em relação ao aumento do risco de DCV’s e quando avaliamos a associação com a QV não observou-se diferença significativa entre o escore total de qualidade de vida em pacientes com esteatose leve para os indivíduos que as apresentavam na forma acentuada. This diploma thesis deals with the number line as a tool to improve pupil's understanding of various mathematical concepts, structures, properties and algorithms. The aim of the thesis is to determine how are lower secondary pupils able to use the number line and to connect findings with the content of their textbooks. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces the topic of number line, deals with the problems used for testing in the Czech Republic and presents several researches on this topic. The theoretical part, together with the analysis of current state of the number line usage in teaching, serves as a basis for an experimental investigation that is covered in the practical part. After a pilot testing with 19 pupils, the main testing was conducted in 7 classes of two Prague primary schools. The total of 156 pupils participated in the main testing and 8 of the pupils were later interviewed about their tests. The results are presented in the practical part. It turned out that there is a correspondence between textbook content and pupils' errors while working with number line and that pupils struggle with representing of fractions on the number line. This Master's thesis entitled Author rights protection organizations in the Czech Republic - their activities and presentation focuses on the area of copyright protection, especially in the field of musical work. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of the current situation of collective societies operating in the Czech Republic and to compare them in selected areas of activity. The aim of the work is also to evaluate the practical functioning of the collective societies and explain some myths that are routed by the general public about the collective administration. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the definition of basic concepts, as the basis for other chapters dealing with specific collective societies, namely OSA, INTERGRAM and DILIA. This part of the thesis is based on annual reports analysis of these organizations, as well as personal interviews and written communication with these institutions' representatives. This master thesis is particularly helpful as a summary and evaluation of collective organizations' activities that are part of the culture and therefore have a significant impact on the level of Czech and other cultures.

The aim of this master thesis is the construction of a single-purpose machine used for reeling of composite insulator. In the first part is described the technology of reeling completed by the analysis of used components. Based on the findings, the final constructional version with necessary calculations is stated. The result of this thesis is a 3D model of the chosen design together with drawings and calculations of given parts.

The thesis deals with the design of a robotic workplace for the operation of injection moulding machines. It is concerned with the design of the workplace component deployment and the evaluation of the best variant using a multi-criteria assessment. In detail, attention is paid to the end effectors of industrial robots and the assembly workplace, where finishing operations take place. Finally, the risk analysis and technical and economic evaluation of the proposed workplace are carried out.

The aim of the thesis was to study the Energy Models of Linear Axes with Ball Screws and Servo Drives, to analyze the individual parts of the axis with respect to losses, the methodology of calculating the losses on the electrical part and the mechanical part of the drive and creating a complex algorithm that calculates the energy consumed for the specified motion. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part, where the theoretical part is divided into the treatise on the electrical part of the axis and its losses and the part that deals with the mechanical part and its losses. The calculation is divided into the basic verification algorithm and the calculation on the given example. Each calculation is calculated for both linear acceleration and S-curve acceleration. For both types of acceleration, the result of energy and its course over time is also the waveforms of position, velocity, acceleration, angular acceleration, moments, powers, power, speed and currents over time.

This diploma thesis deals with the construction of an NC rotary table with a linear axis. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of science and technology in the problem, the use of various drives, mechanisms for torque transmission, linear feed lines, measuring and an overview of tables from various manufacturers. Furthermore, the work is devoted to the creation of 4 variants of construction, then the selection of the best variant and technical calculations. At the end, the work deals with a detailed description of the machine.

The subject of this thesis is design of feed box for axis x of portal milling machine center FRP 300 from production of TOS Kuřim-OS, a.s. Thesis contains recherche in application field of rack and pinion drives for machine tools feed mechanisms, possible design solutions of given task and elaborate of the most appropriate solution. Thesis further includes calculations, 3D model and drawings of selected parts.

Es wird über die Entwicklung und Erprobung von Instrumenten zur Messung von Ingenieurskreativität und Fachinteresse am Studium der Elektrotechnik berichtet. Im Fall des Fachinteresses wird ein Algorithmus vorgeschlagen um effizient Skalen maßzuschneidern. Für spezifische Kreativität werden die Schwierigkeiten der Erfassung diskutiert und erste Möglichkeit der Lösung dieser Probleme diskutiert. / The development and testing of two scales measuring creativity in engineering and vocational interest is reported. Concerning the scale of vocational interest an algorithm for the efficient tailoring of such scales is proposed. In case of specific creativity the difficulties of the measurement are discussed and first solutions developed.
