Abstrakt Män drabbas likt kvinnor av stressrelaterad psykisk ohälsa, därför finns det behov av fungerande interventioner för denna grupp. Det finns dock begränsad forskning på män med dessa besvär. Det finns även begränsade studier som beskriver arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av att tillämpa ReDO- programmet samt deras uppfattningar om mäns deltagande i programmet.  Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva arbetsterapeuters erfarenheter av att tillämpa ReDO-programmet samt deras uppfattningar om mäns deltagande i programmet. Metod: En kvalitativ intervjustudie genomfördes med semistrukturerade intervjuer. Informanterna bestod av tio arbetsterapeuter som främst arbetar med ReDO- programmet i primärvården. Bekvämlighetsval och snöbollsval tillämpades. Resultat: Resultaten visade tre kategorier: ReDO- programmets struktur och innehåll, Män som deltagare i ReDO- grupper och ReDO- programmets resultat. Arbetsterapeuterna upplever att ReDO-metoden fungerar bra för män. Kursens innehåll och upplägg behöver inte anpassas till mäns behov utan förändringar behöver göras på grund av rollfördelningen i det moderna samhället. Slutsats: Arbetsterapeuterna upplever att ReDO-metoden fungerar bra för män, men att det är skillnad mellan individer i hur programmet fungerar. / Abstract Like women, men suffer from stress-related mental illness, so there is a need for effective interventions for this group. However, there is limited research on men with these disorders. There are also limited studies that describe occupational therapists' experiences of applying the ReDO- program and their perceptions of men's participation in the program. Aim: The aim was to describe occupational therapists' experiences of applying the ReDO program and their perceptions of men's participation in the program. Method: A qualitative interview study was conducted with semi-structured interviews. The informants consisted of ten occupational therapists who work mainly with the ReDO program in primary care. Convenience sampling and snowball sampling were applied. Results: The results showed three categories: the structure and content of the ReDO- program, Men as participants in ReDO- groups and the results of the ReDO- program. The occupational therapists feel that the ReDO- method works well for men. The content and structure of the course do not need to be adapted to men's needs, but changes need to be made due to the division of roles in modern society. Conclusion: The occupational therapists experienced that the ReDO method works well for men, but that there is a difference between individuals in how the program works.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att sammanställa arbetsterapeutiska interventioner och deras effekter för att förebygga återinskrivning på sjukhus. Metod: Författarna gjorde en litteraturöversikt av kvantitativ metod och granskade tio studier hämtade från databaserna Pubmed och Cinahl. Data analyserades och sammanställdes i fyra underrubriker baserade på Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM) interventionsmodeller; kompensatorisk modell, modell för aktivitetsträning, modell för förbättring av kroppsfunktioner och personfaktorer samt pedagogisk modell. Resultat: Resultatet visade att arbetsterapeutiska interventioner har effekt vad gäller att förebygga återinskrivning på sjukhus hos varierade patient- och åldersgrupper. De olika interventionerna baserade på OTIPMs interventionsmodeller hade varierade grader av bevisvärde, vissa hade statistisk signifikanta resultat medan andra hade liten till stor effekt utan statistisk signifikans. Modell för aktivitetsträning var en av de mest vanligt förekommande, interventionerna var även de med högst andel statistiskt signifikanta resultat. I samband med utredning och utförande av de varierade interventionerna i olika kombinationer var det vanligt förekommande att arbetsterapeuten gjorde ett hembesök i klientens ordinära boende, interventionerna utfördes då i klientens kända omgivande miljö och aktivitetskontext. Slutsats: Slutsatsen är att arbetsterapeutiska interventioner har varierad effekt vad gäller att förebygga återinskrivning på sjukhus. Att ta hänsyn till klientens aktivitetskontext genom att utföra interventioner i klientens hemmiljö har effekt på resultatet. Ofta utförs fler interventioner från olika interventionsmodeller samtidigt och det är då den sammantagna effekten studerats. Fortsatt forskning behöver fastställa vilken grad av effekt varje enskild arbetsterapeutisk intervention har för att stötta arbetsterapeuten i val av interventionsmodeller till varje enskild klient för att förebygga återinskrivning på sjukhus. / Aim: The aim of the study was to compile occupational therapy interventions and their effects to prevent readmissions to hospitals.  Method: The authors chose a literature review based on a quantitative methodology and reviewed 10 articles retrieved from the databases Pubmed and Cinahl. The data was analyzed and compiled into four subcategories based on the intervention models from the Occupational Therapy Intervention Process Model (OTIPM): compensatory model, acquisitional model for occupational skills training, restorative model for enhancing body functions and other client elements and educational and teaching model.  Result: The result showed that occupational therapy interventions have an effect as regards to reducing the risk of readmission to hospitals for different age and patient groups. The interventions based on different intervention models had several degrees of evidence. Some were statistically significant, while others had between low and high effects without statistical significance. The intervention model acquisitional model for occupational skills training was one of the most common, along with it being the model with the highest proportion of statistically significant result. It was common that the occupational therapist during the evaluation and intervention phase made a home visit to the client with intentions to perform various interventions in several combinations in their home environment and occupational context.  Conclusion: The conclusion is that occupational therapy interventions have a variation of positive effects in terms of reducing the risk of readmission to hospitals and that taking considerations to the client’s occupational context by doing home visits have an effect on the result. Frequently, multiple interventions from different intervention models are integrated and that is the combined effect that is studied. Future research is needed to determine the effect of each occupational therapeutic intervention, and how it can guide occupational therapists in their choice of intervention models to prevent readmission to hospitals for their clients.
