Specifics of Economic Development in Modern Russia / Specifics of Economic Development in Modern Russia

Glebova, Margarita January 2014 (has links)
This master thesis is dedicated to Russian development and determinants of its growth. Just two decades ago Russia experienced a total change in the political and economic structure of the country. USSR fall, together will all its successes and failures. Russia went to the path of building a market economy, while the rest of the developed world was already living in such economy and using its benefits. With the heritage of the USSR, Russia had a huge potential to be successful in that road. The goal of this work is to answer the question, whether or not we were able to use it. In order to answer this question two-stage analysis was performed, combining theoretical and quantitative parts. Theoretical part contains the overall analysis of the areas of economic and social development. Quantitative part contains analysis of the main GDP drivers and endogenous powers of industrial production. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

No. of bitstreams: 1 MariaCRO_DISSERT.pdf: 2657350 bytes, checksum: 6329dc6423194c512c4121d699e43fa5 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-07-26 / This work proposes the development of an innovative material made from a vegetable polyurethane matrix and load of industrial waste, from retread tires, for thermal insulation and environmental comfort. Experimental procedures are presented, as well as the results of the thermal and acoustic performance of this composite material, made from an expansive foam derived from the castor seed oil and fiber of scrap tires. The residue was treated superficially with sodium hydroxide, to eliminate contaminants, and characterized macroscopically and microscopically. Samples were produced with addition of residues at levels of 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% by weight, for determination of thermal properties: conductivity, heat capacity and thermal diffusivity, sound absortion index and density. The results were compared to commercially available thermal insulation and sound absorbing products. According to the analysis of results, it was concluded that the developed composite presents characteristics that qualify it as a thermal insulation with superior performance, compared to commercial available insulation, and sound absorption capacity greater than the castor oil polyurethane s, without addition of the residue / Neste trabalho tratou-se do desenvolvimento de um material inovador constitu?do de matriz poliuret?nica vegetal e carga de res?duo industrial, proveniente de recauchutagem de pneus, para fins de isola??o t?rmica e conforto ambiental.

Freitas, Elizabeth Garcia de 18 February 2011 (has links)
Made available in DSpace on 2016-06-02T19:51:49Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 3626.pdf: 4001884 bytes, checksum: 954ad4ee82dc23ace83d0dff7e127423 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2011-02-18 / Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos / This dissertation has been realized in a chemistry analysis laboratory inside a Brazilian oil refinery. From the initial demand to project and build a new laboratory in a specific refinery, in order to attend the current work and the future work load increase, a key question was raised, the necessity to understand the laboratory work reality face the prescribed work. This case study has analyzed the labor in many subunits, or, Production Centers of the studied laboratory according to the Ergonomics Analysis of Work approach. It dares the necessity to understand the work organization, positioning the activity as central to the analysis, and unfold issues such the human relations at work. After doing the observations, transcriptions, analyses and auto-confrontation it was realized that, although the procedures prescription has been prescribed by the workers themselves, it was relatively simple and did not take into account the variety of activities. Therefore the workers resort of many means that were learned, created or incorporated to execute the tasks. These information, variability and situations are managed by the worker´s competencies, and are highlighted through specific skills, from previous and acquired knowledge, and from past experience. Due the competency to deal with work in this environment, it may be said that the workers adopt individual and collective strategies to manage the work, overcome the variability and the existing risks in order to produce reliable certifications ensuring health and productivity.
