O trabalho que se segue pretende debater uma área determinada da cidade, a região norte do município de São Paulo, a partir de dois arcabouços conceituais diversos e complementares: da forma ou morfologia urbana, e o sistema de espaços livres. Dando ênfase à compreensão de uma realidade material, a cidade, a partir de sua observação, montou-se um percurso que partiu dos conceitos básicos desses dois campos disciplinares. Em seguida, fez-se uma aproximação à cidade contemporânea, focando as últimas duas décadas no Brasil e no mundo, de forma a permitir a apreensão dos fenômenos que constituem a área de estudo. Após essa preparação, desenvolve-se um estudo de caso, dividido em três partes: o Casario, compreendendo os tecidos urbanos que configuram a região; os tipos edificados, olhando para as formas mais comuns de edificação; e o sistema de espaços livres, mostrando as características dos espaços livres. Finalmente, são lançados algumas hipóteses interpretativas sobre os fenômenos que permitem a constituição das periferias urbanos, sobretudo em seus aspectos morfológicos. / This work intends to debate São Paulo\'s northern area, from two diverse and complementary conceptual frames: the urban form, and the open spaces system. Initially, we summarize the basic concepts of these two disciplinary fields, and after that, we make an approach to the contemporary city, focusing the last two decades in Brazil and the world, in a way to allow the apprehension of the phenomena that constitute the area. After that, we develop the case study, divided in three parts: the Urban Form, understanding the urban fabrics that configure the region; the built typology, looking at the most usual construction forms; and the open spaces system, showing the characteristics of the open spaces. A pesquisa tem como tema o estudo de sistemas de espaços livres e a urbanização contemporânea na região de Limeira, integrante da Região Administrativa de Campinas - SP. Buscam-se respostas sejam no âmbito da classificação e da configuração do território, sejam no estabelecimento de projeto de \"parque regional contemporâneo\" ou, como se propôs chamar \"parque agroambiental\", como forma de afirmação de vínculos intermunicipais. O \"parque agroambiental\" não é uma solução simples, mas uma possibilidade de pensar e agir. Pode-se, através dele, ajustar o foco de leitura da realidade local, buscando-se mecanismos mais coerentes para nela atuar. Diferentemente de outras regiões de importantes recursos naturais, como a região metropolitana de São Paulo, o conceito do parque objetiva trabalhar uma área econômica e socialmente semelhante, onde a fauna e a flora são quase inexistentes, visto terem sido substituídas pela urbanização e pelas áreas destinadas à produção agrícola para o mercado global. O desafio aqui proposto é tornar o parque regional contemporâneo objeto de debate para políticas públicas de atendimento às necessidades sociais e ambientais. Podem ser práticas de lazer, esportes e/ou contemplativas, atividades culturais de identidade regional, de produção agrícola ou florestal, de conservação de ecossistemas, por meio das quais se definem diferentes níveis e escalas de intervenção e de acessibilidade aos lugares. Propõe-se o conceito de \"parque agroambiental\" como instrumento de planejamento regional e ambiental. / This research aims the study of open space systems and contemporary urbanization in Limeira and communities that comprise the Administrative County of Campinas, São Paulo. The analysis demands answers both in territory classification and configuration and the project of the contemporary regional park, or so denominated as \"agro environmental park\", with the purpose of strengthening inter municipal bonds. The agro environment park must not be regarded as a simple solution but a thought process and a way of acting worth pursuing. Moreover, it ought to be possible to focus upon the local reality searching for more adjustable and consistent mechanisms to accomplish this enterprise. Because, unlike other important regions provided with natural resources such as the metropolitan region of São Paulo, the agro enviromental park concept aims at interfering in an area that shares economical and social similarities, where fauna and flora are almost inexistent, since they have been replaced by urbanization and agricultural lands serving the global market. The challenge proposed here is to make the contemporary regional park an object of debate for public policies to address social and environmental needs such as: leisure, sports in general, cultural and folkloric activities, farming or forestry, conservation of the ecosystems, through which different levels or scales of intervention and accessibility to places could be defined. The proposal for the agro environmental park is to accomplish an instrument for regional and environmental planning.

It identifies the structural elements of urban landscape and its respectives Landscape Units. The method is supported on the analysis of municipal propriety spaces, which have formed themselves by division of the soil. It is possible to identify processing and embezzlement levels, on the part of the population, of the main elements that compose the free spaces system. The characterization, hindrance identification and proposed actions to each Landsapce Unit are systematized by synthesis sheets. / O presente trabalho analisa o Sistema de Espa?os Livres P?blicos da cidade de Piracicaba/SP. Considera tanto os aspectos quantitativos quanto os qualitativos por meio da an?lise da distribui??o, articula??o e complementariedade funcional dos Espa?os Livres P?blicos. Apresenta-se o processo socioespacial de sua constituição, baseado em um resgate da evolução de sua forma urbana e dos determinantes físicos, políticos e econômicos que a moldaram. Avalia-se a gestão da paisagem urbana, seus atuais agentes de produção, e a urbanidade do sistema de espaços livres em duas escalas, da mancha urbana e das unidades de paisagem, orientada por quatro aspectos: adequação, centralidade, densidade e conectividade. Observou-se que a qualidade dos espaços livres em muito se difere nas diferentes unidades de paisagem da cidade, seja nos aspectos qualitativos, seja na distribuição, evidenciando uma clara disparidade centro-periferia. Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / This research analyzes the configuration of the Open Spaces System in the urban form of Patos de Minas, one medium-sized city in the state of Minas Gerais. The open space is characterized like everyone open space of edification and is one of the main morphological elements, able to contribute to the conservation and enhancement of the landscape, organize the urban form and confer identity to the cities. The open space is a major characterizer of the different urban landscapes present in the city. Starting from the study of ecological setting, spatial, land ownership and typological of those spaces, sought the understanding that everyone, each one with its characteristics and functions, are interconnected in a systemic way, structuring the environmental function, social, cultural and landscape, present in the urban dynamic. This approach enables elaborate a systemic view of the urban structure, in which it is observed, not just the sets of open spaces, but also their interactions and articulations with the edified, with society, with the physical support and with the urban form. / A pesquisa analisa a configuração do Sistema de Espaços Livres na forma urbana de Patos de Minas, uma cidade de médio porte no interior do estado de Minas Gerais. O espaço livre é caracterizado como todo espaço livre de edificação e é um dos principais elementos morfológicos, capazes de contribuir com a conservação e valorização da paisagem, estruturar a forma urbana e conferir identidade às cidades. O espaço livre é um dos principais caracterizadores das diferentes paisagens urbanas presentes na cidade. A partir do estudo da configuração ecológica, espacial, fundiária e tipológica desses espaços, busca-se o entendimento de que todos, cada um com suas características e funções, estão interligados de maneira sistêmica, estruturando as funções ambientais, sociais, culturais e de paisagem presentes na dinâmica urbana. The study of the open space system is related to the development of the public sphere, which facilitates the integration of citizens and encourages the appropriation of space which we live. Hortol?ndia is a municipality that is part of the Metropolitan Region of Campinas, was emancipated in 1991 and brings some weaknesses to be overcome and the challenge of its population internally enjoying their socioeconomic dynamics. The study covers the period from 1947 to 2010. The method chosen to carry out this work is a survey of the spaces owned by the municipality which is thus formed through the division of land and check how they are structured, their uses and especially if they are free building. Compilations of data from this survey and analysis were presented in data sheets. The management review of the public on these spaces allowed us to observe the good results, conflicts, obstacles and possible guidelines for this system, thus completing the survey. / Este trabalho procurou compreender o Sistema de Espa?os Livres P?blicos no Munic?pio de Hortol?ndia, averiguando a quantidade, a qualidade e a distribui??o dos Espa?os Livres P?blicos ofertados pelo poder p?blico. O estudo do Sistema de Espa?os Livres est? relacionado ao desenvolvimento da esfera p?blica, a qual favorece a integra??o dos cidad?os e fomenta a apropria??o do espa?o que se vive. Hortol?ndia ? um munic?pio que faz parte da Regi?o Metropolitana de Campinas, foi emancipado em 1991 e traz consigo algumas defici?ncias a serem superadas e o desafio de ter sua popula??o usufruindo internamente de sua din?mica socioecon?mica. O estudo abrange o per?odo de 1947 ao ano de 2010. O m?todo escolhido para realiza??o deste trabalho consiste no levantamento dos espa?os de propriedade do munic?pio que assim se constitu?ram atrav?s do parcelamento do solo e na verifica??o de como estes se encontram estruturados, seus usos e principalmente se est?o livres de edifica??o. As compila??es de dados deste levantamento e da an?lise foram apresentadas em fichas t?cnicas. A an?lise de gest?o do poder p?blico sobre estes espa?os permitiu observar os bons resultados, os conflitos, os entraves e as poss?veis diretrizes para este sistema, concluindo assim a pesquisa.

This research investigates the existing conditions of the present urban settings, in particular some city clippings, focusing on urban dynamics found in the open spaces system (SEL), alongside with the process of use and occupation of the urban land and its possible socio environmental impacts. To develop this work clippings were chosen in different contexts of formation of the territory as well as a diverse socioeconomic and cultural reality, each one presenting its own urban growth milestone which characterized by: a) the peripheral zone composed by industries and low-income population; b) by the installation of large scale commercial initiatives and c) housing demand of high standard - Residencial Cosmos/Jardim Florence I, Parque Dom Pedro Shopping e Alphaville I (Rod. Campinas ? Mogi-Mirim) respectively. Using the urban morphology as a reading method of these process and the open spaces system (SEL) as protagonist of analysis, was adopted as a research method a study of the history and urban growth for each crop selected identifying: a) the different agents involved; b) management plans; c) socioeconomic and cultural contexts and d) the functional, aesthetic and environmental aspects of public and private open spaces. As a result it was possible to identify dialectical processes in the formation of the urban landscape identifying in the different morphological types their potential, barriers and conflicts. / O crescimento de Campinas entre o final do s?culo XX e o in?cio do XXI, esteve apoiado na forma??o de tecidos urbanos fragmentados, distantes e mal conectados entre si e da regi?o central. A presente pesquisa investiga as condicionantes existentes dessas atuais configura??es urbanas, em recortes espec?ficos da cidade, tendo como foco as din?micas urbanas encontradas no sistema de espa?os livres (SEL), junto aos processos de uso e ocupa??o do solo urbano e seus poss?veis impactos s?cio ambientais. Para o desenvolvimento desse trabalho foram escolhidos recortes em diferentes contextos de forma??o do territ?rio, de realidades socioecon?micas e culturais diversificadas, apresentando cada um deles o marco de crescimento urbano caracterizado: a) pela periferiza??o de ind?strias e popula??o de baixa renda; b) pela instala??o de empreendimento comercial de grande porte e c) pela demanda habitacional de alto padr?o ? regi?es do Residencial Cosmos/Jardim Florence I, Parque Dom Pedro Shopping e Alphaville I (Rod. Campinas ? Mogi-Mirim) respectivamente. Tendo a morfologia urbana como leitura dos processos e o Sistema de Espa?os Livres como protagonista da an?lise, foi adotado, como m?todo de pesquisa, para cada recorte selecionado um estudo do hist?rico de crescimento urbano, identificando: a) os diferentes agentes envolvidos; b) os planos de gest?o; c) contextos socioecon?micos e culturais e d) os aspectos funcionais, est?ticos e ambientais dos espa?os livres p?blicos e privados. Como resultado foi poss?vel identificar processos dial?ticos na constitui??o da paisagem urbana identificando nos diferentes tipos morfol?gicos suas potencialidades, entraves e conflitos.
