Benjamin Appert fut, sous la Restauration et le règne de Louis-Philippe, un philanthrope suffisamment célèbre pour que Stendhal en fasse un personnage de roman, dans Le Rouge et le Noir. L'écrivain le campe en visiteur de prisons, ce qui effectivement constituait une grande part de ses activités, l'autre concernant l'enseignement mutuel. Depuis, Appert a sombré dans l'oubli. Il n'y a plus guère que les spécialistes de la question pénitentiaire et de l'école pour connaître son existence, et l'on perd sa trace en 1855, date de son départ pour la Grèce.C'est en ce point que nous prenons le relais. Nous lui emboîterons le pas, grâce à l'exceptionnel document que constitue le recueil de notes publié par lui sous le titre : Voyage en Grèce. Qu'allait-il faire en Grèce ? Non seulement visiter les prisons, les écoles, les hôpitaux, les casernes, pour dresser un état des lieux et proposer des réformes, dans le but d'assainir un pays en proie au brigandage, mais surtout réaliser un projet mûri de longue date, la fondation d'une colonie pénitentiaire modèle, qu'il tentera d'implanter à Modon (Méthoni).S'agissait-il d'une utopie ? Telle est la question qui court au long de cette recherche. La réponse dépend évidemment du sens que l'on donne à ce terme. En ce temps des utopies sociales que constitue la première moitié du XIXe siècle, peut-on mettre Benjamin Appert au rang d'un comte de Saint-Simon ou d'un Fourier ? C'est ce que nous étudierons. D'ores et déjà, on peut voir dans son histoire en Grèce un excellent exemple des rencontres qui eurent lieu entre Occident et Orient, toutes chargées de malentendus, de préjugés et d'idéalisme. Exemple que nous pouvons méditer. / Benjamin Appert was a French philanthropist during the Restoration and the reign of Louis-Philippe. He was famous enough for Stendhal to make him a character in his novel Le Rouge et le Noir. The writer describes him as a prison visitor, his principal activity; but he also took an interest in mutual teaching. After this period, he sank into oblivion. The only people who know about him are the specialists of penal and educational issues. His track was lost in 1855 when he left to Greece.At that time, we take over. We will follow him closely, thanks to an exceptional document, the collection of notes he published under the title of Journey in Greece. What did he go to Greece for ? He did not only want to visit prisons, schools, hospitals and barracks, so as to draw up a survey and propose reforms to clean up a country subjected to robbery, but he aimed to achieve a plan he had been nurturing for a long time, the settlement of a model penal colony he tried to establish in Modon (Methoni).Was it a utopia? That is the question which runs all through our research. Of course the answer depends on the meaning of the word. During the first half of the XIXth century, a time brimming with social utopias, could we rank Benjamin Appert on the same level as Saint-Simon or Fourier? That will be our subject. We can already consider his story in Greece as an excellent example of the connections which took place between West and East, heavily loaded with misunderstanding, prejudice and idealism. An example we could meditate over.

Este trabalho tem como objeto a obra do violonista Othon Salleiro (1910-1999). O objetivo desta pesquisa é analisar, recuperar e contextualizar a produção do compositor carioca dentro do panorama do violão popular brasileiro. Através da apreciação de sua obra, da transcrição das gravações disponíveis e da análise comparativa dos violonistas compositores do mesmo período, procuramos traçar a identidade composicional e instrumental de Othon Salleiro. Lembramos que se trata de uma produção exclusivamente para violão solo. Além da catalogação das obras encontradas, a confecção das partituras foi a nossa contribuição para recuperar e divulgar a obra deste importante compositor do cenário do violão popular brasileiro. / This study focuses on the work of guitarist Othon Salleiro (1910- 1999). The purpose of this study is to analyze, recover and provide context for the work produced by the composer from Rio de Janeiro within the scenario of Brazilian popular guitar music. By examining his work, transcribing available recordings and doing a comparative analysis of composer guitarists of the same period we tried to outline the composing and instrumental identity of Othon Salleiro. We remind you that his work is exclusively for solo guitar. In addition to cataloguing the music found, making sheet music was our contribution to recover and make known the work of this important Brazilian popular guitar composer.

Assim, o autor faz uma breve apresentação da rede e da estrutura física e organizacional do hotel onde o estágio ocorreu. Também são caracterizados os conceitos do estágio empregando-os ao curso e ao estágio em recepção hoteleira. A partir da vivência pessoal do autor, foram analisados os elementos práticos do estágio, como o manuseio do programa utilizado pelo hotel e as funções exercidas pelo recepcionista. Após analisar a estrutura teórica e prática chegou-se a conclusão de que o estágio em recepção, além de ser a porta de entrada para o profissional hoteleiro (pela grande oferta de vagas), também é um importante setor que colabora na formação do aluno, uma vez que a recepção é um dos setores que está em constante contato com os demais setores. Dessa forma na formação de futuros gestores, a prática na recepção permite uma visão operacional mais ampla do hotel, como um todo. / This document aims to understand the duties made by the author through the mandatory supervised practice at reception of Savoy Othon Travel (Copacabana - RJ) which is a branch of Othon Hotels chain, from August 2013 to March 2014. Accordingly, the author makes a brief presentation of the hotels chain and the structure of the hotel where the internship was done, reporting the physical and hierarchical structures of the hotel. This document approaches to concepts of internship and how they were employed to the course and to the internship as well. From personal experience of the author, the practical elements of the internship, such as the handling of the program used by the hotel and the duties performed by the receptionist were analyzed. After analyzing the theoretical and practical structure reached the conclusion that the internship in reception, in addition to being the gateway to the hotelier professional into the labor market (by the great number of vacancies), is also an important sector that contributes to formation of the student, since the reception is one of the sectors that are in constant contact with the other sectors. Therefore, in the formation of future managers the practice at reception allows a wider operational view of the hotel as a whole.
