This dissertation deals with the Corporate Social Responsibily and highlights the importace of evaluation of CSR activities. I have chosen T-Mobile Czech Republic a.s. as an example of a socially responsible company. I evaluate one of its CSR activities by LBG methodology. Based on the analysis contained in this dissertation TMCZ can be considered as a socially responsible company. Its CSR activities are not only beneficial for the community, but also for the company itself. The purpose of this disertation is to stimulate creation CSR annual report in TMCZ and point out the importace of close monitoring of supported projects, so that it would be possible to find out the efficiency of invested resources.

The objective of this master´s thesis is an appreciation of financial stability of the company Sladovny Soufflet ČR, a.s. in terms of elementary methods of financial analysis. In connection with incorporation of outputs of financial analysis the proposals for improvements in problematic areas of company´s financial stability are formulated.

The diploma thesis focuses on so-called "experts on education". In simple terms, "experts on education" are speakers who comment on educational issues in the media. However, they are typically not experts on education in the true sense of the word but quasi-experts who have a strong media interest, who are often connected to politics, whose speech is often burdened by simplification or generalisation, and who often emphasise certain beliefs in their communications, which are individually challenged in detail by the diploma thesis. The thesis attempts to answer whether only the aforementioned quasi-experts comment on educational issues in the Czech media environment or whether true experts, meaning scientifically qualified professionals, can also be heard. The aim of the diploma thesis is therefore to identify who comments on educational issues in the Czech media space and to analyse how these speakers talk about education. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and an analytical part. The theoretical part aims to define the basic concepts that are worked with in the thesis - specifically, the concepts of "expert on education" and "pedagogical discourse". Friction Stir Welding (FSW) is an emerging joining technology in which basic process understanding is still inadequate. Knowledge of FSW parameter relationships is needed to better understand the process and implement proper machine control. This study utilized a 3-factor, 3-level factorial design of experiments to investigate relationships between key process inputs and measured output parameters. All experiments utilized 7075-T7 aluminum and a threaded pin tool with a 25.4 mm shoulder diameter, 4.76 mm pin length, and 7.9 mm pin diameter. Spindle speed, feed rate, and tool depth were varied throughout 54 welds while X, Y, and Z forces, X torque, three tool temperatures, and motor power were measured. Empirical models were developed to relate outputs to inputs. The relationships between inputs and outputs are nonlinear and require, at a minimum, a quadratic equation to reasonably model them. These models were further analyzed to explore possible control schemes. Tool depth was found to be the most fundamental means of controlling weld forces and tool temperatures. This research describes the input/output relationships enumerated above for FSW as well as a discussion of possible control schemes.

Na osnovu teorijskog polazišta, proučavanja savremenih međunarodnih kretanja - Venecijanskog bijenala arhitekture kao referentnog događaja, kao i istraživanja lokalnog konteksta &ndash; Novog Sada, metodom ankete izvršena je detaljna analiza praksi 145 novosadskih arhitekata. Sintezom dobijenih rezultata sagledan je proces tranformacije osnovnih oblika delovanja, kao i formiranja savremenih arhitektonskih praksi.</p> / <p>The topic of this PhD thesis are contemporary architectural practices, founded in<br />Novi Sad in the period between 1980 and 2010. Based on theoretical stance, the<br />study of contemporary international trends- Architecture Biennale in Venice as a<br />reference event, and the research of the local context- Novi Sad, by applying survey<br />as a method, a detailed analysis of practices of 145 architects from Novi Sad has<br />been conducted.Through a synthesis of the results, it was possible to assess the<br />transformation process of the elementary forms of activities, as well as formation of<br />contemporary architectural practices.</p>

Esta tese apresenta uma proposta de aplicação de formalismos adaptativos na modelagem e elaboração de cursos para softwares educacionais. A princípio, soluções adaptativas podem ser incorporadas a qualquer tipo de dispositivo guiado por regras. Neste projeto, o dispositivo subjacente utilizado será a Máquina de Moore, que é um autômato finito com saída associada aos seus estados. Assim, para cada estado pode-se associar o material didático a ser apresentado pela função de saída. Aplicando-se os conceitos de adaptatividade nesse transdutor, é possível elaborar cursos dinâmicos, que se auto-modifiquem com base em regras definidas pelo professor e pelas experiências e nível de conhecimento individualizado dos alunos. Para complementar o trabalho, é apresentado um protótipo de curso baseado em Máquina de Moore Adaptativa. / This thesis presents a proposal for application of adaptive formalisms for modeling and development of courses for educational software. In principle, adaptive solutions can be incorporated into any type of device guided by rules. In this project, the device will be used behind the Moore Machine, which is a finite automaton with outputs associated with their states. Thus, for each state we can associate the material to be presented by the function output. Applying the concepts of adaptive technology this transducer, you can develop dynamic courses, which are self-modifying based on rules defined by the teacher, and the level of experience and knowledge of individual students. To complement the work is presented a prototype of course based on Adaptive Moore Machine.

Electrical impedance of biological matter is known as electrical bio-impedance or simply as bio-impedance. Bio-impedance devices are of great value for monitoring the pathological and physiological status of biological tissues in clinical and home environments. The technological progress in instrumentation has significantly contributed to the progress that has been observed during the last past decades in impedance spectroscopy and electrical impedance cardiograph. Although bio-impedance is not a physiological parameter, the method enables tissue characterization and functional monitoring and can contribute to the monitoring of the health status of a person. In this paper an inexpensive portable multi frequency impedance cardiograph device based on impedance spectroscopy technique has been developed. By means of this system the basic thoracic impedance range and the heart-action-caused changes of impedance can be measured and the hemodynamic parameters of the heart function can be determined. This system has small size and low current consumption. The impedance cardiograph signals of the electrodes configuration by Sramek, Penney and Qu in this work was measured; compared and summarized. The differences of the measuring method, the schematic circuit diagram, the measurement results and area of application between impedance cardiograph and impedance spectroscopy were discussed and compared. The performance of this sensor-system was evaluated.

The aim of work – evaluate the Effect of the CAP Reforms on the Development of Multifunctional Agriculture. Seeking the aim, the tasks are: 1) analyze the objective presumptions and essence of the formation of the concept of multifunctional agriculture; 2) analyze the reforms of the CAP and evaluate their effect on the development of multifunctional agriculture; 3) reveal the possibilities of the development of multifunctional agriculture in Tauragė region; 4) analyze the measures of the CAP support, stimulating multifunctional agriculture in Tauragė region and evaluate their practice; 5) evaluate the ways and perspectives of the development of multifunctional agriculture in Lithuania. Methods of research – the analysis and synthesis of scientific literature and the EU and Lithuanian agricultural and rural development documents, comparable analysis, induction, deduction, questionnaire survey, correlation, statistical analysis, graphical depiction methods. On the bases of positive and normative concept of multifunctional agriculture, the analysis of the EU regulations of the CAP and their reforms, analyzed the main stages of the CAP reforms, designated their effect on the development of multifunctional agriculture. Thereby, designated the main CAP measures stimulating multifunctional agriculture and evaluated their practice in Tauragė region and revealed the possibilities of the development of multifunctional agriculture in this region.

This thesis deals with the implementation of an information system in the accounting and tax office. In the theoretical part provides information from the field of information management and information systems, which are complemented by basis of strategic, project and risk management. These are the main branches, which is the implementation of an information system in this work analyzed. Finally everything is evaluated according to economic considerations and the final outcome of this work is a comprehensive analysis of HOS 8.
