Analysis of the insurance market at present follows and then behavior and financial situation of nearest competitors are mapped. Thesis includes questionnaire study outcomes of 179 respondents applied to personal insurance preferences and insurance portfolio. The project part applies mainly to possibility of creating new insurance product „Long-term care insurance“ and it’s implementation.

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate an investment project in the Russian Federation from the foreign investor's perspective. The project feasibility study was developed as the first step in a decision making process of execution an international investment project, which includes ambient conditions and market analysis. The plan of cash flow was compiled in compliance of Russian tax system, and was considered as a base for project evaluation by using appropriate methods. For further assessment of possible risks of the project was used sensitivity analysis.

In my diploma thesis I have worked up a strategic analysis of the Pacovské strojírny Inc. company, during which I have used various methods of internal and external strategic analysis. Strategic analysis included Analysis of Company Resources, Portfolio Analysis and SWOT Analysis. The external strategic analysis included Porter's Five Forces Model, PEST Analysis and Competitors Analysis. On the basis of the aforementioned analyses I recommended a suitable strategy for future development of the enterprise.
