Hur tillgodogör sig klienter med missbruksproblematik dialektisk beteendeterapi inom tvångsvården?

Studier har visat att dialektisk beteendeterapi (DBT) är en tidskrävande integrerande behandlingsform. DBT beskrivs utifrån fyra hörnstenar: inlärningsteori, kognitiv teori, dialektisk filosofi och zenbuddistisk filosofi. DBT utvecklades för självskadebeteende, senare utvecklades den också för annan beteendeproblematik. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur behandlare och behandlingsassistenter med DBT erfarenheter upplever att klienterna tillgodogör sig DBT-behandlingen och om män respektive kvinnor tillgodogör sig olika. En man och fem kvinnor i Sverige med olika yrkeserfarenheter inom DBT intervjuades mellan 45-60 minuter om hur DBT-behandling av klienter tillgodogörs på LVM-hem utifrån behandlarens perspektiv. Intervjuerna meningskoncentrerade och resulterade i fem teman: a) främja positiv utveckling; b) en ökad kunskap; c) en ökad självkontroll; d) en ökad självkänsla; e) ett ökat välbefinnande. Slutsatsen är att ökad kunskap om sin personlighet främjar positiv utveckling att tillgodogöra sig verktyg för att öka självkontrollen, vilket kan leda till ökad självkänsla som främjar till ett ökat välbefinnande.

This report is an initially study of the whole processes in the manufacturing aims to capturethe current problems into groups of categories and prioritize the problem solving according tothe frequency of the defects detection, the root causes are indentified and assessment ofFMEA on the problems occurrence.Research method is performed by interviewing the key persons who are representatives fromthe units, then use tools of quality improvement to analyze each step (Affinity, Pareto,Ishikawa and FMEA).Conclusion of the study found that Burapha Wood Company is currently facing with threecategories of problem, those are Machinery, Competency, Timber Drying and others with thelist of problem are consisted.The Two sided planer machine is a first prior to be undertaken of solution. Where the rootcauses are ignorance of workers not follow the machine’s instruction in such of reset themachine before operating and the record form has not filled when problems occurrence.The processes where the company has to focus is on the Two sided planer machine which is ahighest prioritized by pareto diagram based on FMEA analysis, but considering with thepotential and possibility of solution Burapha Wood Company must intend on timber drying.These problems are partial platform of improvement of manufacturing quality to get a COCcertification.

The first processing stage in computational vision, also called early vision, consists in decoding 2D images in terms of properties of 3D surfaces. Early vision includes problems such as the recovery of motion and optical flow, shape from shading, surface interpolation, and edge detection. These are inverse problems, which are often ill-posed or ill-conditioned. We review here the relevant mathematical results on ill-posed and ill-conditioned problems and introduce the formal aspects of regularization theory in the linear and non-linear case. More general stochastic regularization methods are also introduced. Specific topics in early vision and their regularization are then analyzed rigorously, characterizing existence, uniqueness, and stability of solutions.

Temperamental predictors of prosocial and problem behaviors

Temperament is widely recognized as an important factor in shaping the trajectory of social and emotional development across childhood. However, the particular mechanisms by which temperamental differences contribute to emergence of early prosocial or problem behaviors have been poorly elucidated. The current study sought to examine the association between various temperamental factors on the emergence of internalizing, externalizing and empathic behaviors in toddlers. Temperament profiles were derived for 38 children, aged 29 to 34 months, based on responses by mothers to questions on the Early Childhood Behavior Questionnaire. Internalizing and externalizing problem behaviors were assessed using the Child Behavior Checklist. Finally, empathic behaviors were measured behaviorally during a laboratory play session. Scores on three temperamental factor scales (negative affect, surgency, and effortful control) were examined in relation to behavioral problems (internalizing/externalizing) and prosocial (global empathy towards mother/experimenter) behaviors using linear correlations and regressions. Higher negative emotionality was linked with increased internalizing and externalizing behaviors, while increased surgency was associated with decreased internalizing behaviors. These results are consistent with prior studies of temperament, supporting the contention that early child temperament significantly contributes to the emergence of behavior problems. No significant interaction effects were found between temperament styles in predicting behavior problems. Additionally, no significant main or interaction effects were found in predicting adaptive behaviors, such as empathic responding. The significance of these results is discussed with respect to our understanding of the etiological pathways to adaptive and maladaptive socioemotional development. / text

Effects of early childhood teacher delivered play therapy intervention on the social skills of young children: a pilot study

The growing number of young children exhibiting conduct problems is a cause of serious concern for many early childhood teachers. Past research has shown that child centred play therapy (CCPT) may be effective for addressing conduct problems. However, little research has been carried out to study the impact of CCPT on children exhibiting these problems, through training early childhood teachers in using CCPT strategies. Therefore, the goal of this pilot study was to explore whether young children who have persistent conduct problems in early childhood settings in New Zealand would show improved behaviour following their early childhood teachers learning some play-therapy strategies. It also aimed to gather information from teachers about the suitability of play therapy strategies within the context of the New Zealand early childhood system. Two early childhood teachers and two children, aged 4 years participated in the study. Following the teachers’ training, a decrease in problem behaviour and a notable increase in positive play behaviour were observed for the two child-participants. These positive changes corresponded with the improved Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) (Goodman, 1997) scores as measured by the teachers. The Total Difficulties scores gained for both children were in the clinical range at the beginning of the study and had improved to the normal range at the followup. The results also showed that the teachers appeared to have benefited from the training and were very satisfied with the intervention outcomes. They found the training acceptable and intended to continue using play therapy strategies in their centre. The findings of the current study extend previous research by demonstrating the teachers’ ability to deliver CCPT strategies. Some limitations of the current study included the limited number of observations during baseline, utilising teachers involved in the CCPT training as the source of data on children, and the absence of the parent report measures. The study findings have some important implications for early childhood centres and for further research.
