This thesis deals with the public financing of the road transport issue, particularly in the Czech Republic. The quantitative analysis of the revenues from the road transport and capital and maintenance costs on road transport in the Czech Republic in 2001 - 2007 is the fundamental part of this thesis. The vehicle excise tax, fuel tax, road tolls, parking policy revenues and other specific charges belong to the public revenues from the road transport. The output of the thesis is the assessment whether the public revenues from the road transport at least cover the capital and maintenance costs on the road infrastructure and the road transport is therefore a source of the revenues to public sources, or whether, on the contrary, the road transport represents the drain for the public sources and thus also for the tax payers. The evaluation of this situation while including the externalities of road transport is also part of this thesis.

The project was influenced by several factors, the most significant being the water element, which is very important for Judaism and primarily symbolizes ritual purification. The concept divides the area in the axis of Nešverova Street, making an orthogonal block, further separated according to the functions, and public area under which a part of the underground parking is located. The block consists of the synagogue, museum, restaurant and administrative building of the Jewish community with a library. From the architectural standpoint, the project was significantly influenced by the stained glass window of the burned former synagogue, which was, in more modern spirit, imprinted into the museum’s facade. This window becomes a dominant element of the facade, because it pervades all three floors, so the rest of the building is not divided and for lighting of the exhibition areas skylights and artificial light are used. Significance of this concept is intensified by the fact that the visitor is dragged inside, right to the front of the synagogue, to which a ramp leads. There is an importance of the mentioned water element in the design of the synagogue. The whole concept is approached organically and was inspired by a drop of water falling down on the surface. The synagogue literally grows from a body of water which surrounds it and creates a crystalline element. The idea is amplified by the water wall which runs from the passageway all around the synagogue. Part of the administrative building and the restaurant are designed in more simple style, but the idea of arch is reflected in the moulding, which was designed intentionally with reference to the surrounding buildings. The rest of the site served as a small park and this function has been maintained. A significant element in this part of the site is Theresian gate, which remained from the 18th century fortification. The project deals with the use of the site near the historical center of Velké Meziříčí. Originally there were production facilities that were already demolished. At present, this space is in no way used. This territorial study attempts to overcome the possibility of using the site for the emergence of a new urban structure that fulfills the function of housing, civic amenities and also the transport function.

The diploma thesis deals with the processing of project documentation. Specifically, the parts A, B, C, D.1.1 and D.1.3 of Annex 6 to Regulation No. 499/2006 Coll., On construction documentation, as amended by Decree No. 62/2013 Coll. The documentation refers to Multifunctional building object which contains seven apartments, space for commercial use and collective garages with automatic parking system. The plot is located in the city Hradec Králové. The building has four above ground floors and one underground floor. Apartments in second and third floor are equipped with spacious terraces which are created by decreasing of width of building. Roof is solved as walkable green roof with entrance from the staircase space. Foundations are made as concrete belts. Vertical load bearing structures are created by lime sand blocks and reinforced concrete columns. The structure of ceilings is designed as monolithic reinforced concrete with cantilevered part where thermal insulating prefabricated panels should be placed.

This diploma thesis deals with the solution of a construction of a corner gap site. A multifunctional house comprising three business establishments and nine residential units has been designed. Business premises will be used as stores. The apartments are designed for 4-member families. The multifunctional house has an atypical ground plan with a total area of 512 m2. The object has a basement and four above-ground floors, the business establishment is located on the first above-ground floor. The garage will be operated in automatic parking mode. The entire building is covered with a single-layer flat roof. The project is processed using the AutoCAD computer program.

The aim of this diploma thesis is the elaboration of a technical study of Gorkého Street in Brno - Veveří. In the diploma thesis, three variants of situations will be elaborated, which will focus on several different criteria. Variant 1st. focuses primarily on cyclists, a dedicated bike lane and a parking space with sloping and longitudinal layouts. In variant 2nd. is the effort to preserve the existing width arrangement, the original street greenery is preserved. The parking spaces are perpendicular and cycling is covered by a pictogram. Variant 3rd. is primarily concerned with the number of parking spaces. Variant 2nd. was selected for detailed development. The street will be completely reconstructed due to the construction of sewerage and water supply. All construction modifications are designed according to valid standards and regulations.

The subject of the thesis is the development of project documentation for the construction design of the mixed-use building in the city of Brno, a borough of Cerna Pole. The vertical load-bearing structures of the above ground floors are made of sand-lime blocks. The vertical load-bearing structures of the underground floor are made of cast-in-place concrete. The last floor has warm flat green roof. The main purpose of this building is for administration, trade and services, which make up to 60% of floor area. The rest of floor area is used for housing. On the north side is the underground parking garage. The residential part is oriented to the South, the offices are oriented to the North.

This master’s thesis is deal with the design of the tractor’s front axle drive to enlarge its braking efficiency of the standing tractor fixed by the parking brake. In the first two chapters, the basic information related to the above stated issue is being summarized. Next, procedure of creating the design including the fundamental calculation proposal is being described. In the last chapter, the strain-stress analysis of the selected partial sections of the design is being presented. The final design is supported with the drawing documentation that is being part of this master’s thesis, too.

The subject matter of the assigned project is Aquapark Brno – located near Lužánky. The subject is an architectural study elaboration of an aquapark adjoining the current swimming pool building which was established in 1979. This building facility is used primarily by professional swimmers and sportsmen for it contains the only 50 meters long swimming pool with a tribune in Brno. The aim of the project is to create new areas and pools for visitors with recreational intentions and therefore to widen the possibilities for free time activities. The project also deals with restoration of a 16 meters long training pool in the existing building, creation of inner and outer aquapark areas and adding exercise and dance halls as an extension to the existing fitness center. Another goal of this project was to make the pedestrian access to the area more pleasant which is achieved by creating an underground parking space in the area of the existing building’s frontal space and also by designing a footpath leading from the remote side of the excessively frequented Sportovní street. The primary aim of the project is an operational connection of the existing and the new building by a central building and also preventing an eclipse of the area by integrating the building in the area’s hillside. The advantage of the project is the presence of relaxation facilities and sports areas. The project completes the sporting environment of the area which makes it an attractive locality for a family recreation.
