Forskare hävdar att det behövs mer forskning om projektdeltagares upplevelser i ideella projekt och vad som krävs för att behålla dem i projektet. Forskning som gjorts har främst undersökt projektdeltagares motivation i megaevenemang, sportevenemang och studentengagemang i andra kulturer. Det blir därav viktigt att undersöka varför individer engagerar sig ideellt och varför de fullföljer till projektets slut när deltagandet i sig är belöningen. Studien har, utifrån en fallstudie med 11 kvalitativa intervjuer, undersökt projektdeltagares upplevelser från ett ideellt evenemangsprojekt. Det projektdeltagarna upplever som betydelsefullt för sin motivation att delta och stanna kvar i projektet är främst tillhörigheten till en grupp. Erhållandet av meriter på cv:t ses också som en anledning till att delta och en fördel efter projektets slut. Dock är samarbetet och känslan av en tillhörighet till gruppen det som väger tyngst för motivationen och att fullfölja projektet. När projektdeltagarna upplever samhörighet ökar också känslan av trygghet och stöttning i gruppen och det blir lättare att fråga om hjälp vid behov. Om en arbetsgrupp splittras försvinner sammanhållningen och med det tillkommer också en risk att projektdeltagare förlorar känslan över att ha en roll och ett tydligt ansvarsområde. Det är också viktigt att projektdeltagarna får uppleva sin förmåga och att de bidrar till projektet. Sammanfattningsvis väger alltså det sociala behovet tyngre än att få en merit på cv:t. Därav finns det anledning och tro att vid rekrytering bör man trycka på att man får göra något fantastiskt ihop med en liten grupp och inte bara lyfta att det är en bra merit. / Researchers argue that more research is needed for project participants' experiences in nonprofit projects and key factors to keep them in the project. Former research has mainly examined project participants' motivation in mega events, sporting events and student engagement in other cultures. It is therefore important to examine why individuals engage in nonprofit projects and why they carry out until the end of the project when the participation itself is the reward. Based on a case study with 11 qualitative interviews, the study has examined project participants' experiences from a non-profit event project. The project participants experience that their motivation to participate and to go through with the project is mainly the feeling of belonging to a group. Qualifications for a resumé is also seen as a reason to participate and beneficial after the project is over. However, the collaboration and feeling of belonging to a group is important for motivation and to complete the project. The sense of security and support increases when the project participants experience belonging to a group, and it becomes easier to ask for help when needed. If a workgroup is divided, cohesion is lost and there is also a risk that project participants lose the feeling of having a role and a clear area of ​​responsibility. It is also important that the project participants experience their ability and their contribution to the project. In summary, the social need thus weigh heavier than getting qualifications for a resumé. There is therefore reason to believe that when recruiting, one should highlight the fact that you will be doing something great together in a small group and not just highlight that it is good for a resumé.

The dissertation deals with the critical analysis of the audit of the education system of the Czech Republic, issued in 2014 by EDUin non-profit organization. The theoretical part de- scribes basic characteristics of the education system in the context of the level of the Czech education phenomenon. The aim of the dissertation is to analyse the bases and sources which were used to elaborate the audit of the education system and to make comparison with stra- tegic and other relevant documents. The aim will be achieved on the basis of the results of research, the relevance of the audit, presented by EDUin organization, will be confirmed or disproved. The interview with the authors of the audit and the analysis of documents are research methods and techniques. The interview with authors of the audit brings the answers to the questions of the research survey: "What is the audit of the education system and why did EDUin organization issue the audit?"The authors feature motivational impulses, which encouraged them to issue the audit, and clarify the main aims of the audit. I have chosen the topic of this diploma thesis for its relevance. The number of ordered executions is still high and the ratio between rights and obligations on the part of individual subjects of the execution proceeding is unclear. The diploma thesis discusses subjects of the execution proceeding according to the Execution Procedure Act. It analyses who can be subject and participant of the execution proceeding, the status of the subjects, their role in execution proceeding and also their rights and duties. The aim of the diploma thesis is to compare the position of individual subjects, describe how the execution can affect lives not only of the obligated and entitled subjects but also lives of third parties and to elaborate on future legislation. The diploma thesis is, except for the introduction and the conclusion, divided into ten chapters. The beginning is devoted to general questions regarding subjects and participants of the proceeding and the proceeding itself. Then it discusses individual subjects of the execution proceeding. The last chapter focuses on the discussion about future legislation.

The main point of this work is to examine and analyze the development of an instrument of social policy -- social services in the Czech Republic and in selected EU countries in the period 2000 - 2012. It is possible to highlight the weaknesses of the Czech system of social services by following comparison of the basic pillars. Positive and innovative experience of some EU countries is one of the possible ways how to solve defects in the Czech Republic.

This thesis deals with the Regional planning of services and its contribution to the site from the point of view of participants in network of services for vulnerable children and families. Regional planning of services is one of the key activities of the project "System Development and Support of Social and Legal Child Protection Tools", which aims to support the transformation of the care system for vulnerable children into practice. The aim of this work is to find out how the participants in network of services for vulnerable children and families perceive the activity of regional planning of services, their experience and make recommendations for the implementation of regional planning. The theoretical part describes the project, the activity of regional planning of services and individual activities of the regional planner. This work focuses on the cooperation and multidisciplinary approach. A qualitative approach is used in the research. Data was collected using individual and group interviews. The research group is a sample of participants in network of services for vulnerable children and families. The Effects of a Fully Distributed Context on Meetings : A Qualitative Case Study at Ericsson / Påverkan av en Helt Distribuerad Kontext på Möten : En Kvalitativ Fallstudie på Ericsson

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many companies have been forced to make their employees work from home, fully distributed. One of the work aspects affected by this change is meetings. The purpose of this study is to investigate what effects the fully distributed context have on meetings, meeting participants, and meeting leaders. To achieve this purpose, a qualitative single-case study was conducted. The empirical data were gathered from 15 interviews with employees at a large information and communications technology company in Linköping, Sweden. The theoretical framework including the fully distributed context, leadership, motivation, and attitudes, behaviors, and norms is the foundation for the analytical model used to analyze the empirical data. For meetings, it was found that the number of meetings has increased, meetings without fixed end times get longer, meetings need clear agendas and structures, and that meetings are booked in a tighter sequence without room for breaks. Using cameras during meetings increases participation but not if there are many meeting participants or when someone starts sharing their screen. It was found that inter-office meetings work better in the fully distributed context. Discussions are fewer and less lively in fully distributed meetings, but virtual fika1 is a kind of informal meeting that can help employees feel more connected and maintain interpersonal relations. For meeting participants, it was found that the fully distributed context has enabled participants to not be seen during meetings, to multitask more, to go on walks during meetings, and to attend more meetings. Fully distributed meetings offer participants more flexibility in meeting attendance but are also more difficult for participants to stay focused during. The perceived social pressure from the surrounding often determines how participants behave in meetings, for example if participants turn on their cameras or not. For meeting leaders, it was found that, contrary to the literature, meeting participants’ behavior affect the motivation of the meeting leader. Meeting participants' multitasking during meetings is considered positive for productivity but makes meeting leaders feel insecure as participants seem to listen less. Cameras can offer supportive feedback as the meeting leader can see the participants reactions, but it only works in smaller meetings. Fully distributed meetings demand more of meeting leaders who need to work harder to structure the meetings, force discussions, aim questions, and keep participants active. The results implicate that meeting leaders should set agendas for and structure meetings, implement breaks between meetings, and start meetings with some informal conversations. Moreover, meeting leaders should turn on their cameras in smaller meetings without screen sharing and aim questions at specific participants instead of posing open questions. At the end of this report, a number of suggestions for future studies on the topic of fully distributed meetings are proposed. 1Fika is Swedish for taking a break and sharing a cup of coffee or tea with friends or colleagues possibly, but not necessarily, with a little something to eat.

The aim of this diploma thesis is to analyze the spectrum of participants in the Questions of Václav Moravec talk show between the years 2016 and 2018. It investigates its political balance, changes over the monitoring period and the impact the 2017 election had on it. Theoretical part deals with qualitative indicators of bias and circumstances that might affect it. It discusses the alternatives to public media and obligations the Czech Television must meet in its shows as defined by law. Content analysis has been chosen as the research method. In the analytical part of the thesis, participants are coded based on their sex, age, political affiliation and function. Obtained results about the spectrum of participants are then confronted with the CT Code to either confirm or refute its compliance.

This is an era of globalization due to which the world has become a Global Village and organizations are transforming into multicultural firms while increasingly building diverse teams. However, due to the organizations’ tendency towards becoming international, individuals worldwide travel and migrate from one society to another. This cross-culturalism is fabricating challenges for the countries of higher immigrant rates because individuals bring the complex nature of mixed cultures with them. The context of cross-culturalism is based on various different elements e.g. cultural specific values, norms, behaviors, lifestyles, ethics and beliefs which promote diversity in multicultural organizations. Thus the diversity of people creates intercultural barriers for managers/leaders to manage multicultural teams as well as challenges have increased for employees/followers who work in those teams. However, it has become crucial for both leaders and followers to learn cultural competencies so that they can manage cultural barriers and perform effectively as well as efficiently in multicultural teams.Due to the rising demand to learn intercultural competencies, this research was initiated to help future leaders and followers to better understand and manage ICC barriers. This study is an addition to existing research and will guide multicultural organizations and their participants (leaders & followers). However two questions were developed around which this study has been executed 1) How do participants from High context and Low context cultures experience intercultural communication barriers while working in multicultural settings? and 2) How can intercultural communication barriers/challenges effectively be managed among participants? In order to answer these questions, interviews on students were conducted at four universities of Sweden for the purpose of collecting empirical data which later on analyzed with the existing literature relevant to ICC.The findings of this study conclude that both High-context (HC) cultures and Low-context (LC) cultures have differences among each other which create barriers/challenges for the individuals working in multicultural settings. The results represent that when an individual from HC moves to LC, he/she comes across challenges or even if an HC moves to HC he/she faces some sort of challenges in any way possible too and, same goes for LC. The empirical data after analysis with existing literature proved that every culture whether it’s LC or HC wants to interact with HC or LC, it always creates challenges and conflicts. But at the same time there are some possible steps which can be taken to manage these barriers e.g. observation of cultures, active listening, comparison with own culture, have a dialogue around the problem as well as understanding of others’ behaviors and giving them space.
