Aplikace pro Android na bezpečnostní monitorování komunikace / Android App for Security Monitoring of Communication

Klepáčková, Karolína January 2019 (has links)
This diploma thesis is focused on implementation of application for security monitoring of network communication of other applications in mobile device with Android platform. Provides users information about security risks that may harm his/her privacy or device. It uses a local VPN to tunnel all data sent to the wireless network. These can be linked to an application that has sent them because the Android kernel is derived from the Linux kernel and can be used to retrieve information about established network connections and the application identifier associated with the connection. This mapping allows to get more information about an app that is potentially dangerous for your mobile device.

Proximity and flux pinning effects in superconductor-ferromagnet hybrids / Effets de proximité et piégeage de vortex dans des hybrides supraconducteur-ferromagnétique

Palermo, Xavier 30 September 2019 (has links)
Superconductor-ferromagnet hybrid systems often bring about new physics and may as well be useful to design new non-volatile, high-density memory devices for superconducting electronics. In this thesis, we study two different types of SF hybrids, each following a possible approach to memory devices, but focusing on fundamental aspects. One is about the proximity effect in oxide heterostructures. In these, triplet correlations appear, that are both superconducting and spin-polarized. These enable using effects from spintronics like GMR, but are also very dependent on interface properties. We investigated these in SFS oxide trilayers by conductance measurements. These showed oscillations which may, in part, be related to these triplet states. We also observed that interface effects affect the electronic properties of the ferromagnet, especially when that layer is thin. Another type of interaction occurs through stray magnetic fields from the domain structures. Recent theoretical proposals suggested that small swirling spin textures called skyrmions could similarly interact with superconductivity through this mechanism. We investigated such coupling in bilayers, in which the superconducting vortex dynamics dominate the transport properties. We found that the presence of skyrmions and domains alike enhances the critical current. It also leads to an unusual Hall effect in the superconducting state. Most of these properties can be explained qualitatively in terms of vortex pinning and guided motion.

Finite-element simulations of interfacial flows with moving contact lines

Zhang, Jiaqi 19 June 2020 (has links)
In this work, we develop an interface-preserving level-set method in the finite-element framework for interfacial flows with moving contact lines. In our method, the contact line is advected naturally by the flow field. Contact angle hysteresis can be easily implemented without explicit calculation of the contact angle or the contact line velocity, and meshindependent results can be obtained following a simple computational strategy. We have implemented the method in three dimensions and provide numerical studies that compare well with analytical solutions to verify our algorithm. We first develop a high-order numerical method for interface-preserving level-set reinitialization. Within the interface cells, the gradient of the level set function is determined by a weighted local projection scheme and the missing additive constant is determined such that the position of the zero level set is preserved. For the non-interface cells, we compute the gradient of the level set function by solving a Hamilton-Jacobi equation as a conservation law system using the discontinuous Galerkin method. This follows the work by Hu and Shu [SIAM J. Sci. Comput. 21 (1999) 660-690]. The missing constant for these cells is recovered using the continuity of the level set function while taking into account the characteristics. To treat highly distorted initial conditions, we develop a hybrid numerical flux that combines the Lax-Friedrichs flux and a penalty flux. Our method is accurate for non-trivial test cases and handles singularities away from the interface very well. When derivative singularities are present on the interface, a second-derivative limiter is designed to suppress the oscillations. At least (N + 1)th order accuracy in the interface cells and Nth order accuracy in the whole domain are observed for smooth solutions when Nth degree polynomials are used. Two dimensional test cases are presented to demonstrate superior properties such as accuracy, long-term stability, interface-preserving capability, and easy treatment of contact lines. We then develop a level-set method in the finite-element framework. The contact line singularity is removed by the slip boundary condition proposed by Ren and E [Phys. Fluids, vol. 19, p. 022101, 2007], which has two friction coefficients: βN that controls the slip between the bulk fluids and the solid wall and βCL that controls the deviation of the microscopic dynamic contact angle from the static one. The predicted contact line dynamics from our method matches the Cox theory very well. We further find that the same slip length in the Cox theory can be reproduced by different combinations of (βN; βCL). This combination leads to a computational strategy for mesh-independent results that can match the experiments. There is no need to impose the contact angle condition geometrically, and the dynamic contact angle automatically emerges as part of the numerical solution. With a little modification, our method can also be used to compute contact angle hysteresis, where the tendency of contact line motion is readily available from the level-set function. Different test cases, including code validation and mesh-convergence study, are provided to demonstrate the efficiency and capability of our method. Lastly, we extend our method to three-dimensional simulations, where an extension equation is solved on the wall boundary to obtain the boundary condition for level-set reinitializaiton with contact lines. Reinitialization of ellipsoidal interfaces is presented to show the accuracy and stability of our method. In addition, simulations of a drop on an inclined wall are presented that are in agreement with theoretical results. / Doctor of Philosophy / When a liquid droplet is sliding along a solid surface, a moving contact line is formed at the intersection of the three phases: liquid, air and solid. This work develops a numerical method to study problems with moving contact lines. The partial differential equations describing the problem are solved by finite element methods. Our numerical method is validated against experiments and theories. Furthermore, we have implemented our method in three-dimensional problems.

Vaikų, patyrusių dislokuotą žastikaulio viršgumburinį lūžį, gydymo metodų vertinimas / Evaluation of Treatment Methods of The Children with Displaced Humeral Supracondylar Fracture

Čekanauskas, Emilis 08 July 2010 (has links)
Žastikaulio viršgumburiniai lūžiai gana dažna vaikų trauma, ypač per pirmąjį gyvenimo dešimtmetį. Nėra vieningos nuomonės dėl šios patologijos gydymo taktikos bei chirurginio gydymo metodikų taikymo. Iki šiol neatlikta perspektyviųjų studijų, lyginančių kelių skirtingų chirurginių gydymo metodų pritaikymą viršgumburinių žastikaulio lūžių gydymui, įvertinant vėlyvuosius gydymo rezultatus. Todėl mūsų atliktos retrospektyvioji ir perspektyvioji studijos turės didelę įtaką formuojant naują požiūrį į šių lūžių diagnostiką, gydymą bei reabilitaciją. Remiantis atlikto tyrimo duomenimis, įvertinome skirtingų chirurginio gydymo metodų ankstyvuosius bei vėlyvuosius rezultatus, galimas komplikacijas, veiksnius, lemiančius gydymo sėkmę, ir rekomenduojam taikyti literatūroje iki šiol neaprašytą bei mūsų modifikuotą Dorgano perkutaninės osteosintezės metodą, gydant vaikus, patyrusius dislokuotą žastikaulio viršgumburinį lūžį. Taikant šį gydymo metodą, galima žymiai sumažinti jatrogeninių neurologinių komplikacijų skaičių. Vėlyvieji gydymo rezultatai, taikant šį gydymo metodą, nesiskiria nuo gydymo rezultatų įprastiniu osteosintezės būdu. / Supracondylar humeral fractures are rather common trauma in children, especially on the first decade of the life. There are no united opinion concerning therapy of this pathology and surgical technique. Still there is no high–quality perspective studies performed to compare several different surgery techniques for supracondylar humeral fracture that compare later results of the treatment. Therefore our retrospective and perspective studies will have great influence to form new viewpoint to diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of those fractures. Study performed will let us to evaluate early and late results, possible complications of different surgical techniques, will let us evaluate the factors that determine the success of the treatment. Summarizing the results of the studies, literature data and our practice we recommend an unpublished and modified by us pinning method of Dorgan percutaneous pining technique to treat children with displaced supracondylar humeral fracture. This technique leads to significant reduction of iatrogenic neurological complications. Late results of the treatment using this technique do not differ from standard pinning techniques in children.

Défauts de vorticité dans un supraconducteur en présence d’impuretés / Vorticity defects in a superconductor with impurities

Dos Santos, Mickaël 09 December 2010 (has links)
This thesis is devoted to the mathematical study of some models suggested by the theory of the superconductivity. More specifically, we consider the simplified model of Ginzburg-Landau (without magnetic field) in presence of a Dirichlet or a degree condition. In the first part we treat the existence problem of local minimizers in a multiply connected domain of the plan with prescribed degrees conditions. In the second part, we discuss the effect of a pinning term in the two-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau functional. This part is divided in three chapters. We first consider the situation of a pinning term (depending on the Ginzburg-Landau parameter) which is a simple function and takes a value different to 1 only in a fixed number of subdomains (also called inclusions) whose size tends to zero. We prove that, considering a Dirichlet condition with a non zero degree, the vorticity is quantized and localized inside the inclusions. In the second chapter, we consider the situation of a pinning term without specific structure. We imposed a Dirichlet boundary condition with a null degree. In the last chapter of the second part, we deal with the case of a simple and uniformly distributed pinning term. We impose a Dirichlet boundary condition with a non zero degree. The last part deals with the effect of a simple pinning term (independent of the Ginzburg-Landau parameter) in the three-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau functional. The preliminary results we present allow to understand how the vorticity lines are bent under the effect of the pinning term

Origine de l’éclatement de grain sur des pièces forgées en Inconel 718 / Origin of inhomogeneous grain growth in Inconel 718 forgings

Agnoli, Andrea 19 December 2013 (has links)
Inconel 718 is a nickel base superalloy commonly used to manufacture the rotating disks of turbojet engines. Such disks are generally produced by hot forging, which involves a sequence of different deformation and annealing steps. The presence of second phase particles (delta phase in Inconel 718) is commonly exploited to limit grain growth during annealing via the Zener pinning phenomenon. Nonetheless, microstructure heterogeneity (with regards to second phase particles, hardening, texture and chemical composition) can lead to inhomogeneous grain growth during annealing. The objectives of this PhD work were to understand, model and simulate numerically the phenomenon of inhomogeneous grain growth that can occur in Inconel 718 turbine disks during the annealing steps of hot forging sequences. The physical mechanisms which may explain the occurrence of the phenomenon are investigated experimentally by performing SEM and EBSD analyses of Inconel 718 industrial pieces. The focus is placed on the influence of second phase particles and strain energy (estimated from intragranular misorientations) on the occurrence of the phenomenon. From those observations, it is inferred that the phenomenon occurs when the grain boundary driving forces overcome the Zener pinning forces; this is achieved when stored energy is present and heterogeneously distributed. Moreover, hot torsion tests are carried out to reproduce the phenomenon in laboratory, to evaluate its sensibility to thermomechanical parameters and to test the previously postulated mechanism. The validity of this mechanism is finally demonstrated by modelling numerically the phenomenon in 2D. The full field numerical model is based on a level set description of the grain boundaries in a finite element context. Microstructure evolution is simulated explicitly taking into account Zener pinning, capillarity and stored energy driven grain growth in a single framework. The effect of strain stored energy distributions (estimated from experimental data) in pinned microstructures is investigated focusing on the conditions leading to inhomogeneous grain growth.
