Lávka přes Labe / Footbridge across the Labe

Krč, Rostislav January 2017 (has links)
The thesis focuses on design of prestressed concrete footbridge which passes pedestrian and bicycle path over the Elbe river near city of Celakovice in the Czech Republic. Three different bridge options were analyzed and for further development a cable-stayed footbridge was chosen. Its bridge deck is formed of a box girder supported by cables in its vertical axis and all cable stays are anchored into two concrete A-shaped pylons. This structure was analyzed in SCIA Engineer and assessment of serviceability limit states and ultimate limit states according to recent European standards (Eurocodes) was made. Both the global structural behavior and the local structural integrity of box cross-section were assessed as well as construction stages and cross-sections of pylons and cable stays. Assessments were performed in IDEA StatiCa combined with hand calculations. Eventually a dynamic response of structure was analyzed. Natural modes and frequencies were found and forced oscillation response was evaluated. The thesis includes technical drawings, construction process and visualization.

Analýza neutronového pole laboratorního AmBe zdroje s využitím měřícího stendu / The AmBe Laboratory Neutron Source Field Determination Using Experimental Stend

Jelínek, Martin January 2017 (has links)
This master’s thesis provides a comprehensive overview of the conventional neutron sources from the perspective of reactions which lead to the production of neutrons, advantages, disadvantages, properties and their possible utilization. In the relation to the assembly of the laboratory neutron source and the unique experimental stand “Candle” basic methods of the neutron field analysis are outlined and two of them, the neutron activation analysis and the calculation using the MCNP software code are discussed in depth to apply and compare these methods. The experimental part deals with the realization of neutron activation analysis from its design itself, through gamma spectrometry to the cadmium ratio calculation. In compliance with the measurements, a calculation with MCNP code was run and both methods were evaluated and compared. The computation is complemented with the analysis of radiation situation on the borders of the supervised area, which is compared to the legal limit.

Proti dualismu - konceptuální umění ve světle funkcionálně-normativní teorie / Against Dualism - Conceptual Art in the Context of Functional-Normative Theory

Brejcha, Michaela January 2019 (has links)
Title: Against Dualism - Conceptual Art in the Context of Functional-Normative Theory Author: Michaela Brejcha Department: Department of Aesthetics Supervisor: Mgr. Ondřej Dadejík, Ph.D. Abstract: The present dissertation thesis focuses on the problem of theoretical reflection of conceptual art in Anglo American aesthetic discourse in the second half of 20th and the beginning of 21st centuries. It is based on the claim of many conceptual artists and also some theoreticians, which emerged in the nineteen- fifties, that the conceptual art or tendencies have nothing in common with aesthetics or aesthetic theory. This work shows that this presumed discord draws on reduced understanding of what is the aesthetics and, at the same time, this understanding itself is based on the dualistic paradigm, which presents one of the most fundamental frames for our approach to reality. In the context of analysis of selected texts of Anglo American aesthetics, eight particular distinctions of dualism will be defined, which to a great extent contributed to the rejection of aesthetics by conceptual artists, and on the other hand to bad recognition of conceptual art by the aesthetic theory. As an alternative to the dualistic approach in the context of definition of conceptual art, the fluid and dynamic conception of aesthetics...

Supraleitung in biaxial texturierten Seltenerd–Nickel–Borkarbidschichten

Niemeier, Tim 17 August 2010 (has links)

Případová studie českého stranického systému / 4-Coalition- anomaly or the expression of the systemic tendency? Case study of the Czech party system

Hanáček, Vladimír January 2011 (has links)
v anglickém jazyce: This study focuses on the analysis of former Czech political project of "4-Coalition", which was established by four Czech oppositional parties (KDU-ČSL, US, ODA and DEU) in the years 1998 - 2002. This analysis is done through the case study, which focuses on the development of "4-Coalition" in its three developmental stages: from the cooperation of the sovereign parties, throw the formalized platform of party cooperation to the project of "4- Coalition" as a peculiar actor of the Czech politics. The analysis of ideological background, program and personnel questions shows the potential tensions, that arose inside of "4- Coalition", gives them in the appropriate historical context and analyses its causes. These tensions together with the external factors are viewed as a fundamental cause of the final failure of the project of "4-Coalition" and its disintegration. The aim of this study is to answer the question, whether it is possible in party system perspective to speak about "4-Coalition" as a potential third pole of the Czech party system, or whether it is anomaly, which the systemic tendency to the bipolar configuration doesn't infringe. With regard to the continuing relevance of only one left-right dimension of the party competition and the completion of the project of so...

Napjatostní aspekty kvazikřehkého lomu / Stress state aspects of quasi-brittle fracture

Sobek, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
The presented dissertation thesis is focused, as the title suggests, on the analysis of stress state aspects of quasi-brittle fracture. That means the fracture of composite materials with cement matrix (such as concrete, mortar, plaster, etc.), ceramics and other composites. Used methods are based on the theory of multi-parameter linear elastic fracture mechanics, which highlights the importance of considering of several initial terms of Williams power series, approximating the stress and displacement fields in a cracked body, within conducted fracture analyses. Determination of values of coefficients of terms of this series, recalculated into the shape functions serving in most of the conducted stress state analyses, is performed via the so called over-deterministic method. Another tool for the problem solving is nonlinear fracture mechanics, represented primarily by the cohesive crack model, namely the crack band model implemented in the used ATENA software. For the backward reconstruction of stress field in the cracked bodies the application ReFraPro is used. The analytical part deals with various aspects of wedge-splitting test – from the boundary conditions, though various possibilities of nodal selection (required as input variables for the over-deterministic method) up to the advanced (automated) analysis of numerical model. Special chapter includes atypical test specimens designed for adjusting of various levels of constraint of stress and deformation at the propagating crack tip. The study of this geometry and also the subsequent detail analysis reveals important information for real experiments. Backward reconstruction of stress field presents analysis on suitable possibilities of nodal selections as inputs into the procedure of approximation of the crack tip fields and answers the question of the necessity of application of the multi-parameter linear elastic fracture mechanics for certain fracture analyses of specimens from quasi-brittle materials. Indruchová, Petra January 2015 (has links)
The subject of this diploma thesis is a project of a new town hall for the district of Brno - sever. Current town hall is situated in the inconvenient building on the Bratislavská street and few decentralised offices are located in separate places. The project should solve current problems as well as to follow current trends in contemporary town hall design. Town halls of these days must cover many functions, not only the accommodation of local government, but also to be the actual centre of the town - the centre of culture, economy and services. The new town hall building is located on corner plot of land in the compound of old Brno Černá Pole barracks. The building provides leasable commercial units as well as office space for the municipal government.

[pt] INTEGRAÇÃO SÍSMICA-GEOMECÂNICA NO PRÉ-SAL BRASILEIRO, BACIA DE SANTOS / [en] SEISMIC – GEOMECHANICAL INTEGRATION IN THE BRAZILIAN PRE-SALT, SANTOS BASIN

TALLES BARSANTI MENEGUIM 28 January 2021 (has links)
[en] In Brazil, in March 2006, with evidence of gas and oil condensate in the Paraty location (well 1-RJS-617D of block BM-S-10) and a few months later, in August, with the discovery of oil accumulation (well 1-RJS-628A of the block BMS- 11, pioneer of the area currently declared as LULA) in the Aptian-age carbonate reservoirs and located in the Sub-Salt layer of the Santos Basin, these reservoirs have acquired relevance for the economic and technological development of Brazil. The research carried out in this project aims to develop methodology for estimating 3D scenarios of static elastic mechanical properties of deformability: modulus of elasticity and Poisson s coefficient and the fluid-mechanical coupling factor: Biot- Willis coefficient, integrated to the seismic data and destined to feed mechanical simulator, mitigating uncertainties and economic and SMS risks throughout the productive life of the various PPSBS deposits. The pioneerism of the present study is: (I) performing deterministic CSSI (constrained sparse spike) seismic inversion based on the initial P-Impedance model throughout stratigraphic sequence of the Santos Basin: Post-Salt, Salt and Pre-Salt taking into account burial depth effect on the seismic trace, (II) development of Rock Physics Models (RFM) for the entire stratigraphic column of the Santos Basin, based on well logs and geotechnical holes, in order to estimate the dynamic elastic mechanical properties from the PImpedance obtained in the seismic inversion and (III) realization of simultaneous mechanical tests on mechanical analogue rock (Roman Travertine block) of Santos Basin Pre-Salt layer to determine static vs. dynamic relation, as well as using two static vs. dynamic relations from scientific studies to build three scenarios of static elastic mechanical properties of deformability and Biot-Willis coeficient. As a result, it was verified that the three 3D scenarios of static elastic mechanical properties of deformability, as well as, Biot-Willis coeficient inherited the level of detail of the HD (High Definition) used seismic, that is: vertical resolution of approximately 35m and horizontal resolution of approximately 600m. When comparing the most rigid of the three scenarios with the least rigid, it is observed that the static elasticity modulus vary up to 35 percent, static poisson s ratio vary up to 22 percent and the Biot-Willis coefficient variy up to 15 percent. The greater variation is especially in the carbonates of the Pre-Salt of Aptian age, in the carbonates of the Post-Salt of Albian age and in the sands of the Pos-Salt of Paleogeno and Upper Cretaceous.
