Magistriniame darbe pateikiamas Lietuvos regioninės politikos įgyvendinimo vertinimas. Darbo objektas -regioninė politika. Darbą sudaro trys dalys: teorinė, tyrimo metodologija bei tyrimas ir rezultatai. Pirmoje dalyje nagrinėjama regiono samprata, regionalizacijos procesas, regionų ekonominės plėtros teorijos, regioninės politikos koncepcija bei apžvelgiama Lietuvos regioninė politika. Antroje dalyje pateikiama tyrimo metodologija, remiantys kuria trečioje dalyje atliekamas tyrimas bei pateikiami jo rezultatai. Tyrimo metu buvo įvertinta Lietuvos regionų socialinė-ekonominė padėtis, apžvelgiamos regioninės politikos priemonės bei apibendrintas Lietuvos gyventojų požiūris į vykdomą regioninę politiką. Atliekant teorines regioninės politikos studijas, darbe naudoti mokslinės literatūros ir palyginamosios analizės bei sisteminimo metodai. Empiriniam tyrimui atlikti buvo taikomas statistinių duomenų analizės, kiekybinis (apklausa) duomenų rinkimo metodai. Magistriniame darbe teoriniams ir praktiniams aspektams iliustruoti panaudota 15 paveikslų ir 10 lentelių. Teorinį – metodologinį darbo pagrindą sudaro 45 literatūros šaltiniai lietuvių, anglų ir rusų kalbomis. / The study examines the evaluation of implementation of Lithuanian regional policy. Development and implementation of regional policy is one of the main measures to ensure stable economic development of the country and to reduce disparities among different territories. Regional development of small country such as Lithuania is in fact about national economic development. The major objective of regional development is sustainable creation of jobs, through supporting small and medium sized enterprises, promotion productive investment, improving infrastructure and furthering local development. The thesis consists of three parts: theoretical evaluation, empirical researches methodic, research and its results. In the theoretical evaluation part first analysis question is the concept of region. Then analyze the influence of rationalization on economic development, regional development theories and fundaments of the regional policy. In the theoretical part the principals of Lithuanian regional policy are explained. In the second part, the empirical researches methodic and researches process are explained. In the third part, an empirical research of implementation of Lithuanian regional policy and it’s results are described. Rapid disappearance of country heritage is a very actual topic. It is very important to revive old traditions and customs as well as develop the new ones. Protection of cultural values in the countryside is very complicated because of problems in governing of cultural value protection, property regulations, and lack of finances. The purpose of the research: to estimate what regulations and methods have been employed in order to protect Lithuanian country heritage and how these means are put into practice. Dissertation thesis on "A Model to Evaluate the regional Competitiveness of the EU regions NUTS II" is focused on the evaluation of socio-economic situation within the European regions with the aim to enhance a regional competitiveness and to develop practical tools in order to enable its measurement. In order to deepen and to develop knowledge in this thematic field the dissertation thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the competitiveness of nations, competitiveness of regions, main economic theories within the context of regional development, the evolution of EU Regional Policy concept and main models to evaluate the socio-economic situation within the regions. The practical part deals with the definition of the key factors of regional competitiveness and the configuration of such a model which is based on the competitiveness index to enable relative comparison of the regional socio-economic situation and the level of regional competitiveness. Key factors of regional competitiveness are defined on the base of situational analysis of current knowledge in this area. A Model to Evaluate the Regional Competitiveness of the EU regions NUTS II is designed on the base of existing evaluation model of competitiveness, which was created by team of Romanian economists. The analysis of the model is based on the use of specific indicators from EUROSTAT regional database. In order to achieve optimum results there is suggested a modification of the model in the thesis so as to ensure its practical use by regional stakeholders.

Jana Růžková: Immigration of Russian speakers to the Czech Republic and their integration. Diploma Thesis. Brno 2014 The aim of this paper is to verify the comprehensive demands of an immigration policy for the Czech Republic, the perception of associated difficulties faced by Russian-speaking immigrants, and the perception of the Czech population towards these foreigners. The aspects involved are theoretically defined and clarified by examining migration, migration policy, integration, and the inclusion of foreigners into the structures of the social majority in the Czech Republic. The practical portion of the thesis is focused on both the quantitative research of immigration of people from the former Soviet Union based on Czech Statistical Office data along with additional research based on a survey comprised of Russian-speaking people and Czech residents' sentient towards immigration policy. In conclusion, the hypotheses are confirmed or disproven by evaluation of the research and examination conducted.

The thesis analyses the situation of the labour market in Ústí nad Labem region. The attention is primarely aimed to the developmental trends in the emloyment and unemployment and to the analysis of expenditures on the state politics of employment in the region during the period from 2000 to 2014. The basic elementary characteristics are used for findings of the basic trends in the development of indicators.The part of the work is the interregional comparsion of the main labour market indicators, inclusive of the average values in the whole Czech Republic. The great emphasis is placed on the determination of the problem area of the labour market in Ústí nad Labem region and the suggestion of the solution leading to the amelioration of the current situation.

Aim of this thesis is to theoretically and empirically survey the territory of activity of the local action groups (MAS), MAS Šumavsko, z. s. and MAS Třeboňsko o. p. s., and on the basis of the gained information to testify or disprove possibility of sustainability of their existence just in the rural areas. The thesis focuses on evaluation of activities of the local action groups and on solutions which would aim at maintaining of activity of the local action group, making innovation faster even overall development of the solved region.

This work deals with regional policy and its role in development of the village Církvice. The first part describes regional policy and its characteristics, development, principles, tools and targets in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The second part focuses on the village Církvice, which is located in the Central Bohemian Region, between the historic towns Čáslav and Kutná Hora. In this section, there is contained not only general characteristics of the village, but also its geographic and demographic specifications, the state of the transport and technical infrastructure, the level of the civic amenities and there is also a view on the unemployment rate, social structure and the possibility of cultural and sports activities in the village. Also, there is proposed the project for the drowdown of the subsidies from EU funds, which will ensure the further development of the village and new opportunities for the residents of the village. The results were obtained based on the semi-structured interviews with the Mayor and other employees of the municipal office. The conclusion of the work is dedicated to the evaluation of the impact of regional policy on the development of the village Církvice.

This work focuses on the reactions and procedures involved in agricultural production and individual changes in its environment. In the first part I focus on the concept of entrepreneurship in agriculture and also external factors that affect agricultural company and directly affect them. Further work factors that enter into creating a business environment and shape the market in the Czech Republic. The practical part focuses on the gradual development of the chosen company and its connection to the individual processes within and outside the company. The work is based on internal data of the company, who declined to be named because of the litigation that led to the competition.
