Negro communities formed by fugitive slaves have not always disappeared with the destruction of their quilombos. That is the case of Rio das Rãs, and Brasileira in the Médio São Francisco s region. This work aims to analyze those conflicts for the region s possession, the permanence in the territories, the flights, the ways of living accordingly to the cultures, and also the relationship among the members of the communities, entities, and institutions that permeate this universe. Besides this, the work also intends to explicit the experiences of solidarity kept with other negro communities from the region, their fight to the recognition and the legalization of the territory / Liberdade é reconhecer que estamos no que é nosso é um estudo, na área da História Social, que busca documentar as trajetórias de lutas, permanências e resistências encontradas por negros remanescentes de quilombos na conquista de seus territórios. As comunidades negras constituídas por escravos fugitivos nem sempre desapareceram com a destruição de seus quilombos. É o caso das comunidades do Rio das Rãs e Brasileira, na região do Médio São Francisco. O trabalho tem como objetivo analisar os conflitos pela posse da terra, a permanência em seus territórios, os enfrentamentos, os modos de vida, pertinentes a sua cultura, as relações entre os membros da comunidade, entidades e instituições que permeiam esse universo. Além de abordar essas relações procuro explicitar também as experiências de solidariedade mantidas com outras comunidades negras da região que lutam pelo reconhecimento e legalização de seus territórios
