The service providers have a major highlight in the Brazilian economy, with a share of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of around 70%, something very similar to most developed countries. Many of these companies provide service to other organizations and, therefore, have characteristics that are peculiar to them. Within this context, knowledge intensive business services act with great relevance. These providers are used internally holds that knowledge to build customized solutions to every buyer, disseminating this knowledge in the form of useful practical applications to organizational day-to-day buyers. Some of these providers are encased in high-tech environments, distinguished by high capital investment and require a great level of monitoring market. This dissertation analyzed the buyer - provider dyad in this context to provide knowledge intensive business services and wrapped in a high tech environment in order to design a management model able to assist administrators and researchers operating in their professional activities. For this purpose, we used a first set of studies to compose an initial conceptual model. Following, conducted a systematic literature review that included 106 scientific articles as a way of detailing the model previously outlined. Soon, conducted a case study of provider - customer dyad to survey empirical data they were able to lead to a practical discussion of the refined model. At this stage, we interviewed eight business customers and four representatives of a provider metrological services environment characterized by use of high technology and high knowledge. After content analysis of semistructured interviews was raised one set of empirical evidence that suggested the actual applicability of the outlined conceptual model. The search ended with a discussion about managerial and academic implications and suggesting topics for continuing studies.

Modèles pour la création interactive intuitive / Models for intuitive interactive creation

Bernhardt, Adrien 03 July 2013 (has links)
This thesis focuses on the interactive intuitive creation of 3D Models. Improvment of modeling tools for artists is still an active research mater especialy concerning efficiency and expressiveness. Moreother video games or 3D printers are make the use of modeling tools more common by the general public. In this context, to find new forms of interaction, we have developed modelers and modeling techniques: a 3D free-form modeler which uses a painting metaphor for creation, a vector-based real-time landscapes modeler as well as a sketch-based landscapes modeler that uses first person drawnings. Scientific contributions range from a blending operator for implicit modeling that guarantees the locality of the blend. The use for a bi-harmonic formulation for landscape modeling that allow fine, intuitive and real-time terrain modeling. Finally through landscape modelisation using sketches composed of silhouettes seen from the first person point of view.

Deklarativt minne hos barn med dyslexi

Stål, Elisabet, Stålnacke, Maria January 2016 (has links)
Developmental dyslexia is a specific reading and spelling disability with several explanatory proposals. Previous research has shown that there is a strong relation between developmental dyslexia and difficulties in phonological processing, which has resulted in the theory that the cause of developmental dyslexia is a specific weakness in phonological awareness. However, such a specific weakness does not explain the non-linguistic difficulties that are also common in developmental dyslexia. According to the Procedural Deficit Hypothesis (PDH), several (both linguistic and non-linguistic) difficulties that are observed in developmental dyslexia can be explained by abnormal development of the procedural memory system. Moreover, this hypothesis implies that the declarative memory system remains intact and may have a compensatory role for the reading disabilities in developmental dyslexia. In this study, the aspect of declarative memory that is visual recognition memory after incidental encoding was examined. 10 children with diagnosed developmental dyslexia and 10 typically developed children participated in the study. The results indicated an intact declarative memory in children with developmental dyslexia. However, no significant correlation between declarative memory and reading ability was found. Thus, the prediction that declarative memory can serve a compensatory role in developmental dyslexia was not supported.

Shareef, Zeinab, Hällgren, Maria January 2015 (has links)
Based on the procedural deficit hypothesis (PDH) declarative memory is assumed to be intact in people with dyslexia. This is supported by studies showing that declarative memory is intact or enhanced in children with SLI or dyslexia when examined using non-verbal memory tests. People with dyslexia who undergo university studies are assumed to compensate for their difficulties in different ways, including with the use of declarative memory. This study examines the aspect of declarative memory that is visual recognition memory after incidental encoding. The participants were 11 university students with dyslexia and a control group of 26 university students without dyslexia. The results showed an intact declarative memory in people with dyslexia. A possible trend that they also have an enhanced memory after 24 hours compared with the control group could be seen but was not significant. The prediction that declarative memory is used as compensation in general and for impaired reading skills could not be substantiated. Other possible compensatory strategies and abilities besides declarative memory are discussed.
