This graduatio theses analyzes project control by production tools in the department of tools production in Škoda Auto a.s. There are described activities leading to customer satisfaction. The goal of this thesis was analysis and suggestion of progressive proposals. For getting views from workers was used questionnaire searching. It helped to analyze the process and make suggestion.

The name of the thesis is: Seizing costs of non-conformities in the business of projectingThe thesis is a compulsory part of the master programme: Master of Science in Industrial Engineering with a specialisation in Quality. The master’s programme is worth 300 ECTS credits.Eka Engineering is in the business of projecting and is in need of a system to seize and measure costs of non-conformities. As of today, Eka Engineering can only estimate roughly how large or small the costs are related to non-conformances.The purpose of the thesis is:- To search for means that can be used to, foremost, seize non-conformities and, secondly, seize the costs of the non-conformities in the business of projecting.The theory used to gather information is mainly studies on TQM. Methods used to answer and fulfil the purpose includes: Benchmarking, survey and interviews.A survey distributed within Eka Engineering proved that employees did not have enough motivation or information to use non-conformity reporting as means of improving the business. This was perceived to work functionally as projects were carried out. Part of the results must therefore include motivation and information to why documentation is futile for successful business improvement.Furthermore, a benchmarking was conducted in order to improve Eka Engineering’s way of handling non-conformities. This benchmarking was conducted at SAAB Space in Gothenburg.Interviews were conducted within Eka Engineering to find solutions for problems that arose during the survey, and also to shape a tool proposal for handling non-conformities that was influenced by SAAB Space.The result of the thesis presents Eka Engineering with a concept labelled Knowledge base, this concept includes:• A tool for documenting non-conformities and derived improvements• A work-process for the handling of non-conformities and derived improvements• A tool to involve employees in improvement work / Uppsatsnivå: D

Diploma thesis of "Management of Six Sigma projects" is dealing with possibilities of using this technique in specific continuous improvement projects. Main goal is to analyse tools of this method on real situation and proof that Six Sigma is usable to manage this kind of projects. This work will include necessary theoretical basics from project management scope based on generally approved PMBOK methodology. Part of this analysis will be concerned on comparison of PMBOK principles and Six Sigma method. Explanation of Six Sigma basics won't be omitted as well through the fact this method has achieved a significant value in recent times. Practical part of this paper will be composed as case study example of a logistics project in DHL Exel Supply Chain company where I have been employed in United Kingdom.

The master thesis discusses the topic of introducing formal work procedures, management tools and reporting into a software company in order to meet the principles of project management defined in PMBOK. The main purpose of this work is to give the reader an overview of knowledge and process areas of these standards to a level that he understands the basics of the process. The next purpose of the work is the actual plan of implementation and adaptation of these processes by an existing software company. The final purpose of the work is an introduction of reporting and validation procedures in order to monitor the adaptation of the processes. The biggest contribution to Memos Software will be the overall improvement in development and resource planning processes, as well as the ability to measure their efficiency with greater reliance and precision. Since I work as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the analysed company, I was able to clearly identify problematic areas of individual work procedures and processes in project management and suggest actions necessary to improve their quality and efficiency.

Diploma thesis in theoretical part briefly describes the technology of wireless internet connection (WiFi) and wired connection ADSL/VDSL. The thesis analyzes the impact of changes in technology and customer satisfaction and on two scenarios predicts response of the entire segment. It describes the elements of the project management and suggests the optimal way of management and communication with customer. At the end of the practical part they are estimated network costs of change itself.

The master's thesis "Evaluation of good and bad practices in the management process of a specific project" aims to analyse and evaluate the good and bad practice in the project of "Contract compliance" in the company SAP. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical and methodological basis of project management and its processes. The second part of the thesis characterises the company SAP and the selected project as well as analyses and evaluates good and bad practices. Furthermore, the findings are summarised in the Lessons Learned document and preventive measures for the identified bad practice are proposed. This creates a learning material for future project management in the company.

And, thus the readings, analyses and comparisons of his poetry, see how the poet constitutes his lyric. Initiated in May 1922 and prolonged until October 1944, these letters show elements of poetic project of Bandeira. In the epistolary discourses, are recorded the dialogues that underpin much from the poet s thoughts. Considering this, it delineates the key question of this survey, that is, checking how far the facts discussed by the poet in his letters are effectively applied in his verses. The analyzed corpus is consisted by letters of the two interlocutors and the poems of Manuel Bandeira. The methodology of the analysis goes from comparisons of speeches to observing the more incisive and points that offer the necessary elements for investigation in the processes of creation. As a theoretical framework for understanding the historicity, social context and life and work of Bandeira, we support in studies of Antonio Candido, Lafetá, Julio Castañon and Alfredo Bosi. About the studies of letters and the processes of creation, we resorted to Hansen, Moraes and Salles. The part about the concepts of music, the study is based on the concepts of Bennett, Carpeaux, Chissel, Golden, Med, Priolli, Schafer and Schoenberg. Finally, the results lead us to understand the letter like fragments of memory residue and multifaceted discourse that reveals the creative process of the poetics of Manuel Bandeira as one of the proposals of the turn / O escopo desta pesquisa é a analise da gênese do projeto poético de Manuel Bandeira por meio das cartas trocadas entre ele e Mário de Andrade. E, assim, por meio das leituras, análises e comparações de sua produção poética, depreender o modo como o poeta constitui sua lírica. Iniciada em maio de 1922 e prolongada até outubro de 1944, essas correspondências revelam elementos constitutivos do projeto poético de Bandeira. Nas dobras dos discursos epistolares, estão registrados os diálogos que balizam boa parte do pensamento desse poeta. Com isso, delineia-se a questão chave desta pesquisa, ou seja, a verificação de que até que ponto os fatos discutidos pelo poeta em suas cartas são efetivamente aplicados em seus versos. O corpus analisado compõe-se de cartas dos dois interlocutores e dos poemas de Manuel Bandeira. A metodologia parte das análises e comparações dos discursos, observando-se os pontos mais incisivos e que oferecem os elementos necessários para averiguação nos processos de criação. Como referencial teórico para a compreensão da historicidade, contexto social e vida e obra de Bandeira, apoiamo-nos em estudos de Antonio Candido, Lafetá, Júlio Castañon e Alfredo Bosi. Acerca dos estudos das cartas e dos processos de criação, recorremos a Hansen, Moraes e Salles. O design mostra-se como uma área que tem contribuído para entender e atuar sobre as demandas contemporâneas, destacando-se pela capacidade de criar valor para empresas e consumidores. Nessa perspectiva, esse trabalho apresenta a investigação realizada sobre uma ferramenta de design - workshop, tendo como objetivo compreender os processos que acontecem no Workshop em Design Estratégico, a partir do pressuposto que esse instrumento pode ser associado a processos de aprendizagem e geração de conhecimentos. O estudo consistiu na articulação entre referencial teórico e pesquisa empírica - composta pela observação de quatro workshops realizados na Escola de Design Unisinos, nos anos de 2009 e 2010, e pela realização de seis entrevistas com profissionais ligados ao ensino de design, na mesma instituição. Os resultados apontam que o workshop em design consiste em uma sessão de projeto concentrada, intensa e criativa, com uma estrutura intencionalmente projetada e um grupo específico de atores, entre os quais se destacam coordenadores, ministrantes e participantes. As etapas (problem setting, problem solvin, visualizing), que objetivam o entendimento do problema, a busca por soluções e a visualização dos concepts, promovem reflexão individual e coletiva, articulação entre teoria e prática, conflitos e resultados - que podem ser tangíveis (concepts apresentados) ou intangíveis (experiência que os participantes vivenciaram). Assim, o entrelaçamento dos saberes/conhecimentos prático-reflexivos (tácitos) com os saberes/conhecimentos científico-racionais (explícitos) dos participantes, torna o Workshop em Design Estratégico um espaço profícuo para aprendizagens e geração de conhecimentos. / The heightened competition unchained by the era of the information has been generating new challenges to the companies and professionals. The design is shown as a field that has been contributing to understand and act on the contemporary demands, standing out for the capacity to create value for companies and consumers. In that perspective, the study presents the investigation accomplished on a design tool - workshop, having as objective to understand the processes that happen in the Workshop in Strategic Design, implying that this instrument can be associated to learning processes and generation of knowledge. The study comprises the connection between theoretical reference and empirical research - composed by the observation of four workshops accomplished at Unisinos’ Design School, in 2009 and 2010, and six interviews made with professionals involved with Design teaching, in the same institution. The results show that the workshop in Design consists in a concentrated, intense and creative project session with a structure intentionally planned and a specific group of players, among which stand out coordinators, people that make speeches and participants. The stages (problem setting, problem solving, visualizing), that aim the problem understanding, the search for solutions and the concepts visualization, promote individual and collective reflection, connection between theory and practice, conflicts and results - that can be tangible (presented concepts) or intangible (participants experience). Therefore, the interweaving of the practical and reflexive knowledge (tacit) with the scientific and rational knowledge (explicit) of the participants turns the Workshop in Strategic Design an useful space for learning and generation of knowledge.

This diploma thesis focuses on design of the web application for project management. The final product is more process-oriented compared to most of other widely spread project management tools. It builds on the visual representation of tasks' progress. One of the main features is its simplicity and user friendliness as it also aims at the users who are not willing to invest their time to discover more complex applications but are willing to use some project management tool. The application is developped in the Symfony framework.
