Copyright protection of computer programs This thesis deals with copyright protection of specific works of authorship - computer programs. The thesis deals with the definition of works of authorship and the conditions in which the computer program is a work of authorship, at least as a legal fiction. For the term computer program, the thesis is trying to find a suitable definition that is sufficiently general, but also accurately captures it's notion. Various known forms of expression of the computer program (source code, machine code, but also a code in an intermediate language) are described and the thesis explains, why it is appropriate to protect the computer program in any form. The thesis clarifies, why the term "software" and the term "computer program" are not identical and arbitrarily exchanging them can cause problems. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the author of the computer program and co-authorship. The next part deals with the rights of the author of the work. The exclusive rights of the author (the moral rights of the author and copyright) are discussed. Software piracy Abstract This diploma thesis is focused on the topic of "Software piracy", especially with regard to the legal regulation of the Czech legal order, primarily to the regulation of the Act No. 121/200 Coll., on Copyright and Rights Related to Copyright and on Amendment to Certain Acts (the Copyright Act), as amended. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to describe in complexity the software piracy, its types and present the individual kinds of malware, with regard to the two possible approaches to the topic. Formally, the thesis is divided into eight chapters which are further divided into individual subchapters. The first chapter is devoted to a brief outline of the history and current trends in software piracy. The second chapter deals with the definition of the term software and describes the basic properties of computer programme. In the third chapter, individual areas of the legal protection of computer programmes are described, i.e. areas of international law, European law, and copyright, administrative and criminal law of the Czech Republic. There are also briefly presented some other forms of legal protection of software, such as contract-based protection or patent protection of software. Considerando a dificuldade existente quanto a programas computacionais acessíveis a pesquisadores das áreas agronômicas, biológicas e da saúde, e a falta de entendimento da complexidade da estrutura de análise dos dados longitudinais, elaborou-se programa computacional em linguagem que permita ao usuário facilidade de manuseio, e torná-lo disponível, para pesquisadores das áreas aplicadas e, finalmente, discutir as vantagens do procedimento multivariado na preservação da estrutura de dependência dos dados em relação aos procedimentos convencionais utilizados na experimentação agronômica. / Abstract: The purpose of the present paper is to discuss theoretical and practical aspects of the behavior of response variables in different groups and evaluation conditions by using Growth Curves methodology. This methodology refers to a multivariate procedure of experimental data analysis that makes forecasts about the average behavior of the response variable for different situations from that for which the study was planned. In additien, the methodology enables comparative analysis of the curves between each of the experimental groups. Considering the lack of easy-use computer programs for researchers in the agronomical, biological and health fields, and the difficulty to understand the complexity of the data structure in longitudinal studies, a computer program will be proposed and written using high level language. The software will be of simple handling, easy access to researchers of applied areas and available. This work will also discuss the advantages of using the multivariate procedure of analysis compared to the conventional procedures commonly used in agronomic experimentation, related to the preservation of the structure of data dependence. / Doutor

This thesis is an attempt to create a HyperCard-based learning environment to teach DIADES and other related material. It is a departure from the classical Computer Aided Instruction methods towards a more flexible and user-controlled design. The goal was to set the foundation of a new CAI design which would closely resemble a Hyper- Text system. These systems are characterized as having interconnections between related concepts in the CAI environment.

The main target of this work is to design and to implement unfailable safety appliance for motocycles with use any GSM technology. In my masters’s thesis I applied to individaul fields which I had to knows for realization of this work. The introductory chapter tells the reader about evaluation of former semestral projects and about brief description of the realized mechanism. It is followed by descripctoin of principles of communication between PC and mobile phone. The main part of my work is dedicated to application itself. The applicaton is called motoalarm. The last chapter creates description service of localisation mobil phones which is called Kde je... The conclusion includes evaluation of this master´s project and general description of the realized mechanism.
