Evolutionäre Sprachtransformation

Jung, Hagen 10 June 2011 (has links) (PDF)
Related languages contain words of the same origin. Through time these words change. Remaining similarities between these words can be detected in different languages. In this work, transformations across lexical wordlist are used to model these changes. To reconstruct the possible pathways of language change an algorithm is choosen that calculates the phylogeny, the appropriate protolanguage and the cognate sets. An evaluation function detects plausible evolutions. Because of the enormous amount of possible solutions an approximative method is proposed that continuously modifies and improves possible solutions.

O conceito de protoforma orgânica na determinação da gênese e da natureza do organo-vivente: individuação, forma e vida / The concept of organic protoform in determining of the genesis and nature of the living organism: Individuation, form and life

Santos, Guilherme Francisco 08 August 2017 (has links)
The present thesis proposes the constitution of the concept of organic protoform with which we aim to deal with problematic relations between the general notions of life and individuality. Particularly with regard to the problem of its origins, understood here as the privileged moment of the genesis of organo-vital beings, at which moment the tension between life and individuality is expressed more clearly. Life, individuality and origins are general notions and themes of research and philosophical and scientific reflection of all time. The concept of organic protoform emerges from the observation of several elements directed to a historical-conceptual soil of scientific investigations and natural philosophy. This basis is constituted by our investigation into a set of particular historical expressions which we investigate in our thesis, namely the concepts of monera, Urschleim and Urpflanze. We structured the concept of organic protoform from two notions-axis that guided its meaning. The first is the notion of a polarity between a preindividual condition and an individual condition as a constituent of the organic form. The second is the notion of organic memory as a psychic property of organic forms universally present, from its most elementary levels. It is therefore a question of understanding how the problematic relationship between life and individuality takes place and how the question of its origins can contribute to this understanding. Thus, the concept of organic protoform was structured within a morphological vision in which the notions of form and of organic intertwine with the notions of life and of individuality.

Le design critique et les nouveaux enjeux de conception : un territoire historico-géopolitique de 1960 à nos jours / Critical design and new challenges of conception : a historico-geopolitical domain from 1960 up to the present day

Bertrand, Gwenaëlle 07 November 2016 (has links)
This research work aims to contribute to the study of the new challenges of conception raised by critical design. In several respects the corpus of this thesis is based on a history of coun¬ter history, a way of doing and thinking whose conspicuous historicity takes place in the late sixties when a few designers decided to reconsider the notion of project and stray from the straight and narrow in order to question society through the means of design. The notion of criticism - from the Greek krinein meaning «separate», «discriminate» - takes on its full meaning by introducing a shift (not a break) which makes room for inter¬vals and allows sensitive thinking and conception. From human enhancement to human modification, this thesis also reveals a number of concerns which go beyond the invention of artificial means and touch upon biological aspects. Considering that the critical dimen¬sion in the field of design has been exhausted, this research highlights a few ways to deconstruct the operating principles of this discipline as well as its reinventions.
