The anarchist militant s action continued to exist with great social relevance until the year of 1934. The reasons of the decline of these militant s action cannot be sought in preconceived theories or in factors that don't take into account the anarchist s formulations while protagonists of the history. In this sense, any research that looks for crumbling the reasons of the anarchist s decline it owes, in first place, to study the existent debates among the same ones. Also it must be studied among that debate the historical context in which they were inserted and for the existent international discussions on the theory, strategies and anarchist tactics. That was what we tried to develop, looking for rescuing the anarchist political statements in their newspapers, documents, texts and even in the handbooks of the Police. Using wide documentation and pertinent bibliography to each theme, in a way to accomplish a work that at the same time presented to the reader the tenor of the documentation and to brought reflections on the lifted up subjects. This way we tried to demonstrate the reasons of the decline of the anarchist s influence emphasizing their own organizing and theoretical weaknesses, not of the anarchism in general, but of the predominant anarchism in São Paulo / A influência dos anarquistas em São Paulo não desapareceu após a greve de 1917 ou nos primeiros anos da década de 1920 como quer parte da historiografia sobre o anarquismo e o movimento operário. A ação dos militantes anarquistas continuou a existir com grande relevância social até o ano de 1934. As razões do declínio da ação destes militantes não podem ser procuradas em teorias pré-concebidas ou em fatores que não levam em consideração as formulações dos anarquistas enquanto protagonistas da história. Neste sentido, qualquer pesquisa que busque esmiuçar os motivos do declínio dos anarquistas deve, em primeiro lugar, estudar os debates existentes entre os mesmos, determinados pelo contexto histórico no qual estavam inseridos e pelas discussões internacionais existentes sobre a teoria, estratégias e táticas anarquistas. Foi isso o que procuramos desenvolver, buscando resgatar os posicionamentos anarquistas presentes em seus periódicos, documentos, textos e até mesmo nos prontuários policiais. Utilizando ampla documentação e bibliografia pertinente a cada tema, de modo a realizar um trabalho que ao mesmo tempo apresentasse ao leitor o teor da documentação, mas que, além disso, trouxesse reflexões sobre as questões levantadas. Desta forma procuramos demonstrar as razões do declínio da influência dos anarquistas ressaltando as suas próprias debilidades organizativas e teóricas, não do anarquismo em geral, mas do anarquismo predominante em São Paulo

A atuação local e isolada deste grupo que, atipicamente, desenvolveu suas ações no interior de São Paulo, na cidade de Ribeirão Preto, e a participação de trabalhadores rurais entre seus membros são características que o diferenciam dos demais. O desenrolar da pesquisa traz uma contextualização sobre os movimentos políticos, econômicos e sociais ocorridos em Ribeirão Preto no decorrer da década de 50 e, principalmente, na década de 60. Mostra os caminhos percorridos pelos integrantes do grupo, desde o momento anterior à formação da FALN até serem descobertos e presos. Destaca, por fim, a participação de alguns trabalhadores rurais no grupo e a forma como a Igreja católica local viu-se envolvida nesta trama política / Abstract: This research has the main objective to show the formation process and the activity of an armed left group in the 1960s, self named National Armed Forces of Liberation (FALN). The local and isolated activity of this group that atypically developed their actions in the interior of the State of São Paulo, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, and the participation of rural workers among their members are characteristics that make this group very different from the others. The development of the research gives us a contextualization about the social, political and economic movements that happened in Ribeirão Preto in the 1960s, mainly in the 1960s. It shows the ways traveled by the members of the group since the first moment of the FALN formation until their members be discovered and imprisoned. Tendo os periódicos libertários e os prontuários da polícia política como fontes privilegiadas, aponta, por um lado, a vigilância e repressão exercida contra a imprensa anarquista, e por outro a resistência às arbitrariedades policiais em voga durante a ditadura de Getúlio Vargas. Durante a pesquisa ficou evidente a intensa agitação anarquista dos primeiros anos pós-golpe de 1930, passando pelas ondas repressivas de 1935 a 1937, chegando até meados da década de 1940. As ações de apoio aos prisioneiros levadas a cabo pelo Comitê Pró Presos Sociais colocava em prática a solidariedade tão cara aos anarquistas. Discute-se o conceito de crime político e de crime de Estado, para melhor compreender as práticas ilegais vigentes na época / Abstract: As a result of researches through the DEOPS (State Department of Political and Social Order) and the anarchist newspapers compiled by militants and deposited in Edgard Leuenroth¿s Archive (AEL) in the UNICAMP, this work demonstrate, beyond the survive of the anarchism in the 1930¿s, its activities related to trade-union, political and cultural practices. Taking libertarians periodics and political police documents as selected source, points the surveilance and the repression against the anarchist press, and on the other hand the resistance to police arbitrariness of the Getúlio Vargas dictatorship. During the research appears the intense anarchist agitation on the first years after the 1930¿s coup d¿etat, pasing throgh the repressives waves of 1935 and 1937, going to middle 1940¿s. Support actions to the prisoners taken by the Pro Social Prisoners Committee put in practice the anarchist solidarity.
