Pokorný, Václav January 2020 (has links)
Title: The BanalFatal program in spinal cord injury prevention Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to examine the subjective impressions of participants after the completion of this program (lesson) so that it is possible to assess the emotional impact of the program and its impact on the further behavior of children. A Quantitative Study about Card and/or Credit Fraud

KALABA, VIKTORIA, JAVANI, SANDRA, LAKSJÖ, PETRA January 2022 (has links)
The following criminological study describes individuals’ vulnerability and their risk behavior when it comes to card and/or credit fraud. The purpose of the study has been to investigate people's anxiety about being exposed to card and/or credit fraud on the internet, previous exposure to fraud and risky behavior over the internet. The data for the study has been collected through a digital survey which was shared in various Facebook-groups and distributed through individuals close to the authors. In total, the survey generated 308 self-reported responses. With the help of the statistical analysis software SPSS, the study has been able to implement statistical methods. The results show that there is a positive connection between anxiety and one's own previous exposure to fraud, as well as if persons in the immediate circle have been exposed. The correlation is significant in both the bivariate and the multiple analysis. Regarding the correlation between anxiety and risky behavior, there’s a positive direction that couldn’t be ensured in the multiple analysis. Despite this, the connection gives an indication of what the direction looks like. The relations are less strong in the multiple analysis, which may be due to the effect of the independent variables and that there may be other relevant factors. The results of the study can also be understood on the basis of the theory of the risk society, the routine activity theory and previous research. Although the study has some limitations, it contributes to the research in the criminological field as it provides a better understanding of individuals' concern related to card and/or credit fraud and factors affecting the perceived concern. In conclusion, the study has merely scratched the surface, and provides support for continued studies on the subject.

Zítková, Michaela January 2013 (has links)
In current time we experience deeper and deeper indebtedness of Czech households and their deterioration into insolvency on one side, on the other side among Czech population was identified a very low rate of financial literacy in the last few years. Examined problem is defined using analysis of indebtedness of Czech households, determines the occasions and results of this risky behavior; and through delimitation issue of financial literacy. Experiences of Black MSM at an HBCU Regarding Stigma and HIV Risk Behavior

Jeter, Natasha Harden 01 January 2016 (has links)
Black men who have sex with men (MSM) on Historically Black College/University (HBCU) campuses face a unique set of challenges. In addition to being disproportionately affected by HIV, Black MSM are impacted by risk behavior, stigma, and environmental policies and practices that adversely influence their experiences. The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of Black MSM at a HBCU and how stigma, culture, social practices and the collegiate environment impact HIV risk-taking behavior. Utilizing the ecological framework and qualitative analysis, the behaviors of 13 Black MSM on a HBCU campus were examined. Personal interviews and risk assessment questionnaires were analyzed utilizing the phenomenological inquiry method. Data were inductively coded and combined into themes using a qualitative data analysis computer software package. The findings revealed that these 13 participants perceived that HIV-related risk behavior is occurring. They also noted a stigma within the current culture and expressed feelings of marginalization and a negative campus climate from students in the sexual majority. Implications for improving social change from this research include opportunities to (a) establish a culture of social responsibility and consciousness related to the integration and socialization of Black MSM; (b) dialogue regarding the campus climate; and (c) address conscious, unconscious, individual, and environmental stigmas experienced by Black MSM attending this HBCU.

Ungdomars sexuella riskbeteenden påverkas av psykisk ohälsa

Hägg, Anna January 2021 (has links)
BACKGROUND: Adolescents with mental health issues are part of a vulnerable group in society with a higher risk of health complications.AIM: The aim of this review was to see how mental health affects adolescents and their sexual risk behaviors.METHODS: A search in the databases PubMed, Cinahl and Cochrane were executed to find relevant articles that studied mental health in adolescents and their sexual risk behaviors. RESULTS: Mental health issues in adolescents can lead to an early sexual debut, a higher number of sexual partners, unprotected sex and a higher risk of contracting a sexually transmitted infection. It can also lead to adolescents using sex as a form of self medication and that they combine it with alcohol or drugs.CONCLUSIONS: Expanded knowledge about how mental health in adolescents affects their sexual risk behaviors can raise the comprehension of their health and help the medical professionals who care for these young people to identify those with a higher risk. More education and support for the adolescents with mental health issues could be a way to decrease their sexual risk behaviors.
