Ingångslön, en fråga om kön : Ingenjörsstudenters förväntningar

Österberg, Elin January 2010 (has links)

Sex pianisters uppfattningar om a prima vista-spel / Six pianist's understanding of sight-reading

Larsson, Carina January 2008 (has links)
The main purpose of this study is to identify and compare classical pianists' understanding of sight-reading. Six pianists were interviewed, four professionals and two students. All of them concidered good sight-reading ability to be an advantage, especially when rehearsing, but most important is to be a good musicians performing music thoroghly gone through.

Modulgenerator för Matchade Transistorpar / Matched Transistor Generator for Differential Pair

Öhman, Fredrik January 2005 (has links)
The aim of this thesis is to implement a module generator that automatically generates a matched differential pair. That is, to easily create new pairs without having to draw everything from scratch. The module generator is able to create matched layouts with up to 2x2 transistor blocks with or without a guard-ring. The program uses a number of input parameters from the user to customize the layout. Hence, the generated blocks can be used in a large range of analog integrated circuits.

Neo--- A new perspective on STM capacity

Liu, Jun 09 July 2004 (has links)
Exploring the word length effect from the perspective of information density, the current research extended previous findings on cross-linguistic differences in STM capacity with the development of a new strategy that has the potential to double ones digit span with minimal learning and a much shorter training period. Experiments have shown promising results and responses to training differed across language groups. The underlying mechanisms are explored and discussed in relation to strategy usage, capacity estimates and optimization of language systems.

The Research on the Relationship among Sales Staff¡¦s selling skill, Service Attitude and Job Performance, Use Psychology Contract as an Intermediate Variable.-A Case Study of Kaohsiung Department Store

Wu, Chun-yen 24 July 2007 (has links)
The market scale of Taiwan department store expands unceasingly these years, and the competition is more intense than before. As a result, the research and discussion in the department store are more and more. The management style of department store in Taiwan becomes large scale, chain operation system, and internationalization. In addition to, might be joint venture or technological cooperation with overseas company. The major objective of this study is to examine the relationship among selling skill, service attitude, and job performance, moreover, using the psychology contract to an intermediate variable. To discuss, the intermediate effect to the selling skill, service attitude, and job performance. From this research, according to the analysis from six department stores with 349 sales staffs in Kaohisung. Analysis of the results will be present in below: First, the relationship between selling skill and job performance has positive correlation and effect significantly, then the satisfy level between selling skill and psychology contract has noticeable positive correlation and effect. The relationship between service attitude and job performance has positive correlation and effect obvious. Besides that, the satisfy level between service attitude and psychology contract also has positive correlation. In addition to, the satisfy level among psychology contract to the selling skill and job performance has intermediate effect partially, and the satisfy level among psychology contract to the service attitude and job performance also has a part of intermediate effect. Finally, the advice has been offered to the department stores, suppliers, sale staffs, and others researchers.

Thematic Research of civil participation Skill-A Case Studey of Kaohsiung City

Wang, Jing-yun 10 September 2001 (has links)
Abstract This research is to distinguish the Kaohsiung City resident by the level of their community sense from the view of social psychology. Due to the society changes and the high living density of urban caused by urbanization, the problems related to the collective life of residents are increasing. Besides, how much do they join the public event also control the success of promoting the collective event. This research is to discuss the community sense and the main effecting factor of different resident attribute and the issue of public event under the increasing of people joining the issue of public event. Furthermore, the suitable participation skill for different community sense and resident attribute is discussed This research expects to construct the suitable people participation skill while the different community sense and resident attribute faces the public event and take it as the reference for people participation in the future. The result shows, that the participation skill of different resident attribute and different issue of public event is clearly related; moreover, the high-low categorization of community sense and the skill of different issue of public event is also related. Additionally, according to the related statistics and analysis, the corrupt practises of current people participation skill are presented; the people participation skill that suitable for the residents of Kaohsiung City and the people participation skill that suitable for different community sense categorization are concluded. Furthermore, the suggestion of people participation and community sense and the comment for the later researcher is presented. Keywords: Sense of community, Civil participation skill, Discussion of public affair.

Comparison of motor-based versus visual sensory representations in object recognition tasks

Misra, Navendu 01 November 2005 (has links)
Various works have demonstrated the usage of action as a critical component in allowing autonomous agents to learn about objects in the environment. The importance of memory becomes evident when these agents try to learn about complex objects. This necessity primarily stems from the fact that simpler agents behave reactively to stimuli in their attempt to learn about the nature of the object. However, complex objects have the property of giving rise to temporally varying sensory data as the agent interacts with the object. Therefore, reactive behavior becomes a hindrance in learning these complex objects, thus, prompting the need for memory. A straightforward approach to memory, visual memory, is where sensory data is directly represented. Another mechanism is skill-based memory or habit formation. In the latter mechanism the sequence of actions performed for a task is retained. The main hypothesis of this thesis is that since action seems to play an important role in simple perceptual understanding it may also serve as a good memory representation. In order to test this hypothesis a series of comparative tests were carried out to determine the merits of each of these representations. It turns out that skill memory performs significantly better at recognition tasks than visual memory. Furthermore, it was demonstrated in a related experiment that action forms a good intermediate representation of the sensory data. This provides support to theories that propose that various sensory modalities can ideally be represented in terms of action. This thesis successfully extends action to the role of understanding of complex objects.

Critical Managerial Activity and Competency of Healthcare CEOs: A Study of Eleven Healthcare Organizations

Chen, Pei-Fen 08 November 2007 (has links)
This study utilized an activity competency model (ACM) to investigate the perceived importance of managerial activities and skills/knowledge required of chief executive officer (CEO) from the healthcare industry. A survey instrument was designed based on the ACM for data collection that encompasses twenty initial managerial activities and fourteen managerial competences required to effectively perform these management activities. These activities were identified through a literature review, job analysis, and iterative personal interviews with domain experts. The results from this study have implications for healthcare management development, training, and management career planning. These results can also serve as guideline for recruiting the right healthcare CEO.
