Klasifikátory proudových otisků / Classifiers of power patterns

Zapletal, Ondřej January 2014 (has links)
Over the last several years side-channel analysis has emerged as a major threat to securing sensitive information in cryptographic devices. Several side-channels have been discovered and used to break implementations of all major cryptographic algorithms (AES, DES, RSA). This thesis is focused on power analysis attacks. A variety of power analysis methods has been developed to perform these attacks. These methods include simple power analysis (SPA), differential power analysis (DPA), template attacks, etc. This work provides comprehensive survey of mentioned methods and also investigates the application of a machine learning techniques in power analysis. The considered learning techniques are neural networks and support vector machines. The final part of this thesis is dedicated to implemenation of the attack against protected software AES implementation which is used in the DPA Contest.

Vliv lázeňského pobytu na obezitu dětí staršího školního věku / The effect of spa treatment in obese school-aged kids

Svoboda, Václav January 2017 (has links)
Title: Impact of spa stay on obesity of older school-aged children. Purpose: Principal purpose of this thesis is to find out and assess the impact of spa stay on obesity of older school-aged children. Methodology: 100 children in the age of 11-15 participated in this inquiry (49 boys, 51 girls, average age 13 years). The children went through the 28-day long reduction treatment in spa facility. At the beginning and end of the therapy the following criteria were assessed: body weight, BMI, volume of body fat, volume of muscle mass, abdominal circumference and tests of agility, endurance and strength (Jacik's motoric test and test of walking for 2 km). During the 4-day treatment the children had the adjusted diet to 5000 KJ, respectively 8000 KJ (by age) and they participated every weekday in group exercise classes and guided walk. Results: The outcomes showed that the spa treatment favourably affected all observed criteria. The decrease of the following criteria of the respondents is statistically significant: body weight decrease (on average by 5,76 kg), decrease of volume of fat tissue (on average 3,36 %) and decrease of abdominal circumference (on average 5,62 cm). At the same time the ratio of children in particular categories of obesity and overweight changed, at the end of the stay, 28,6 %...

GIS Processing on the Web

Knutsson, Erik, Rydhe, Manne January 2022 (has links)
Today more and more advanced and demanding applications are finding their way to the web. These are applications like video editing, games, and mathematical calculations. Up until a few years ago, JavaScript was the only language present on the web. That was until Mozilla, Google, Microsoft, and Apple decided to develop WebAssembly. WebAssembly is a low-level language, similar to assembly, but running in the browser. WebAssembly was not created to replace JavaScript, but to be used alongside it and complement JavaScript’s weaknesses. WebAssembly is still a relatively new language (2017) and is in continuous development. This work is presented as a guideline, and to give a general direction of how WebAssembly is performing (in 2022) when operating on GIS data. When comparing the execution speed of WebAssembly running in different environments (NodeJS, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox), NodeJS was the fastest. The second fastest was Mozilla Firefox, and the slowest was Google Chrome. However, when compared to the native implementation in C++, no environment came close to the developers’ promised 10% slowdown compared to the native code. The average slowdowns found in this study were: The benchmark with small input files ran 63% slower than native. The benchmark with medium input files ran 62% slower than native, and the benchmarks with large input files ran 68% slower than native. The results are comparable to the study [6], which found that the slowdown was around 45% when running WebAssembly on Mozilla Firefox and 55% on Google Chrome with a peak of 2.5 times slowdown compared to native. This study aimed to measure memory usage in the different environments for operations on GIS data. However, the methods used in this study to measure memory proved to be too unsophisticated when dealing with JIT and garbage collection. For future work, a more detailed "memory allocated over time" graph should probably be used to be able to measure the peaks of memory currently allocated to the process instead of looking at the difference in memory before and after.

Jsou lesy v lázních jiné? Historicko-sociologická analýza lázeňských lesů v okolí Karlových Varů / Are the forests in the spa different? Historical - sociological analysis of spa forests in the vicinity of Karlovy Vary

Sabo, Tomáš January 2021 (has links)
The main topic of this diploma thesis is the historical-sociological analysis of spa forests in the surroundings of Carlsbad. More and more people exploit the nature, especially near human settlements. Therefore, there is a question if suburban, or in our case spa forests, wouldn't have according to the law other rights and obligations than other types of forests. The subject of the research is the analysis of the development of Carlsbad spa forests (Lázeňské lesy Karlovy Vary) during their historical development and related social development, which was reflected on the form of the spa forests. The main research initiative is human access to forests in terms of sustainable forestry and ecological balance depending on the natural and social contexts of the area around the city of Carlsbad. The diploma thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, through a careful analysis of the literature and research of sources, there is a historical development of forests with respect to the spa area of the city of Carlsbad. Furthermore, the geomorphological and social description of the researched area with legal, ecological and forestry theory is described as well. The empirical part of the work is focuses on quality research, which was conducted on the basis of...

Nové využití bývalých vojenských areálů v Brně / New use of the former military sites in Brno

Pagáč, Martin Unknown Date (has links)
The aim of the work was to create a concept of land design after the former Jaselské barracks in the locality of Brno-Ponava. The proposal addresses urban ties in the area and their possible use in the coming years. The work is based on the concept of the zoning plan of Brno, where a new street connection is being created between Šumavská and Sportovní streets. A new block of flats is proposed here, containing the functions of housing, services, hotel accommodation and a multifunctional building. This project uses the potential of the area near to the city center and proposes other elements such as a new tram loop, two new streets and a living parterre oriented to the main street with commercial areas. The use of newly created courtyards in the form of front gardens and publicly accessible areas of urban greenery is also addressed here. This will create a new park inside the block itself. The proposal deals in more detail with possible layout solutions and variants of modern living in city center and offers apartments from the smallest sizes to above-standard housing layouts. The buildings facing Štefánikova Street are based on the traditional concept of facades and layouts. On the contrary, the proposed buildings in the eastern and southern part of the complex are based on the modern concept of apartment layouts and structural solutions of individual houses. In several buildings, large accessible galleries are designed, which allow to improve communication between the inhabitants of the house, but also mainly the comfort in using the house. All apartment buildings in the basement are equipped with garages designed for apartment residents. The dominant feature of the whole complex is a designed corner building and an axially mirrored hotel. For the rest of not only the locals, a simple wellness spa facility has been designed here, which gives a different view of our traditional czech spa. To complement the newly created apartments in this locality, there is also a location for a kindergarten, which is designed according to modern teaching methods and as much as possible with a feeling for the needs of little

Vliv lázeňské léčby na změny antropometrických a biochemických parametrů u obézních pediatrických pacientů / The effect of spa treatment on changes of anthropometric and biochemical parameters in obese pediatric patients

Pejšová, Hana January 2021 (has links)
Childhood obesity is currently considered a serious pediatric problem. The main risk of this metabolic disease lies in the shift of comorbidities associated with obesity to ever younger age categories. This is also related to the increasing overall cardiometabolic risk in these obese individuals. Early detection and treatment of childhood obesity is an essential task of pediatrics. The possibility of non-pharmacological treatment of childhood obesity is spa treatment. It consists of intensive reduction therapy, which includes nutritional, physical and educational interventions. The aim of the study was to monitor changes in anthropometric and biochemical parameters after monthly treatment in pediatric patients. Furthermore, to identify and specify selected potential markers of cardiometabolic risk that significantly correlate with BMI and could be useful in children and adolescents. The thesis also focused in detail on two adipocyte hormones - leptin and adiponectin, which already correlate with the amount of adipose tissue in the pediatric population. These hormones could become significant predictive parameters of metabolic syndrome, subclinical atherosclerosis and other comorbidities associated with obesity and cardiovascular risk, already in children. Based on our measurements we can confirm...
