Automatic Frequency Control of Microwave Radiation SourcesPayne, Bobby D. 08 1900 (has links)
Resonant cavity controlled klystron frequency stabilization circuits and quartz-crystal oscillator frequency stabilization circuits were investigated for reflex klystrons operating at frequencies in the X-band range. The crystal oscillator circuit employed achieved better than 2 parts in 10 in frequency stability. A test of the functional properties of the frequency standard was made using the Stark effect in molecules.

Rytmická stabilizace dle Kabata a její srovnání s technikou prováděnou v praxi. / Comparison of rhythmic stabilization according to Kabat with the techniques used in practice.Horáková, Klára January 2013 (has links)
Title: Comparison of rhythmic stabilization according to Kabat with the techniques used in practice. Objectives: The main aim of this thesis was to measure and compare the level of muscle activity and the level of cocontraction of Muscle quadratus lumborum sinister, obliquus internus abdominis sinister, rectus abdominis sinister and dexter obliquus externus abdominis, which were exposed to different stabilization techniques - rhythmic stabilization and technique used in practice - technique "pushing". Methods: This is an experimental study which is analyzed and then assessing the level of cocontraction of antagonists and the degree of muscle strength in two different ways- the technique of PNF and technique pushing. We use a surface electromyography as an objectification method. The sample consisted of 7 probands. Results: It was discovered that left side lying position not enlarged to the level of activity of all muscles required, therefore the muscles involved in PNF diagonals. Prerequisite increased level of activation during rhythmic stabilization technique according to Kabat was confirmed only in m. quadratus lumborum sinister and m. obliquus externus abdominis dexter and the values statistically insignificant. Participation of the rectus abdominis though its dominant and statistically...

Vliv DNS na sílu záběru u rychlostních kajakářů / Influence of DNS to kayak power StrokeDavídek, Pavel January 2014 (has links)
The thesis deals with the possibility to influence the maximum power of kayaking stroke by the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization approach. The most common injuries sustained during kayaking are affecting shoulders. The aim of this thesis was kinesiological analysis of kayaking movement. It shows patterns of shoulder muscles activity during the paddling cycle. Finally the thesis describes the Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization approach. Methods: Subjects were 20 flat water kayakers (mean age 21,85 +/- 2,37), which were randomized divided into two groups. Training of experimental group contained exercise according Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization approach. Specific exercise was chosen with DASH questionnaire. The same questionnaire was used at the end of the six weeks study to see the changes in the problems of the upper limb activity. The effect of the therapy was compared by maximum power of kayaking stroke, which was measured by paddling ergometer. Both groups were tested four times in 6 weeks. We followed also the actual effect of the therapy of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization by measuring maximum power before therapy and immediately after exercise. Results: Maximum power of the stroke increased of 6,3% (p = 0,032) in experimental group. We found the positive effect of the actual...

Proximální dynamická stabilizace ramenního pletence a její vliv na sílu akrálních svalů horní končetiny / The effect of proximal dynamic stabilizazion on hand muscle strengthDzvoník, Ján January 2012 (has links)
The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of dynamic stabilizing strategy on handgrip and pinchgrip strength. Exercise utilized in this study was based on rehabilitative approach called Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) - a developmental kinesiology approach. The exercise program consisted of four primal developmental positions (3½ month supine position, oblique sitting position with support on forearm, position on all fours, and the "bear" position). A study file consisted of ten females who were instructed in basic scheme of DNS exercise. They were instructed to exercise at home five times weekly for a 6- weeks period. One exercise lesson took about thirty minutes. Both handgrip and pinchgrip strength was measured using the digital dynamometer CITEC CT 3001 recording maximum voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC). Three-pinch grip strength and fist grip strength was measured for both upper extremities. Fist grip strength was measured in three positions of forearm (pronation, supination and neutral position). Overall eight variables (for each extremity, grip form and position of the forearm) measured before and after exercise program were compared using the paired t-test. Significant increase in muscle strength (p<0,05) was identified for all eight variables after a 6 weeks exercise...

Neste trabalho, generalizamos duas famílias de cortes duais recentemente publicadas e analisamos o impacto computacional desses cortes duais sobre a convergência do Método Simplex / The cutting stock problem consists of cutting large available objects in stock to produce a quantity of ordered smaller itens, in such a way as to optimize a given objective function. A linear optmizatim model has been widely used to solve this problem since the 60s, in which part of a combinatorial structure of the problem is embedded. The columns of the constraint matrix are generated in each iteration of the Simplex Method, called the column generation technique. Although, the Simplex Method is widely used, it has a low convergence near to optimality. In this way, strategies to accelerate the Simplex Method are welcome which can be obtained by adding dual cuts (primal columns). The goal of this work is to study published dual cuts and to proposed others. In this book us extend two families of dual cuts, which were recently published, and analyse the computational impact of these dual cuts on the converge of the Simplex Method
