The Masters thesis is focused on analysis of the selected company PKS okna a.s. The overal situation of the company is assessed, based on examination of its external and internal environments. Its financial situation is evaluated using Kralicek Quick test. The conclusion is that there are suggestions of improving the current situation.

The goal of the thesis is to formulate recommendations based on results of performed analyses and to suggest measures for improvement of the current state. Among the chosen methods of analysis are: PESTLE analysis, fundamental analysis, Kralick Quicktest, ratio analysis and SWOT analysis. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part, in which the characteristics of the chosen analysis methods are explained, and a practical part which deals with their processing. The thesis includes analyses of SLEPTE, Porter ´s five forces model, fundamental analysis, Kralicek ´s Quick test, chosen indexes of finance analysis and SWOT analysis. This Diploma thesis deals with the analysis of risks and benefits that may occur when trading in selected international markets. The aim of this thesis is to suggest appropriate measures to eliminate risks. In the theoretical part, problem of international trade is defined and important concepts of the risk management are explained. The practical part analysis the internal and external environment of the company and its market position compared to the competition. Furthermore, the situation on the market is evaluated in economic, political, legal and cultural perspective. Various economic and risk-management methods are beeing used for the evaluation. Based on the results of analysis the markets are ranked from the most suitable to the least suitable for international trade.
