The aim of this diploma thesis is to create a draft business plan for establishing a small company that trades in information and communication technology in the town of Moravský Krumlov. The diploma thesis is divided into three linked parts – theoretical, analytical and the draft. The basic notions and terms are defined in the theoretical part. The analytical part – by means of strategic analysis – examines microeconomic and macroeconomic relations, i.e. the overall situation and market preconditions. The draft presents the business plan itself, i.e. the description of the company; its vision and mission; business, marketing and organisational plans; risk evaluation; and the financial aspects of the business plan.

The first part, entitled The Newest Theoretical Data, is devoted to a proposal of the methods, analyses and elements of marketing communication that are essential for the creation of a marketing plan. The analytical part of the thesis involves the individual analyses that form the basis for the following part, entitled My Proposals for a Solution. In the chapter My Proposals and Solutions, I subsequently put forth a comprehensive marketing plan that would lead to the attain-ment of the company’s specific goals.
