Tolentino Tolentino-Krous, Frey Yuri Mahesh 14 November 2019 (has links)
Currently, the Peruvian gym industry attracts a very small audience, despite the growth in this category. Despite the great efforts of the gym chains, in Lima, less than 2% of the population affirm to work out constantly; thus, an opportunity to attract customers is high. For this reason, gym chains are carrying out a wide variety of strategies in each of the marketing mix variables, mainly promotional. Regarding the research methodology, due to the nature of the segment, it has a mixed focus, using as tools focus groups, semi-structured interviews and surveys. The population selected for the research are young people between 18 and 30 years old (the millennials), who belong to zone 7 of the Metropolitan Lima. The data processing consists of the alignment of the results obtained using the identified theory, with a previous stage of validation, ensuring that the resulting information is useful and relevant. This gives way to the analysis of the correlations identified between the variables. The results affirm that the strategies applied by the gyms have a good level of significance for the target audience, with an implication among the variables that work. The general conclusion is that the marketing mix strategies used by gym chains do influence the purchase decision in gym chains, although some authors claim that in some cases it is not true. / Trabajo de investigación

Santa Cruz Vásquez, Ana Lucía 23 November 2019 (has links)
In the following research work, we sought in the first instance to know how the current market for catalog sales is to understand what are the growth barriers they have to migrate towards a more digital sale, in this case towards electronic commerce to people who have purchased by Metropolitan Lima catalog. In order to solve and understand the problem, an explanatory study of a non-experimental type was carried out through a mixed method, using two approaches: qualitative and quantitative. The tools used in the first part were in-depth interviews with specialists and focus group to frequent users of catalog purchases. For the second part, 250 people of the target analyzed were found. The investigation gave interesting and quite important results for decision-making, as well as the next strategies that catalog sales companies could take to apply in the future, on the other hand, the importance of sales consultants within of this sales model, although this market has declined the proposal is to investigate new platforms that empower this market as one of the most productive in the country. The importance of having carried out this research is based on giving a broader panorama and the possibility of giving companies catalog sales strategies and focus to new digital platforms to create a greater brand-consumer relationship with the sales consultant and generate greater sales with the user. “ Shedding light on the influence of Covid-19 on online consumer behavior: A               qualitative study in the context of the clothing industry in Sweden.” : “ A qualitative study in the context of the clothing industry in Sweden”.

Jenny, Afrin Akter, Kumarage, Menali Hasini January 2022 (has links)
The Covid-19 pandemic outbreak has caused social destruction all across the world. In this thesis, we focus on the impact of Covid-19 on online consumer behavior. Understanding whatis generating these behavioral changes among online shoppers is essential, but it is even moreimportant to investigate and assess if these behavioral changes will persist among onlineshoppers beyond the pandemic. In this study, the primary objective is to examine changes inthe online consumer behavior of the Swedish ready-made clothing industry in response toCovid-19 and determine if these changes will affect future online shopping intentions using thetheory of planned behavior. We thus pay attention to three key components: subjective norms, attitudes, and behavioral controls. We conducted a qualitative study and gathered rich insightsthrough 10 semi-structured interviews with online clothing shoppers in Sweden. The findingsdemonstrate that participants' intentions to shop online in the future are predominantly impactedby factors such as perceived behavioral control, attitude toward behavior, and media, rather thansubjective norms factors like family and friends. Furthermore, in the post-pandemic era, behavioral patterns related to online clothes purchases have changed significantly due to issuesassociated with Covid-19.
