Eglynų ir beržynų žūtį įtakojančių medyno rodiklių analizė / The analysis of indicator impacting death of fir woods and bird woods

Kazlauskas, Vytautas 15 June 2006 (has links)
Work object – Vyžuona river, which has 26 km lenght, is left affluent of Šventoji river, belongs to subbasin of Šventoji river and runs from northeast to southwest of Lithuania. Work aim – identify water quality and bounded with it live organisms of Vyžuona river. Work tasks analyse physical-chemical water parameters of Vyžuona river, identify varietal composition of organisms, define and evaluate contamination of river objects. Work results – After the reasearch was made there was defined that Vyžuona river in Utena town (1 km from Krašuona river and Vieša river junction) belongs to average contaminated rivers category measuring by parameters of water quality: common nitrogen quantity 1.9 times exceeds permissible quotas, 68.6 % of common nitrogen is composed of nitrate nitrogen, BDS7 quantity 2,7 times exceeds the LDK, concentration of phosphates 2.3 times exceeded permissible quotas. Krašuona river and Vieša river runs trough private houses section, which has no central sewer and that is the reason why mentioned rivers are bearing domestic contaminants into Vyžuona river. According to 2004-2006 data below the outlet from drain mechanism of UAB „Utenos vandenys“ refinement system there was found concentration of phosphorus which averagely 1,75 times, common nitrogen 1,1 times and BDS71,7 times less in comparison with river part in centre of Utena town above UAB „Utenos vandenys“. That may be explained by UAB „Utenos vandeys“ affect, which drains large amount of enough... [to full text]

Savaiminis žėlimas eglynuose priklausomai nuo jų struktūros / Self regeneration spruce dependence of stand structure

Gervelis, Deimantas 14 January 2009 (has links)
Work subject – Undergrowth of spruce stands in Lithuanian forests. Work objective – To estimate forest grows in itself of spatial structure in spruce stand. Work methods: Data analyses of forest inventory and temporary of free space in forest, mathematical statistics methods. Work results. Was made analyses of spruce undergrowth quantity in different forest site type, age, growing stock and free space size in forest. It was established that 20 % of older then 40 years spruce forests has undergrowth. The biggest amount of growth was found in Ld and Nb forest site types. When age is growing in 4 – 12 age class of spruce the undergrowth quantity is growing too. It is ascertain that undergrowth quantity is rise up when growing stock is felling down. Undergrowth quantity variations of 12 to 17 thous.units/ha when free space size in forest variation of 2 to 10 are.

Ugdymo kirtimų projektavimas ir vertinimas / Planning and estimation of forest thinning

Banys, Tomas 09 June 2005 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to explore haw thinning planning standards agree with standards of estimation. Study was carried out in Kretinga forest enterprise Grūšlaukė forestry. Study of ratio of stands medial diameter and medial high was carried out in 11 – 60 years old pure spruce. The main purpose of thinning is to increase total productivity of forest stands and to form desirable structure and closeness of stands. It is important that all kinds of forest thinning concern biodiversity, increase resistance to wind and snow damage of forest stands, improve the quality of growing timber. Forests thinning use that timber part which rots in forests and gives no profit. To reach all these purpose forests thinning must be planned. Planning standard must be definite as it possible. It is important that these standards be suit with forests thinning normative. It was estimated that both standards has different rates and they are not matched. Thinning is planning by thickness of stands, but they are estimating by the number of trees in one hectare of stands. It was estimated that the ratio of forest stands medial diameter and medial high can be used in thinning planning. In pure spruce stands thinning must planned until ratio of medial diameter and medial high reach value: 0,8 in 11 – 20 years old stands; 0,9 in 21 – 40 years old stands; 1,0 in 41 – 60 years old stands.
