Rozvoj komunikace u dětí s poruchou autistického spektra a kochleárním implantátem / Communication development in children with autism spectrum disorder and cochlear implant

Vovsová, Alena January 2020 (has links)
The thesis deals with the communication development in deaf children after cochlear implantation, which have at the same time diagnosed autism spectrum disorder. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. First two chapters deal with specifics of hearing impairment, or rather autism spectrum disorder, and its effects on the overall development of the child with an emphasis on communication ability. There are briefly introduced the classification of hearing impairments and compensation aids related to the topic of the work - hearing aids and cochlear implants. There is also space devoted to the characteristics of particular autism spectrum disorders. The third chapter describes the most common communication systems or aids used by persons with hearing disabilities, more precisely with the autism spectrum disorder, and the possibility of communication of people with a combination of these two disabilities. The practical part of the thesis is devoted to qualitative research, which main objective was to find out how obtaining a cochlear implant may influence the development of communication of a deaf child with autism spectrum disorder. As part of the research, interviews with parents of these children were conducted. These interviews were supplemented by open-ended questionnaires addressed...

Pokročilé fluorescenční metody aplikované ve výzkumu biomolekul (lipidových membrán a DNA) / Advanced fluorescence techniques applied on biomolecules (lipid membranes and DNA)

Beranová, Lenka January 2013 (has links)
The thesis describes time dependent fluorescence shift method and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy method (FCS) with its extensions FLCS, Z-scan FCS and dual-focus FCS applied on specific problems in DNA and lipid research. Compaction mechanism of a DNA molecule smaller than a resolution of a confocal microscope was elucidated. The process was revealed to be "all or non" for a polycation spermine as a condenser in contrast with the gradual compaction caused by a cationic surfactant. Biophysical properties of a phospholipid bilayer influenced by presence of oxidized phospholipids with truncated sn-2 chain were explored. The dynamics of hydrated functional groups in the headgroup region was proved to get faster while the hydration of the headgroup region increased. These effects are in relation with the reorientation of the short sn-2 chains observed in molecular dynamics simulations. Presence of oxidized species may also influence the lateral diffusion of the lipids - a slight increase of the diffusion coefficient was observed. Decrease of hydration and mobility in the headgroup region was found as an influence of heavy water on the phospholipid membrane. These finding are in line with molecular dynamics simulations which show longer lifetimes of hydrogen bonds between water and lipid molecules in...

In the literature review the theoretical background of the topic and current research findings based on the literature are described. The empirical part is conceived as a qualitative research. The goal is to monitor the change in the behavior of parents and their children with ASD when practicing hand washing after using two different ways of parent training - behavioral skills training and video manual. The method of data collection was an observation of video recordings provided by families which were assessed by two observers using an evaluation checklist. Furthermore, the data were supplemented with information from a questionnaire which was used to receive feedback from the participants. The results of the research map the progress of each participating parent and child in hand washing procedure according to the principles of ABA. The conclusions can be the foundation for future research to create a suitable parent training model in practice of daily living skills in children with ASD. Keywords Applied behavior analysis; Autism spectrum disorder; Behavior skills training; Daily living skills;...

Lukšicová, Terézia January 2021 (has links)
The diploma thesis focuses on interaction between siblings in pre-school age, with the older sibling being impacted by an autistic spectrum disorder, while the younger sibling has not been diagnosed with the disorder. The theoretical part of the thesis analyses contemporary scientific findings related to this topic. It provides theoretical bases of the autistic spectrum disorder and provides information on the relationship between the siblings. An individual chapter discusses the healthy sibling and its development. The last section of the theoretical part analyses the interaction between the two siblings. Main attention is given to features which infiltrate into the relationship of the siblings and influence it. This part also examines potential methods which are to be used to improve the quality of interaction between the siblings. The empirical part consists of two researches, a quantitative one and the supplementary qualitative research. The goal of the quantitative research was to identify how certain specifics of interaction are impacted by the sincerity of problematic behavior of the sibling diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorder. The results proved a significant positive correlation between the sincerity of problematic behavior and the amount of conflicts occurring between the siblings....
