Vliv vrozených hyperkoagulačních stavů na hladinu D-d se zaměřením na gravidní ženy

ŠTÍCHOVÁ, Zuzana January 2017 (has links)
The thesis analyses the female patients' data from Clinical hematology department in České Budějovice hospital from year 2014 to 2015 and tries to statistically confirm connection between D-dimer level and hypercoagulable states described in previous bachelor thesis. D-dimer assay is due to negative predictive value and high sensitivity an initial laboratory test to rule out tromboembolic disease. However, it has low specificity. The elevated level of D-dimer is observed in conditions like infection, trauma, acute cancer, recent surgery or pregnancy and last studies showed increased D-dimer level even in combination with inherited hypercoagulable states. Thus, it is necessary to analyse the level of D-dimer in pregnant women related to specific hypercoagulable states. Moreover, the thesis analyses the influence of other factors like anticoagulation therapy on D-dimer level and tries to find connection between D-dimer level and pregnancy associated complication, birth weight or a type of delivery.

Vliv dopravně technického stavu silnice I. třídy č. 3 v rámci okresu Český Krumlov na předcházení mimořádných událostí v silničním provozu / Influences of the technical condition of road no 3 in the district of Czech Krumlov at preventing incidents on the road.

ONDRUŠKA, Jiří January 2014 (has links)
The creation of the safe traffic zone is a long term issue requiring often significant investments, which municipalities or regional governments are not able to cover within their own budget. Despite complex programs to initiate measures on increasing of the road safety have not been launched yet. One of significant parameters of the safe traffic zone is occurrence of solid obstacles in the immediate vicinity of a road (such as tall trees, billboards placed without a permit etc.), which afterwards influence the seriousness of consequences of the accident. The content and the aim of this diploma written assignment is to find out the actual impact of the transport and technical conditions of the first-class road No. 3 in the Český Krumlov District on the occurrence of incidents in the road traffic which can be found out by analysis of the causes and the effects of the incidents in the specific accidents sites and mapping of the current transport and technical conditions of this relatively loaded road due to heavy traffic. To fulfill the aim of the written assignment, the method of critical analysis, which studies the problem in more complex way and is not satisfied with the simple explanation, was used. With its application I tried to find an answer to the question whether the mentioned road fulfills the forgiving and the self-explanatory road function in all aspects and at those to propose an optimal solution to prevent eventually to mitigate of incidents. In case that the achieved goals of this diploma written assignment will be by the owner of the mentioned road respectively the property administrator and the competent road administration office used to make certain measures leading to lowering of the amount of accidents then the elaboration has fulfilled its purpose. By my opinion every driver has a right to move in the safe traffic zone. Duration and development of the state that we live in will not do without a functioning road system and that is why the current system should be first of all maintained by the state, renewed, expanded and made to perfection because feeling safe on roads is a right and a responsibility of each and one of us.

Možnosti prevence s využitím geriatrických principů: Funkční stav a depresivita ve stáří / Possibilities of prevention reflecting geriatric principles: Functional status and depressivity in old age

Vaňková, Hana January 2015 (has links)
Possibilities of prevention reflecting geriatric principles: Functional status and depressivity in old age Hana Vaňková, MD Abstract Background: Given the population ageing in Europe and in the Czech Republic, strategies aiming to prevent functional decline in older age are of great importance. Depression in old age increases functional decline and is also associated with increased morbidity, mortality and deterioration of quality of life (Anstey et al., 2007; Karakaya et al., 2009). Therefore, there is a need for a comprehensive intervention addressing both functional status and depressive symptoms. Methods: Using comprehensive geriatric assessment, the relationship between functional status and depressive symptoms was examined in 308 residents of long-term care facilities (RCFs) in the Czech Republic. Depressive symptoms were measured using the 15-item Geriatric Depression Scale. An additional randomized control trial (RCT) evaluated the effect of a dance-based therapy on depressive symptoms in 162 institutionalized older adults with average age over 80 years. Results: A multiple regression analyses adjusted for sociodemographic factors and for taking antidepressants found that cognitive function and functional limitation by pain were most strongly associated with depressive symptoms. The ability to...

Imunofenotypizace pacientů s HPV-asociovanými a neasociovanými karcinomy hlavy a krku / Immunoprofiling in patients with HPV-associated and non-associated head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

Lukešová, Eva January 2014 (has links)
Head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) remain a significant cause of morbidity worldwide, with approximately 550,000 new cases diagnosed each year. The main etiological factors include smoking and alcohol consumption. The incidence of non-oropharyngeal HNSCC is gradually decreasing while the incidence of squamous cell oropharyngeal carcinoma (OPSCC) is still on the rise. This increasing incidence can be most likely attributed to an increasing prevalence of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. From the clinical point of view the most significant fact is that patients with HPV positive OPSCC have better prognosis. HNSCC is linked to an alteration in the immune system. Only a limited number of studies have correlated both the immunological parameters and HPV status with patient prognosis. Therefore, we focused on the research of the immunological profile of patients with HNSCC of viral and non-viral etiology. In our study, 110 patients with HNSCC were enrolled. They were divided into HPV-positive and HPV-negative groups based on the expression of HPV 16 E6 mRNA detected in the tumor tissue. Basic lymphocyte subpopulations (CD3+, CD4+ CD25+ Treg, CD4+ CD25+ FoxP3 Treg, CD4+, CD8+, CD19, and CD3- CD16+ CD56+ cells) were determined by flow cytometry in the peripheral blood (PB). We observed...

Specifics and partial aspects of sports environments are presented in the third chapter. Definition of performance in football and the possibility of its measurement are defined in a separate section. Relationship between the pre- match emotional state of footballers and their performance in the match are verified in the empirical part of thesis. Comparison of footballers with general population is particular part of analysis. The study results showes significant but weak correlations between emotional state of football players and their performance in the match. Difference was found between certain emotions and personalities of football players and the general population. Keywords: personality of athlete, emotional state, football performance, psychological preparation in sport

Druhotné pohlavní ornamenty a ektoparazité vlaštovky obecné (Hirundo rustica) / Secondary sexual ornaments and ectoparasites in the barn swallow (Hirundo rustica)

Wichová, Eliška January 2017 (has links)
Parasites could represent an important evolutionary driver and play an important role in a sexual selection. In the mate selection process, females use secondary sexual ornaments, which may reflect the parasite load and health condition of males. Females would benefit from choosing males with the most extravagant sexual characters, which indicate low levels of parasite infestation. A popular model species for sexual selection study is the barn swallow (Hirundo rustica). However there are no recent studies investigating the relationship between the level of the ectoparasitic infestation and the ornamentation of the barn swallow. Results of this thesis, based on analysis of ectoparasite load in 204 individuals show, that the level of infestation by feather mites is positively correlated with outermost tail feathers and the intensity of feather holes is negatively correlated with a breast coloration. The relationship between the abundance of ectoparasites and white tail spots was not found. The effect of ectoparasites on the survival of individuals or the nest initiation date was not observed. A possitive relationship between the individual seasonal change in feather mites infestation and brood size was detected. This implies a potential trade-off between the investments into parental care and defence...

Ohrožení pod vlivem návykové látky / Threat under the influence of addictive substance

Micka, Martin January 2017 (has links)
EN: The misdemeanor of endangering under the influence of addictive substance is one of the most frequently occurring criminal offenses that the Czech society encounters. I have divided my thesis into nine chapters. The first chapter deals with elements of the criminal offense under the influence of addictive substance as divided by legal theory. The second chapter describes the issue of the unlawfulness of the deed. The third chapter deals with an analysis of qualifying circumstances that legislature provided in the second paragraph of the misdemeanor of endangerment under the influence of drugs. The fourth chapter describes the issue and the conditions of participation of persons other than the principal perpetrator of the deed. The sixth chapter deals with the most common criminal offenses that occur along with the abovementioned misdemeanor. The seventh chapter is devoted to the new phenomenon of proving a condition that excludes competence in cases of influencing other addictive substance. In the eighth chapter I focus on the issue of showing of various types of sentences with regard to current practice in relation to sentencing for the deed in question under Section 274 of the Criminal Code. The ninth chapter describes various forms of so-called special methods of proceedings which are used in the...

Textilní produkce ve střední a pozdní době bronzové na řecké pevnině a v západní Anatolii / Middle and Late Bronze Age Textile Production on the Greek Mainland and in Western Anatolia

Staničová, Jana January 2017 (has links)
This thesis is concerned with textile production in Middle and Late Bronze Age on the Greek continent and western Anatolia. First part explains the description of methodology of approach to textile manifacture in the studied area, followed by description and properties of threads used to weave the cloths, as well as technologies used in their making. Terms related to textile are mentioned on clay tablets with linear writing B, hence the thesis engages in their interpretation and comparison between particular centres. Second part analyses tools used in textile manifacture, namely whorls and loom weights based on their shape. Then follows topographic overview of the most prominent localities of textile manifacture in which textile-making tools were found. Localities not included in the overview are mentioned in the table. The overview describes locality, number and types of whorls and loom weights and what materials are they made of. Whenever possible, the most important specification is mentioned - the weight - based on which the type of weaved textile is described. The aim of the thesis is to create overview of localities with tools used in textile making as well as their analysis and comparison. Collected data are converted into tables, graphs and maps. In the last part called discussion,...
