The aim of the thesis is the project of the process layout of the Motocentre in Ledenice. The project of the premises is elaborated in two versions from which one is chosen and finished to the documentation stage ready for releasing the building licence. Special attention is paid to the equipment, size of the areas needed and special demands during the manipulation with the vehicles in order to keep standard requirements and good accessibility. The construction is designed for a concrete lot in the village of Ledenice which is defined for industrial production by the territorial plan. In the thesis, are introduced all important requirements which are necessary to follow during designing; requirements for project documentation of the construction and individual acts preceding the works.

Institute of Right to Build in Czech and German Law The thesis deals with the topic of the institute of right to build in Czech and German law. The elementary aim of the thesis is to describe the legal institute of right to build, not only in the Czech legal system, but also in the German legal system. The right to build is an absolute property right with effect erga omnes. It belongs into a group of rights, which privileges one to use a thing of someone else. The statute declares the right to build to be real property. On the ground of the right to build arises the right of the builder to have a building on the surface or under the surface of the encumbered piece of land. The right to build is always limited through a set period of time, it should not be created for longer than 99 years. The typical features of the right to build are alienability and inheritability. The content of this thesis is divided into four chapters. The nature of right to build, as a right, which privileges one to use the thing of someone else, is described in the first chapter. The thesis is focused on institute called right to build and other possibilities to build on somebody else's land in accordance with Civil Code effective since 1. 1. 2014. It also defines important terms connected to the right to build, its history on Czech territory and its foreign form which can be used as source of inspiration for future practice. Part of the thesis deals with unauthorized structures on somebody else's land which are built on the land without a legal reason.

This master thesis deals with the flood maps and their use in the Czech insurance. The aim is to determine how these maps were created, in which insurance industry they are used, how they are accessing domestic insurers and whether their use is sufficiently effective. The first part deals with the theory of property insurance and the creation of flood maps. The second part deals with the use of flood maps in the current insurance practice. In the third part are outlined possible solutions to the current problematic situation in this area. At the end is a summary of the whole work and individual recommendations.

The thesis studies the possibilities of cultural animation of unused sacral monuments, especially churches. The theoretical part is searching for the reasons of the current poor condition of these buildings that have lost their regular liturgical function. The aim is to describe the position of religion and sacredness in the contemporary Czech society. It reviews the concept of cultural animation and its application on the specific case of the church. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the Karlovy Vary region, which was affected by the social discontinuity as a result of the post-war expulsion of Germans. There are many abandoned and ruined churches due to this reason. As a particular example of a successful animation is described Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary in Skoky by Žlutice and its animation activities initiated by members of the association Pod střechou.

The doctoral thesis pays attention to the system approach to the nonstationary computational modelling of heat transfer for energy saving buildings. The created computational tool supports the optimization of selected design parameters.

The thesis deals with the solution of the technologies of rough constructions. The content of this work of realization of a residential building in Prague. For the diploma thesis I elaborated a technological regulation, a timetable, a control and a test plan, as well as health and safety.

The diploma thesis focuses on reconstruction of the supermarket in city called Lelekovice. There are two different options of reconstruction. First option includes saving the old building and then do reconstruction and extension. For this case is made itemized budget according to project documentation. Second option is based on building totally new object including demolition the old one. Price of this option is based on itemized budget and budget indicator. In the end these two options are compared and evaluated.

The title of this master´s thesis is the elaboration of a design for a newly builded building of civil importance - a cultural center. Object is 3 storey, situated on the flat plot in the wider center of Trencin. The center includes a concert hall and facilities for training and recording musical productions. The concert hall forms the left part of the building and consists of a stage, adjacent auditoriums with 352 seats, communication spaces and backgrounds for needs of performance. On the right side there are facilities for testing and recording of music with its own facilities, an entrance hall with a café and a seating area. The construction system consists of a monolithic vertical and horizontal RC structure, complemented in a concert hall with a beam ceiling. The roof is flat in 2 levels, the facade and the envelope of the building is a combination of glass facade and the ETICS insulation system, the highest part of the building is created by cetris tiles. Drawing part is drawn in AutoCAD, other programs used (eg to calculate physical properties of structures etc.) are DEKsoft, WDLS.

Diploma thesis studies historical bonding agents on the base of geopolymers. The aim of the thesis is to find a proper material composition, especially made of natural clay materials (kaolinite, bentinite) and their modifications (metakaoline). These bonding agents have to have a suitable type of an activator that guarantees good bonding properties. Therefore testing of various kinds of alkaline activating ingredients on the same mineral composition was done. Except of usual hydroxides and a water glass, ancient natrons (mixtures of alkaline carbonate with addition of appropriate chlorides) and a lime mash were used as the activators. From the above mentioned mixtures, series of samples (columns 20 x 20 x 100 mm) stored at the laboratory temperature were prepared. In the prepared mashes, their workableness and moulding were investigated. In the developed samples, their surface appearance was observed together with a number of efflorescence and its types. An indivisible part of the research was formed by determination of mechanical properties of the experimental columns such as a compressive strength and a tensile strength in bending. Furthermore, phase composition of the samples and its changes with a temperature increase were investigated. For these tests, XRD and TG – DTA methods were used. A multi-seat isoperbolic calorimeter was used to study hydratation that was also the important part of the general evaluation of designed mixtures.
