Výstavní pavilon / Exhibition Pavilion

Očadlík, Martin January 2017 (has links)
The aim of the final thesis was to design and check the steel loadbearing structure of the exhibition pavilon. The basis for the structural design was a specified building layout. The assessment of the structure was made according to valid czech and european standards, including the system of "Eurocodes". Construction is situated in Zlin. The rectangular plan of the building is 45,0 m wide and 48,0 m long. The peripheral field of the roof is flat, while the central field is designed as a barrel roof. Main truss was designed with 6,0 m centre to centre distance. Structural design of the main loadbearing elements was made by the Dlubal RFEM v.5.07 software. Selected structure elements, including joints and column anchors were verified manualy.

Přepočet a variantní návrh ocelové konstrukce zastřešení zimního stadionu v Jihlavě / Static verification and variant design of roof structure of winter sport stadium in Jihlava city

Růžička, Tomáš January 2017 (has links)
Object of this master thesis is the static verification and variant desing of roof structure of winter sport stadium in Jihlava city. The ground plan dimensions are 60 x 84 m The current structure is composite of truss main girders with parabolic lower chords, and purlins. Axial distances of main girders are 12m. Concrete columns are a support to main girders. The variant desing of roof uses truss girders and truss purlins. They are supported on existing concrete columns. All load bearing members of existing and new design structure have been evaluated according to actual normative rules. The static assessment of the existing structure is not satisfied from viewpoint of ultimate and serviceability limit states (in some elements). The static assessment of the new structure is satisfied from the viewpoint of both limit states.

Studie styčníků rámových ocelových konstrukcí / Study of joints of frame steel structures

Cikánek, Ondřej January 2017 (has links)
Master's thesis „Study of joints of frame steel structures“ examine certain analysis types of frame steal joints, which are analysed both by component method and by specialized software IDEA RS. Obtained results are compared by both methods, in terms of load-bearing capacity and in terms of stiffness. Theoretical joints stiffness calculation according to standard ČSN EN 1993-1-8 is included in the introductory part of the thesis. In the second part, joints are designed to bear inner forces and moments, which were created by load combination effects and then analysed.

Erikanders, Jens, Olsson, Oskar January 2022 (has links)
Design for Environment diskuterades även. / Summary Global warming is a commonly known problem based on the amount of greenhouse gas emissions; a change is therefore necessary for important ecosystems not to be disrupted. The steel industry sector accounts for the largest environmental impact of Swedish industry, which makes it one of the most important areas for improvements to be made [1]. To reduce the environmental impact, a method is required which also lowers the cost of the product. This study resulted in a methodology by using proven methods and comparing against a reference construction. The following methods that were used to satisfy the customer requirements and striving towards environmental and economic sustainability were: Topology optimization, modular construction, Design for Manufacture and Assembly, Lean Construction, Design for Environment was discussed. A situation analysis was preformed to create a basis for the implementation of the methods. Application of the methods was carried out by mapping the concepts in an environment-cost-diagram with the reference. The methods were evaluated by interpreting the diagram and Pughs matrix, the evaluation resulted in a methodology that was applied through a final concept. The work resulted in a methodology, which is presented in a shortend verision: (1) Clear customer requirements; (2) several concepts with the goal of reducing variation and simplifying; (3) evaluating the concept's possibilities for modularization; (4) over all best concepts is selected; (5) Stress Analysis on the selected concept to make adjustment on oversized parts; (6) apply DfMA advise, reduce the number of parts that require lifting equipment during assembly. The method was validated by creating a concept with the final methodology. The concept met the same requirements as the reference construction. Part of the reference construction has eariler been made concepts of, which led to ideas of the earlier made concepts were taken on to the final concept. This led to certain margin of error in the validation. If other reference constructions were available, validation could’ve be done differently.

Rozhledna / Lookout tower

Jedzoková, Patricie January 2022 (has links)
The object of the diploma thesis is design and assessment of a steel lookout tower situated in Beskydy mountains. Two different variants were designed. The first variant is of square shaped plan and the second one is of hexagonal shaped plan. Both variants are spatial truss structures. They are shaped as hourglass. The variants were compared and the first one was chosen to be further developed. The lookout tower is 36 meters high and it is divided by floors. One floor is 3,6 meters high. The widest section is 8 meters, the narrowest section is 5 meters wide. The structure is pin-supported into concrete foundation. The concrete is class C25/30. The roof covering is made of trapezoidal sheet of class S280GD. Each steel element is made of steel of class S355.

Vacatová, Eliška January 2022 (has links)
The thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the roof of the train station. This structure is located in Brno. The plan shape of the structure is rectangular. In the transverse direction, the structure is designed as an arch of 150 m length and the distance of transverse ties is 20 m. At the highest point, the rise of the arch is 30 m. In the longitudinal direction, the structure is 200 m long. In this paper, three variants of the structure are compared.
