Gifted and talented youth are major national resources. With the supportive and appropriate help of society they can develop their intellectual abilities and successfully work in a certain domain. Psychologist’s duty should be helping parents and teachers to identify the child’s abilities and explain them what role in the development of human potential play intelligence, social environment and emotions. The following paper for the Master degree analyzes specifics of giftedness and its identifying problems. Psychological peculiarities of children gifted for music and visual arts are being discussed too. The aim of the Research is to analyze the intelligence, behavior and emotional problems of talented 14-16 years old teenagers and to compare the results with the same age ordinary teenager’s intellect and behavior. The paper also compares the results of children gifted for music and the results of children gifted for visual arts. „International Handbook of Giftedness and Talent“ second edition (2000) written by Heller, Monks, Sternberg, Subotnik, the articles by Winner, Martino, Feldhusen, Jarwan, Heller, Schofield served the job as literature base. Faculty of Public Health, Kaunas University of Medicine. - Kaunas, 2005.-P.62 Management emphasizes managerial human skills as essential leadership skills. Aim of study. To assess human skills of the managers in health care institutions. Objectives. · Assess human skills of health care managers in institution and importance of it. · Compare managerial human skills among different types of managers Methods. 35 questions anonymous questionnaire have been used. All managers in organization have been surveyed. Statistic data analysis has been made, using SPSS 10 program. Results. Almost half of health care managers (43,5 proc.) indicated that main leading skills are human skills. Majority of managers (65,5 proc.) point that they are talking with employees about enjoyments. Managers are think that they are polite (91,8 proc.), and pleasant (75,5 proc.). Most of the managers (85,0 proc.) explain that they know every employee in their department. Strategist (59,2 proc.), leader (61,2 proc.), disturbance handler (57,8 proc.) roles are main for the managers. Majority of nurses - nurse administrators (88,6 proc.) reacted to every complaint it was very rare among clinic managers (50,0 proc.). Antrųjų klasių gimnazistų, turinčių skirtingus profesinius polinkius, intelekto sugebėjimai / The intellectual capabilities of second form gymnasium pupils, having different vocational predispositions

The aim of investigation was to reveal the factors that have influence on choosing profession – intellectual capabilities and vocational predispositions. The subjects of the research were 304 second form gymnasium pupils (279 pupils from Vilnius Žemynos gymnasium and 25 pupils from Kaunas “Rasos” gymnasium). The age of the subjects was 15 – 17 years. Literature analysis, J. L. Holland’s test, R. Amthauer IST – 70 methodology, statistical analysis (SPSS 10.0 for Windows) were chosen as the research methods. All of our hypotheses were proved to be partly correct. It was found the positive relations between verbal capabilities (III subtest and I+II+III+IV subtests) and Investigative vocational predisposition, negative relations - between verbal capabilities (II subtest) and Conventional vocational predisposition; mathematical capabilities (V subtest and V+VI subtests) have positive correlations with Investigative and Conventional predisposition, but negative ones – with Artistic predisposition; mathematical capabilities (VI subtest) have positive correlations with Conventional predisposition. All the described correlations are very weak (0,190 ≤ r ≤ 0,276; p < 0,01; p < 0,05 and -0,280 ≤ r ≤ -0,194; p < 0,01; p < 0,05). The purpose of research: to explore the peculiarities of intellectual faculties, of behaviour and of emotional problems of children growing in the families of low social– economic set. The tasks of research: 1. To explore the level of intellectual faculties, of behaviour and of emotional problems of children growing in the families of low and higher social– economic set. 2. To compare the level of intellectual faculties, of behaviour and of emotional problems of children growing in the families of low and higher social– economic set. 3. To elaborate the peculiarities of the level of children intellectual faculties, behaviour and emotional problems in the groups of boys and girls.
