Tato diplomová práce je věnovaná faktorům úspěšnosti v podnikání. Cíl práce spočívá v popisu těchto metod. Autor se rozhodl, že použije jednu z nejmodernějších metod řízení -- controlling a aplikuje ho v prostředí Ukrajiny. Úkolem první části práce je teoretický popis dosud existujícíh metod controllingu a ukázky praktických příkladů z podnikatelského života na Ukrajině. Hlavní část diplomové práce je věnována aplikaci těchto metod na ukrajinský podnik působící v dopravě s následným uvedením doporučení.

The thesis describes the key facts of the entering to the German market and analyses strenghts and weaknesses of the Czech investor.

The paper deals with the description and analysis of public transport in major cities of the Russian Federation and the Czech Republic - Prague and Moscow. Attention is devoted mainly to the state, plans and prospects of development, investment and crime. Very interesting part is the history of public transportation in both cities. Based on the information gathered, the adequacy of public transport for both cities, the size of transport companies, financing of public transport have been evaluated. Chapter plans and prospects informes about the planned construction of new metro lines in Prague and Moscow, which will help to improve infrastructure in the suburban areas of mentioned cities.

Darbe nagrinėjamas Lietuvos ir užsienio autorių požiūris į darbuotojų kompetencijos, mokymo įtaką transporto ir logistikos verslui, konkurenciniam pranašumui. Išnagrinėti bendri aspektai, darantys įtaką transporto ir logistikos įmonių konkurencingumui. Išskiriamos darbuotojų mokymo problemos. Aptariama problematika Lietuvoje, susijusi su transporto ir logistikos įmonių darbuotojų žinių stygiumi bei viso to neigiama įtaka konkurencingumui. Magistrinio darbo tyrime naudojami duomenys yra gauti anketinės apklausos, kurios metu buvo apklausti 87 Lietuvos kelių krovinių transporto įmonių atstovai, būdu. Tyrime yra analizuojami darbuotojų mokymo aspektai Lietuvos transporto įmonėse, tokie kaip, naujų ir esamų vairuotojų bei administracijos darbuotojų mokymo trukmė, darbuotojų mokymo tikslingumo nustatymo kriterijai. Taip pat nagrinėjamos transporto įmonių atstovų nuostatos dėl darbuotojų mokymo įtakos įmonių konkurencingumui. Daug dėmesio skiriama koreliacijų tarp darbuotojų mokymo aspektų ir įmonės konkurencingumo kriterijų analizei. / This master's thesis includes several Lithuanian and foreign authors’ approaches to the importance of personnel and personnel training in the organization, factors of competitiveness in transport and logistics businesses environment. Some main problems concerning personnel training and lack of knowledge in the Lithuanian road transport sector are also highlighted in the thesis. There were 87 representatives of Lithuanian road freight transport companies surveyed to collect the relative data to analyze the personnel training impact to the competitiveness of the transport company. Study analyses various training aspects in the Lithuanian transport companies, such as: training duration, training needs assessment criteria, respondents’ provisions for employee training and etc. Analysis is targeted into two main groups of transport company’s workers: administration staff and drivers. Basically, analysis is based on various correlations between competitiveness criteria and training aspects.

The main aim of the Dissertation was to create a method enabling evaluation of a business plan of a firm doing business in the field of freight transport. The Dissertation is based on an actual investment project in which the transport company takes part in two tender procedures. The specific nature of the transport sector complicated the possibility to use classical methods for the evaluation of investment efficiency. Application of the net pre-sent value method to an already implemented investment project confirmed that this method cannot be used to assess the business plan of the transport company. For this reason, it was necessary to draw up a price creation method for both the tender procedures able to en-sure positive profitability of the project with regard to specifics in particular tenders. The subject matter of the tender procedures was the request for proposal concerning vehicle sets of various specifications. The NAL (net advantage to leasing) method was used to decide about the manner of funding of the vehicle sets. For the other tender procedure, a calculation was made to optimize the route in terms of costs, whereby usability of the price creation method was verified in practice.

A purpose of this thesis is to describe andto analyse the present state of transport company ESATRANS Jihlava Ltd. from the view of ecological impacts (impacts of rolling stock, usage of energies, water and materials) and to propose suitable steps which would limit negative impacts upon environment and would be economically convenient for transport company.

The purpose of this thesis was to objectively appraise development of economical situation of transport company and to make conclusions about situation of the company. Financial analysis was applied on the real existing company. Theoretical part of the thesis characterizes transport company,transport services in cities, financial analysis and its method of calculation individual indicators. Practical part of the thesis includes horizontal and vertical analysis, calculation of financial analysis indicators (rentability, cost, labour productivity, liquidity, indebtedness), intercompany comparison and intercompany comparison among private transport companies and urban transport companies.

This thesis discusses the importance of coach tourism, focusing on specific transport company operating chartered transport.

This work deal with the progress of trolleybus transport in Pardubice. This work evaluate the invesment project of construction a new trolleybus line from Pardubičky, točna to Černá za Bory, točna. The evaluation contain the calculation of current operation bus costs and the costs of new trolleybus line. After comparing the cost is evaluated a possible saving and determine the period of return on investment - construction of a new trolley tracks. The work also analyzes the current state of transport networks in Pardubice, bus and trolley lines, tariff terms and conditions of the current fleet.

<p>This thesis analysis four different sides of policy-making on EU-level: the Cardiff process, the white paper “European transport policy for 2010: time to decide”, the sixth Environmental Action Programme and the Sustainable Development Strategy. In those documents measures proposed for the freight transport sector are identified and used for interviews with key persons at Schenker AG. The aim with the interviews was to examine how Schenker AG was affected and felt committed by the proposed political measures. Following the arguments above the thesis discusses the role of Schenker AG in a society characterized by ecological modernization.</p>
