Analýza výhledových poměrů z užitkových vozidel / Analysis of the Field of View from Commercial VehiclesMarek, Tomáš January 2018 (has links)
Analysis of the field of view from commercial vehicles is very important issue. Because driver’s field of view is main part of active safety. When some traffic accident happens, it must be investigated. The question is, was the driver able to see that object? It’s very different and important if driver didn’t see that object or couldn’t see it. In the thesis are described norms which contains information about driver’s position on driving seat and position his eyes, information about differences between binocular and ambinocular field of view. In the thesis are regulations about rearview and rearview mirrors. The thesis contains elements of vehicle equipment for improvement field of view. The thesis is about possibilities, how measure the field of view from commercial vehicles. The thesis contains few methods for measurements driver’s field of view and theirs results. Objective of the thesis is to take experiences from measured tests and use them for invention and description own method of measuring driver’s field of view from commercial vehicles, which leads to improvement. Then use the method for measurements and comparations few commercial vehicles. Which are dimensionally more bigger and have bigger blind spots than personal vehicles.

Kontrola situace za vozidlem / Checking of the Situation Behind the VehicleJánošík, David January 2019 (has links)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of controlling the situation behind the vehicle. The first part of the thesis summarizes the knowledge about drivers, their reaction time and vehicle response, the construction characteristics of vehicles designed to control what is happening behind the vehicle, and the possibilities of measuring the duration of glances in the form of eye tracking. The analytical part contains an analysis of the duration of glances in the rear view mirrors depending on the mirror, the situation and also the driving manoeuvre during the day time. The data was obtained from video recordings of 12 drivers in normal traffic conditions. The duration of the saccades and fixations of glances was evaluated depending on the mirror used, in individual situations and also for selected driving manoeuvres. The conclusion of the analytical part is devoted to the comparison of the duration of glances during selected driving manoeuvres when exposed to stimuli as well as to the comparison of the differences in individual age groups of tested drivers.

In algebraic geometry, Gromov— Witten invariants are enumerative invariants that count the number of complex curves in a smooth projective variety satisfying some incidence conditions. In 2001, A. Givental and Y.P. Lee defined new invariants, called Ktheoretical Gromov—Witten invariants. These invariants are obtained by replacing cohomological objects used in the definition of the usual Gromov—Witten invariants by their Ktheoretical analogues. Then, an essential question is to understand how these two theories are related. In 2013, Iritani-Givental- Milanov-Tonita show that K-theoretical Gromov—Witten invariants can be embedded in a function which satisfies a q-difference equation. In general, these functional equations verify a property called “confluence”, which guarantees that we can degenerate these equations to obtain a differential equation. In this thesis, we propose to compare our two Gromov—Witten theories through the confluence of q-difference equations. We show that, in the case of complex projective spaces, this property can be adapted to degenerate Ktheoretical invariants into their cohomological analogues. More precisely, we show that theconfluence of Givental’s small K-theoretical Jfunction produces its cohomological analogue after applying the Chern character.

"It's the Englishness" : Bildung and Personality Forming as Postcolonial Criticism in Tsitsi Dangarembga’s Nervous ConditionsNyoni Triyono, Johan January 2020 (has links)
Through a close reading of Tsitsi Dangarembga’s Nervous Conditions, this essay shows the key links between the novel and Frantz Fanon’s major works. In addition to providing a deeper understanding of Dangarembga’s narrative as a whole, it takes into particular consideration the embedded criticism of colonialism in the text. The psychological conditions implied by the title play a central role: the essay shows how these conditions relate to the colonial situation and how refusing to consent to subjugation can be understood as radical criticism of colonial, Christian, as well as patriarchal superstructures as well as forming clear opposition to the colonial institution. The analysis is primarily based on Fanon and his comprehension of other theorists. It also draws on the ideas of Homi K. Bhabha, which will provide an additional level of understanding regarding questions about colonial identities in general, and Dangarembga’s characters Tambu, Nyasha, and Babamukuru in particular.

Apprentissage dans les jeux à champ moyen / Learning in Mean Field GamesHadikhanloo, Saeed 29 January 2018 (has links)
Mean Field Games (MFG) are a class of differential games in which each agent is infinitesimal and interacts with a huge population of other agents. In this thesis, we raise the question of the actual formation of the MFG equilibrium. Indeed, the game being quite involved, it is unrealistic to assume that the agents can compute the equilibrium configuration. This seems to indicate that, if the equilibrium configuration arises, it is because the agents have learned how to play the game. Hence the main question is to find learning procedures in mean field games and investigating if they converge to an equilibrium. We have inspired from the learning schemes in static games and tried to apply them to our dynamical model of MFG. We especially focus on fictitious play and online mirror descent applications on different types of mean field games; those are either Potential, Monotone or Discrete.

La directionnalité de l’écrit : Evolution développementale et contribution au traitement des formes de lettres / Writing directionality : Developmental evolution and contribution to the processing of the shapes of lettersPortex, Marine 12 December 2017 (has links)
Directionality is a crucial perceptual-motor and culturally-based component of early writing acquisition. This research was aimed at providing empirical data and new theoretical insights on 1) its developmental evolution and, 2) its contribution to the production and the recognition of the shapes of letters. Five studies have been devised to fulfill the research objectives. The first study was aimed at investigating how print experience, as a cultural factor, influences directional tendencies in children’s drawing in the interplay with biomechanical, syntactic and semantic factors. Results showed a reinforcement of cultural influence on directional tendencies from 6 years onward. Older children were better able to disengage from a prevalent embodied behavior to meet contextual constraints. The second study examined the specific developmental evolution of writing directionality in children aged from 4 to 11 years while producing the same shapes in both writing and drawing tasks. The results suggested that universal and culture-specific features of writing appear concomitantly and early on in children’s productions. Another two studies were aimed to empirically test competing accounts of mirror writing in preliterate children. On-line productions of paired conventional and mirror writings revealed a predominant role of writing directionality and a kinematic invariance. Finally, a training study showed a contribution of writing directionality to the subsequent recall of the shapes of letters. Results are discussed in terms of embodiment and perspectives in educational settings.

Porovnání mozkové aktivity pomocí sLoreta mezi Feldenkraisovou metodou a vizuální stimulací / Source analysis and comparation of Feldenkrais inspired movement and visual stimulation using sLORETANovotná, Tereza January 2017 (has links)
Title of thesis: Source analysis and comparation of Feldenkrais inspired movement and visual stimulation using sLORETA Objectives: The thesis aim is to evaluate intracerebral source activity during a simple arm movement inspired by Feldenkrais method and to compare it with a visual stimulation of the same movement presented in a clip and with an imagination of the same movement. The movement inspired by Feldenkrais method was simplified to a repeated flexion of the dominant arm. Source analysis was evaluated from EEG and processed using sLORETA program, Methods: To obtain the data, experimental group was put together containing 12 participants aged 22-60, (mean = 27.2), both genders included. Participants were subjected to one-off measurement by the EEG instrument. Feldenkrais inspired movement of a flexion of a dominant upper right arm was investigated. The experiment constisted of six parts: 1. native EEG record with eyes closed and open, 2. active flexion of the dominant upper arm with eyes closed, 3. active flexion of the dominant upper arm with eyes opened, 4. watching video presenting repeated upper arm flexion, 5. dominant upper arm flexion imagination with eyes closed. Every part lasted for two minutes. Between individuals parts was inserted a pause. Obtained EEG data were processed with...
