Švietimo institucijos įvaizdžio sąsajos su studentų pasitenkinimu mokymo teikiamų paslaugų kokybe / The connections between the image of educational institutions and students’ satisfaction of the teaching quality

Jaglinska, Renata 01 August 2012 (has links)
2. Studentų pasitenkinimas teikiamų mokymo paslaugų kokybe, įtakoja švietimo institucijos įvaizdį. Tyrimo rezultatai yra surinkti ir susisteminti. Aukštojo mokslo įvaizdžio sudarymas ir studentų pasitenkinimas parodo, kaip aukštojo mokslo organizacijų paslauga aprūpina mokymą. Anketos išstudijavimas padėjo paaiškinti ir nustatyti, kaip... The master of the research has formed the basis of a quantitative study using a questionnaire survey. The object of the research work is the image of Vilnius College and its’ connections with students’ satisfaction with the quality of teaching services in it. During the observation work it was important to raise and meet these tasks: 1. According to the scientific literature the image creation of higher education institutions concept was reviewed and basic definitions were given to; 2. To overview the main models of image. 3. The main principles of image formation and characteristics of higher education institutions were analyzed; 4. The overview of the basic image of the development models described in scientific literature sources was done; 5. The main principles of the image formation of higher education institutions were analyzed. The main factors and features of the image creation were described and analyzed in the research. 6. To make questionnaire study asking students’ from Vilnius College. The results of the work have been codified and analyzed using descriptive statistical methods. The research work consists of the two parts: the analysis of the scientific literature and the analytical work. Hypothesis: 1. The image of the higher educational institution is caused by students’ satisfaction of teaching... [to full text]

The Parent’s Chronotype and Child’s Sleeping Quality in Association with Relationship Satisfaction

Ricci, Cristian, Parra-Robledo, Zaida, Rothenbacher, Dietrich, Diaz-Morales, Juan Francisco, Genuneit, Jon 07 February 2024 (has links)
The prospective Ulm-SPATZ study was investigated to assess the role of child sleeping quality between 4 to 6 years of age in affecting a partner’s sleeping and relationship satisfaction within a couple. The study was conducted using a triadic approach in which the child was included in the Actor-Partner-Interdependence Model (APIM). Sleeping quality of the child was determined by using the German version of the children’s sleep habits questionnaire, sleeping features of the parents were assessed by using the Munich chronotype questionnaire, and the partner relationship assessment was performed by employing the German version of the parenting stress index questionnaire. In 211 German triads, we observed that sleeping characteristics and partner relationship scores at different child ages are consistent for both men and women. Higher and statistically significant sleep duration, time spent in bed, the midpoint of sleep, time getting out of bed, and sleep onset in women compared to men during the working days were observed. The APIM analyses showed a significant direct effect of child sleep quality on the partner relationship satisfaction. In women, a mediated effect of child sleep quality acted through sleep duration and time spent in bed on the partner relationship satisfaction score during both free and working days. In men, low child sleep quality was found to be associated with increased sleep onset during both free and working days. Child sleep quality influences relationship satisfaction mostly in mothers, likely because of their higher involvement in childcare during working days. Distress in the couple could be counteracted by a major involvement of the fathers in child management.

Developing paediatric quality indicators for UK general practice

Gill, Peter John January 2013 (has links)
The overall aim of this thesis is to define a candidate set of quality indicators that are evidence-based, feasible to implement, and have the potential to improve the quality of care provided for children in UK general practice. The indicators were developed using a three-stage process. First, the areas and aspects of care of highest priority for quality indicator development were identified. This was achieved by seeking the views of primary care clinicians and by undertaking a formal analysis of unplanned hospital admissions for ambulatory care sensitive conditions. Then, the evidence-base to underpin indicator development was identified through an overview of Cochrane systematic reviews of interventions relevant to the primary care of children. A search of SIGN and NICE national guidelines was also conducted to inform the evidence-base. Lastly, an expert panel determined the formulation and selection of indicators by applying the RAND appropriateness methodology. This process created a final set of 26 quality indicators in six priority areas: early recognition of potentially serious illness (n=7); child protection and safeguarding (n=4); mental health (n=4); health promotion (n=1); routinely managed conditions (n=6); and general practice management (n=4). The main strength of these indicators is that they reflect a strong professional consensus on their validity and feasibility. The main weakness is that the indicators are underpinned by evidence mainly derived from expert opinion rather than formal research; the requirement for professional consensus means that they do not challenge existing models of care delivery.
