The Diploma thesis {\clqq}How to heighten the level of living, with the subtitle Comittee ÚV KSČ for questions of the level of living 1963-1968, deals about the standard of living of the people in Czechoslovakia of 1960s. The Sixties is evaluated for high quality of culture. Althought it was not the priority for the political leadership. Therefore neither do I in my thesis. The interest was rather addressed to the material satisfaction of citizen´s needs before their cultural and spiritual demands. The hightening of the level of living happened one of the partie´s priorities. The aim of the work is to get closer to an everyday live of the citizens on the basics of economic and social policy of the state. All foundations of the comitee UV KSC for the questions of life level became the source basement, which were determined to it by another comitee and organs of authority importance interested in it. On the base of the source it was possible to analyse economic and social conditions of Czechoslovakia and reforms before all, wchich above mentioned comitee was proposing. Before all it concerned to changes having the influence on the state of life standard. Population, flat, salary, price, socila policy of the state induce its quality. I ellected population problemacy, flat crisis, economic reforms, role of women, mainly the employment of women, shortening of working time, a question of free time and socilailist family as the crucial topic of the thesis. Politicaly relieved period of the sixties enabled an introduction of a new system of conducting national economy with the outsanding influence on material satiation of the citizens. Simultaneously with economic reform even a short period feeling of freedom came in. Interviews with contemporaries helped to disclose personal impressions of people.

This works aims to question the evolutions brought by young people aged 14 to 25 in two mouvements of Specialized Catholic Action in 1960s France. Historiography makes a link between social changements in gender or intimacy issues during this time and students as social actors and the phenomenon of secularization, however, this study would like to renew the field by focusing on the young people in a religious mouvements aimed at the working class. Born in the interwar period on a line of uncompromising moral and Christian reconquest of the workers, YWCs became unexpected but real actors of gender evolutions in French society of the postwar boom. The mouvements represent a middle way of social change by seeking an original ecclesial and social position in accordance with the double injunction of a Christian and social activist movement. The beginning of the coeducation, debates on gender equality in schools, at work or in society, as well as matters of sexual emancipation are a good historic observatory of the evolution on gender. While Catholicism gradually abandoned as a primary form insertion into society as a lay specialized Catholic Action from the 1970s, this history is also that of the consequences of secularization on a denominational movement. The bursting of meaning, the development of a practical pluralism, the search for autonomy reflect the tensions in contemporary French Catholicism since the 1980s on issues of gender and intimacy in the very contemporary.

Architektura ve službách Československých aerolinií. Interiéry reprezentačních cestovních kanceláří ČSA a letiště Praha-Ruzyně v 60. letech / Architekture and Czechoslovak Airlines (ČSA). Interiors of ČSA Offices and Prague Ruzyně International Airport in the SixtiesPapežová, Petra January 2017 (has links)
In the 1960s Czechoslovak Airlines (ČSA) set up offices in the countries to which they operated regular flights. ČSA branches abroad were to match high standards of other airlines premises. In those years travelling by air was still regarded a luxury. ČSA had to take these facts into consideration. The same group of architects, designers and artists who participated in the design of ČSA branch offices took also part in the outline of the new Prague Ruzyně international airport checking-in hall. This thesis aims to depict some former, now vanished, ČSA premises. In the 1990s ČSA closed down some offices abroad and the Prague Ruzyně international airport checking- in hall (now Terminal 1) was completely reconstructed. Press and other articles, archive documents, monographies as well as information provided directly by architects, designers and artists or their relatives were used in order to describe some previous ČSA publicly accessible premises and works of art that they included. On the basis of ascertained facts, it is obvious that in the 1960s ČSA offices abroad were not only to promote the good company reputation but further fulfilled a political role to create a positive picture of the Czechoslovak Republic. ČSA offices were designed by groups around Karel Filsak and Jan Šrámek. Their signatures can...
