Verification Method for Time of Capture of a Rolling Shutter Image / Metod för Verifiering av Tidpunkt för Bilder Tagna med Rullande Slutare

Johansson, Filip, Johansson, Alexander January 2023 (has links)
Modern automotive systems increasingly depend on camera sensors to gather safetycriticaldata used in driver-assisting features of the system. These features can consist offor example, lane-keeping assist and automatic braking where the sensors register objectswithin certain distances. When these camera sensors gather information, the time of theimage is critical for the calculation of speeds, distances, and size of any potential registeredobject in the frame. Limitations of bandwidth and computing in such vehicles creates aneed to use special cameras that do not capture the whole image simultaneously but insteadcapture the images piecewise. These cameras are called rolling shutter cameras. Thisputs pressure on defining when an image was captured when different parts of the imagewere captured at different points in time. For this thesis, this point in time is defined as thechronological middle point in between the camera starting to capture an image and when ithas collected the final part of it. This thesis performs a mapping-study to evaluate methodsto verify the timestamp of an image generated from rolling shutter cameras. Further, thisthesis proposes a new method using multiple digital clocks and presents its performanceusing a proof-of-concept implementation to prove the method’s ability to accurately representtime with sub-millisecond accuracy.

Traffic Measurement and Timestamp Accuracy Evaluation of Java ME Traffic Generator on Smartphone

Huq, Mohammed Azizul January 2011 (has links)
Research on network traffic measurement is becoming popular because it could find the reason and valuable information regarding the occurrence of timestamp accuracy error. In this thesis the performance of UDP traffic between application level and link level has been investigated on three different Smartphone operating systems. One Java ME traffic generator and sink was developed for this thesis work. Distributed Passive Measurement Infrastructure with Measurement Point was used for the experiment. To get high timestamp accuracy DAG 3.5E card was used which was synchronized with GPS. Through the different tests under different protocol layers, it can be concluded that the Android mobile performs better as Java ME application works like a native application, whereas Symbian and Windows mobile struggles with incompatible implementation for poor JVM support. Time stamping at link level is more accurate and far different from application level. This thesis also investigated the performance evaluation of different JVM for Windows mobile.

Certifikační autorita / Certification authority

Herinek, Denis January 2018 (has links)
There is a lot of available services on the internet those need to be more secured and trusted. Public key infrastructure is used in sectors where are higher expectations in case of authentication, integrity and confidentality. It is almost impossible to imagine how internet banking or electronic signatures of important documents would work without PKI. There is a lot of open-source realisations of PKI created by users. Digital certificates as a part of PKI are issued by certificate authorities. This diploma thesis consists of open- source realisation of certificate authority and timestamping authority to demonstrate services which they provide.

Un système personnalisé de recommandation à partir de concepts quadratiques dans les folksonomies / A personalized recommentder system based on quadri-concepts in folksonomies

Jelassi, Mohamed Nidhal 11 May 2016 (has links)
Recommender systems are now popular both commercially as well as within the research community, where many approaches have been suggested for providing recommendations. Folksonomies' users are sharing items (e.g., movies, books, bookmarks, etc.) by annotating them with freely chosen tags. Within the Web 2.0 age, users become the core of the system since they are both the contributors and the creators of the information. In this respect, it is of paramount importance to match their needs for providing a more targeted recommendation. For such purpose, we consider a new dimension in a folksonomy classically composed of three dimensions <users, tags, resources> and propose an approach to group users with close interests through quadratic concepts. Then, we use such structures in order to propose our personalized recommendation system of users, tags and resources. We carried out extensive experiments on two real-life datasets, i.e., MovieLens and BookCrossing which highlight good results in terms of precision and recall as well as a promising social evaluation. Moreover, we study some of the key assessment metrics namely coverage, diversity, adaptivity, serendipity and scalability. In addition, we conduct a user study as a valuable complement to our evaluation in order to get further insights. Finally, we propose a new algorithm that aims to maintain a set of triadic concepts without the re-scan of the whole folksonomy. The first results comparing the performances of our proposition andthe running from scratch the whole process over four real-life datasets show its efficiency.

Srovnání legislativy elektronického podpisu ve vybraných zamích / Comparison of the legislation of electronic signature in selected countries

Hautke, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
Focus of this thesis is to compare legislation of electronic signature in the Czech Republic and in the USA. In first chapter are explained basic terms, such as cryptography, certificate or certification authority. Next two chapters deal with laws concerning electronic communication. In chapter about Czech legislation they are electronic signature law and electronic transactions and authorized document conversion law. Moreover, Czech Republic has to abide EU directive. Chapter about USA legislation consists of ESIGN act and UETA. Following chapter is dedicated to problems caused by imperfect legislation. Last chapter contains evaluation of described legislation.

Klient-server mobilní aplikace se zpracováním obrazu / Client-Server Mobile Application with Image Processing

Černošek, Bedřich January 2018 (has links)
The main goal of this work is creating client-server application with image processing and cryptographic verification of image source and creation time. The work focuses on creating a mobile client application on the Android platform that securly takes photos by mobile device camera, processes captured images and provides a digital signature, timestamp and GPS location. The main part of the work is secure key exchange, encrypted communication, data and energy efficiency of the client-server application. The server application is implemented on the Java EE platform and processes the received image, performs object detection, object recognition in the image and provides a timestamp from a trusted server. Then taken photo can be considered as a trusted electronic document usable as valid evidence for the judical or administrative proceedings.
