CASE veiklos žinių bazės tvarkymo sistema / CASE activity knowledge basis management system

Budrevičius, Kęstutis 31 May 2004 (has links)
Now in most CASE tools the information collected during the stage of IS cycle analysis is not used to generate the models of the designing stage. Improving CASE systems it is offered to enlarge them with an activity knowledge basis, what becomes an additional source of information to generate project model. Activity knowledge model created in the department of data systems has been specified and activity setting system has been designed and realized during the work. System design has been conducted using programming appliances: Rational Rose Enterprise Edition 2002, Microsoft Visio Professional 2002. Use Case model generating algorithms has been created on the grounds of the activity basis. UCM models storage and software needed for its functioning have been worked out. CASE activity knowledge basis ordering system has been created on the grounds of the activity meta-model worked out in the department of data systems. Realized activity knowledge ordering system is used to extend traditional CASE systems functional possibilities. Realized CASE activity knowledge basis ordering system (Visual FoxPro 7.0) lets:  To input and adjust activity knowledge – activity elements described on the grounds of work model sequences activity procedures, activity functions, information flow, material flow and users;  To relate activity processes, activity functions, simulate their hierarchy structure;  To make accounts about the content of knowledge basis;  To generate users case... Gimnazijos pažangumo ir lankomumo informacinė sistema / Information system of progress and attendance at Gymnasium

Jėckienė, Rasa 08 January 2007 (has links)
This work is an information system of progress and attendance at Kedainiai Sviesioji gymnasium. This information system will store data – grades and absences from school. It will also include information about schoolchildren and teachers. One of the aims of the informative society development nowadays is to reduce time expenditures. Thus the users of IS would be able to spend more time familiarizing with latest technologies and its perspectives as well as analysing the activity of rivals as in the times of market economy one of the main criteria of prosperous activity is to keep in step with modern technologies. The aim - to project and introduce the information system of progress and attendance. Problems solved: • The problem of progress and attendance record – therefore the grades and absences from school will be entered up. • The function of control – it will enable to control the grades and absences from school. • The function of information storage – it will enable to collect information about schoolchildren (information is constantly renewed and sorted according to particular criteria) and give the accounts that can be viewed or/and printed (the information in database can be also viewed or printed).

Managing an agricultural commodities portfolio in South Africa with pairs trading / André Heyman

Heymans, André January 2007 (has links)
Although a pair trading is well known among South African agricultural commodity traders, there are no comprehensive documented accounts for the selection and trading of agricultural commodity pairs in South Africa. The majority of agricultural commodity pairs traders take positions based on their personal view of price movements, without testing for a statistical relationship between the paired commodities that will guarantee that their prices will move back to a common mean. To remedy this lack of method regarding the pairs selection and pairs trading processes, a comprehensive pairs selection process was developed and is documented in this thesis. During the pairs selection process, several agricultural commodities were put through a rigorous evaluation process to test for any long-run statistical relationships between them. This was done to ensure that only pairs with stable long-run statistical relationships were included in the final pair’s portfolio that was compiled. In order to test the profitability of this pair’s portfolio, several fundamental and technical indicators were used to determine entry and exit points. Although some of these indicators did not render satisfactory results, the RSI and Bollinger bands succeeded in realising an acceptable profit. / Thesis (Ph.D. (Risk Management))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2008.

Unidade microcontroladora para gerenciamento eletrônico de um motor de combustão interna ciclo Otto. / Microcontroller electronic unit to manage an Otto cycle internal combustion engine.

Dias, Bruno Martin de Alcantara 26 March 2015 (has links)
In the last few decades, the world automotive industry has invested in the technological development of the engines, aiming to get better energetic efficiency and comply with legislations that limit the amount of toxic exhaustion gases. This resulted in electronic management systems for engines, which allowed flexibility to control several engine-related variables, considerably increasing the engine efficiency. This work aims to explore the Otto cycle combustion engine dynamics, its electronic signals, and the elements of its electronic management. Based on that information, this work presents the analysis process of the electronic signals, and the control strategies used in a real management system. Then, the hardware and firmware of a microcontroller unity are developed for the electronic management of the engine. The hardware was elaborated with a centralized concept, i.e., only one 32-bit microcontroller was used to control all functions. The control firmware was developed in a modular scheme, based on the closed loop models. The engine mathematical model was identified using control techniques in a real engine. The results were obtained by tests in an inertial dynamometer.
