Organizacijų veiklos analitikai konstatuoja organizacijų aplinkos dinamiškumą, chaotiškumą. Norėdamos išlikti tokioje greitai kintančioje aplinkoje, organizacijos turi adaptuotis – numatyti veiklos pokyčius, greitai ir adekvačiai reaguoti, keisti valdymo metodus. Veiklai pertvarkyti reikia efektyvių veiklos žinių valdymo mechanizmų, kurie turi būti grindžiami informacinėmis technologijomis. Įmonės norėdamos sėkmingai adaptuoti ir naudotis įvairiais valdymo metodais gali naudotis žinių bazėmis, tačiau šiuo metu tokios bazės yra neparuoštos našiam darbui įmonėse, šiame darbe pateikiamas modelis, kaip sudarytą veiklos žinių kubą būtų galima patogiai pateikti įmonės vidaus naudojimui. Mokslinė problema. Yra sukurta nemažai koncepcijų bei modelių, tačiau yra tam tikra spraga tarp teorinių modelių bei jų taikymo (Gudas, S., Brundzaitė, R., 2007, p.1). Problemos ištyrimo lygis. Pasirinkta tema „Veiklos žinių bazės modelio sudarymas“ remiantis OLAP metodologija, nėra ištirta. Yra sukurti panašūs projektai, kur OLAP kubas generuoja ne su skaičiais, o su duomenimis susidedančiais iš tekstų, dokumentų, kurie padeda įmonėms tobuliau, naudingiau organizuoti darbus, geriau sekti įmonės dokumentaciją, bei naudingiau ją panaudoti (Katsuhiko, N., 2002, p.3). "Universalus duomenų bazių valdymo sistemų valdymo įrankis" yra atviro kodo programinės įrangos projektas, skirtas DBVS administravimui. Su šiuo įrankiu galima vienu metu administruoti kelias skirtingas DBVS. Kol kas yra palaikomos MySQL ir SQLite3 DBVS, tačiau sistema buvo sukurta taip, kad galima nesunkiai ją pritaikyti ir kitoms DBVS. Darbe taip pat trumpai apžvelgiama DBVS vystymosi istorija bei pateikiamas panašių įrankių palyginimas. / „Universal Tool for Management of Database Management Systems“ is open-source software project designed for new and experienced users to control their favorite DBMS. With this software it is possible to work with several databases at one time. Currently MySQL and SQLite3 DBMS are supported, but system is universal in that way, that it is easy to add new DBMS support, if needed. In this work, you will also find brief history of DBMS and comparison of similar software. The system has only one user group – database administrator. Database administrator can create databases, tables, do the search in table records and do many other things, which are permitted in DBMS.

The purpose of this work lies in modeling, designing and development of the computer supported work place, adjusting for stocktaking of any kind of transport. The software intended for express and other companies. In this work the computer supported work place is created where the users can create and modify data in a database all over the local area network. Under the influence of implementing of functionality, user can easily get useful and straight information. By using this software, the managers can effectively schedule the resources of technical, human and material.

The information system created performs the following functions: standardizes the process of failure registration and management; allows monitoring and receiving information in different sections adapted for certain groups; provides opportunity to evaluate the existing situation of provision with equipment and plan future investments within time scale; allows service of a whole group of users in one time. The information system has been created by using open source software – which enables to avoid additional investments.

Database design methods and tools have been investigated in the paper. The action diagram construction process has been investigated and three data design methodologies IDE1X, IE and Chen‘ have been considered. The main definitions have been described and classified in detail. The problems of database design have been stated and table normal forms have been presented. The company‘s employee income tax database model has been designed on the basis of the theory. Four step Chen‘s diagram has been used to design the data model. The company‘s employee income tax database has been designed and implemented in MS Access environment. The data import program from MS Excel has been developed.

Darbas skirtas sukurti invariantišką kosminių žingsninių strateginių žaidimų duomenų bazę. Darbo metu buvo atlikta žaidimo modelio analizė, pagal kurią buvo suprojektuota duomenų bazė tinkanti bet kokiam žaidimo modeliui. Taip pat žaidimo varikliuke buvo sukurtas modulis dirbti su duomenų baze bei atlikus duomenų bazės efektyvumo tyrimą realizuotas duomenų bazės optimizavimo metodas konkrečiam žaidimui. / The purpose of this work is to create an invariant space turn-based strategy game database. Working with game model and its analysis was designed database suitable for any game model. Also, a module for work with the database was implemented in the game engine. Furthermore, after testing the database a method was implemented, used for optimizing the database for a specific game.

Tiriamasis darbas skirtas web draudimo informacinės sistemos modelio analizei ir kūrimui. Pagrindinis darbo tikslas sukonstruoti analitinį draudimo informacinės sistemos modelį, kuris atitiktų kiek įmanoma daugiau verslo sistemos logiką, bei turėtu internetinį interfeisą, kuris leistų vartotojui dirbti nepriklausomai nuo jo buvimo vietos ir laiko. Darbe nagrinėjama ne tik techninė dalis, t.y. kaip sukurti sistemą, bet ir projektinė modelio dalis, t.y. kokia sistema turi būti, tam kad draudimo bendrovė galėtų tvarkingai funkcionuoti. Tiriamajam darbui buvo pasirinktas indukcinis tyrimo metodas, t.y. autoriai analizavo egzistuojančias draudimo informacinių sistemų modelius, bei pritaikė savo patyrimą ir žinias, kad sukurti naują web draudimo informacinę sistemą. Šio tiriamojo darbo rezultatas yra labai naudingas draudimo bendrovėms, kurios jau naudoja sukurtą web sistemą. Ši sistema palaiko beveik visas verslo logikos ypatybes, bei leidžia automatizuoti dalį rankinių procesų. Pagrindinis sukurto modelio privalumas yra sistemos pernešamumo savybė, t.y. draudimo sistemos modelis su nedidelėm išlygom gali būti pritaikytas bet kokiai draudimo bendrovei. Taip pat sukurti greito sistemos vystymo metodai supaprastina produktų kūrimo procesą, bei sumažina sistemos apkrovimą, kas leidžia minimizuoti kompanijos išteklius. / The key concept of the research proposed by the paper is to analyze the processes of Web insurance information system design and development. To put it in some more simplified words the main objective of the research is to develop analytical insurance information system model, which would confront at the highest possible level, to the business logics, moreover would have Internet interface, which would provide users with favorable working conditions independently on the time and place. The purpose of the study is multipartite: • To analyze existing insurance information systems; • To provide Web insurance information system design mechanism; • To develop open interface algorithms; • To improve business processes over their execution time and reliability; • To construct product manager; • To evaluate and compare created system with competitor’ products. Magistro darbe buvo apžvelgta ir išanalizuota vietovardžių saugojimo duomenų bazėse problema bei dabartinė situacija. Buvo parinkti skirtingos kilmės vietovardžiai ir išanalizuotos jų erdvinės sklaidos charakteristikos (tankis, koncentracija, dispersija) bei ši informacija palyginta su duomenimis apie dabartinius geografinius reiškinius. Erdvinės sklaidos charakteristikoms nustatyti buvo pritaikyti erdvinės statistikos metodai. Gauti rezultatai buvo interpretuoti ir sudaryti žemėlapiai Lietuvos vietovardžių atlasui. Darbe naudoti metodai leidžia sukurti įdomų ir patrauklų atlasą, kuris neapsiribotų vien tik žemėlapiais, bet turėtų komentarus, analizę bei tyrimus. Ateityje galima būtų atlasą patalpinti ir internete. / In the master thesis the problem and current situation of place name storage in data bases was reviewed and analyzed. Different origin place-names were selected and analyzed their spatial distribution characteristics (density, concentration, dispersion). The information was compared with data about current geographical phenomena. Spatial distribution characteristics were calculated with spatial statistical methods. The results were interpreted and maps for Lithuanian place-names atlas were designed. The methods used in this work allow to create interesting and attractive atlas with maps, comments, analysis and research. Atlas in the future could be placed in internet.
