Vartotojo įvedamos ir išvedamos informacijos specifikavimo konceptualizavimas / The conceptualization of specification of users' requirements to incoming and out coming information

Trijonis, Vidas 15 January 2005 (has links)
The specification of requirements is one of the most important stages in the development of information system. The correct description is one of the principle goals in preparation of specification of requirements. Well-done specification of information system is a significant support to create software with high functionality, low maintenance and adaptation costs. Filled in document forms play an important role in the analysis of user requirements. This analysis helps to reduce the gap between the user and the system analyst. The methods of form analysis are oriented in creation of an entity relationship scheme. Information system department offering user requirements specification process of functional requirements specification method is similar to natural requirements analysis proceeding. This process begins from specification of users' requirements to incoming and out coming information. This work presents the model and prototype for specification of users' requirements to incoming and out coming information. The model is based on analysis of documents forms given by user. Method is divided into three phases: 1) user incoming and out coming information, 2) data structure analysis, 3) conceptual schema generation. The meta-model repository of requirements specification is presented. The specification process and prototype of specification of incoming and out coming information of user’s requirements are described.

Žiniomis grindžiamas vartotojo reikalavimų specifikacijos generavimo metodas / Knowledge based user requirements specification generation method

Babianskas, Tadas 13 August 2010 (has links)
Knowledge based user requirements models generation became one of the basis information systems development proceses. The specification of requirements make the essential role developing the software. This paper analises knowledge based user models generation method. Also discuss knowledge based system architekture. The enterprise model is used for requirements model generation and is reputed as the knowledge source which is integrated with requirements specification model made in conformity with Volere template basis. The aim of this work is to analyse the advantages and disadvantages of existing user requirements specification tools and suggest the best technological method for the generation of user reguirements specification model. The object of this work is user requirements specification. The problem of the work is that user requirements specification is not based on formalized criterion, so in such a way we lose the fullness of information. That’s why we have to choose the model to have a structure for the information collecting from the user. The programme prototype was developed using Volere tempalate basis integrated with changed enterprise model. This tool allows to specify user requirements considering that enterprise model is filled with knowledge about exact object domain. Report is generated after requirements specification.

Determining User Requirements Of First-of-a-kind Interactive Systems: An Implementation Of Cognitive Analysis On Human Robot Interaction

Acikgoz Kopanoglu, Teksin 01 March 2011 (has links) (PDF)
Although, user requirements are critical for the conformance of a system (or a product) design with the user, they may be appraised late in the development processes. Hence, resources and schedules may be planned with the limitations of system oriented requirements. Therefore, late discovered critical feedbacks from the users may not be reflected to the requirements or the design. The focus of this thesis is how to determine the user requirements of first-of-a-kind interactive systems, early in the development process. First-of-a-kind interactive systems differentiate from others for not having experienced users and subject matter experts. Cognitive analysis techniques are investigated with the aim to discover and integrate user requirements early in the development processes of first-of-a-kind systems. Hybrid Cognitive Task Analysis, one of the cognitive analysis techniques, is carried out for the determination of user requirements of a system in the Human Robot Interaction area. Therefore, while exemplifying the methodology, its competency and correspondence with the domain is observed.

Business Intelligence - Enabled Adaptive Enterprise Architecture

Akhigbe, Okhaide Samson 02 May 2014 (has links)
The desire to obtain value and justify investments from the different Information Systems in place in organizations has been around for a long time. Organizations constantly theorize and implement different approaches that provide some sort of alignment between their different business objectives and Information Systems. Unfortunately, the environments in which these organizations operate are often dynamic, constantly changing with influence from external and internal factors that require continual realignment of the Information Systems with business objectives to provide value. When businesses evolve, leading to changes in business requirements, it is hard to know what direct Information System changes are needed to respond to the new requirements. Similarly, when there are changes in the Information System, it is not often easy to discern which business objectives are directly affected. Whilst the different Enterprise Architecture frameworks available today provide and propose some form of alignment, in their implementation, they do not show links between business objectives and Information Systems, i.e., indicating what Information System is directly responsible for different business objectives thereby allowing for anticipation and support of changes as the business evolves. This thesis utilizes insights from Business Intelligence and uses the User Requirements Notation (URN), which enables modeling of business processes and goals, to provide a framework that exploits links between business objectives and Information Systems. This Business Intelligence - Enabled Adaptive Enterprise Architecture framework allows for anticipating and supporting proactively the adaptation of Enterprise Architecture as and when the business evolves. The thesis also identifies and models levels within the enterprise where responses to change as the business evolves are needed and the ways the changes are presented. The tool-supported framework is evaluated against the different levels and types of changes on a realistic Enterprise Architecture at a Government of Canada department, with encouraging results.
