Cesta k nezávislosti a demokratizaci v Keni a  vývoj ve 21. století / The road to independence and democratization in Kenya and development in the 21st century

Dejmková, Kamila January 2012 (has links)
The aim of my Thesis is to analyze the way how Kenya gained independence, how the process of democratization had conducted and the development in the 21th century. The reason for the focus on Kenya is that it is a country which I am interested in and I want to get the new information. The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter gives information about the current economic, geographic, demographic and political situation in the country. The second chapter focuses on the historical development till 1944. Includes description of the oldest inhabitants of the planet Earth, the original inhabitants of the country, settlers and colonizers. Year 1944 is chosen deliberately, this is the year when first Kenya had been elected to the National Assembly. The third chapter deals with the situation in the country until 1963, when the country was granted independence. This chapter deals with the rebellion Mau - Mau, congresses at which was discussed the constitution of an independent country, important personal proces sof independence - the first and the second president Jomo Kennyat and Daniel Arap Moi's regime. The fourth chapter gives information about the process of democratization. Here I describe how the process of democratization in Kenya had conducted and all the things that happened in the country since independence. The fifth chapter seeks to answer the question of why we can not say that Kenya is a democratic state. Describe here the notion of tribalism, which has a major impact on what is happening in the country. The members of the nation are loyal to their ethnicity in any case, and therefore it is not possible to develop democracy in the country in the literal sense.

In the theoretical part ("Teoretická část"), the main characteristics of the Rostow's Stages of growth model and the Solow-Swan growth model are explained. The empirical part ("Empirická část") consists of the empirical verification based on statistical data from a total of 51 Asian countries. This includes 47 independent Asian states, 2 partially recognized states (Palestine and Taiwan) and 2 dependent territories (Hong Kong and Macao). The conclusion is devoted specifically to the People's Republic of China and in particular to the evaluation of its economic development, including efforts to predict future developments in relation to Czech businesses.

Trends in IT are focusing on the development of mobile applications. With that, pressure on the software companies to include software development for mobile platforms is increasing. The current methodologies managed to cope with the development of small and custom software development and web applications. Intensive efforts are underway to revise current methodologies to be adjusted for the mobile platform. Goal of this thesis is to design methodology to suit small businesses up to 50 employees and enable them to develop efficiently. Using practical knowledge retrieved from this type of companies, it suggests the entire set of processes and tools that can be used for this purpose, and then tests them in practical demonstrations focusing on the analysis phase.

Metodika pro výběr a nasazení CASE nástrojů

Hradecká, Petra January 2008 (has links)
The goal of this master’s thesis is to develop a methodology for CASE tool selection. This work consists of two parts. The first part is about software engineering, methodologies for IS development and its categorization, CASE tools and meta-modeling. The rest of the part is about methodological framework and current situation on the CASE tools market. The second part contains the methodology for selection of CASE tool. It is an open methodology and it offers a set of recommendations and procedures that are derived from best practices gathered from available resources and other similar methodologies. The main idea of this work is to devise a methodology for the CASE tools selection. The selection process is divided into several different segments that are analyzed in detail. The methodology distinguishes between both situations when the company either owns an existing CASE technology or it does not use CASE technology yet. The methodology suggests intensive internal communication during the selection and emphasizes the involvement of future users in the process. It is important to increase chance for smooth implementation and successful acceptance of the CASE in the company. The importance of considering differences in structure, character and the scope of projects, requirements for project management and maturity level of processes during the CASE tool selection process is highlighted.

Ontogenetický vývoj kostry končetin u žab / Development of the limb skeleton in the Anura

Kocábková, Martina January 2010 (has links)
Development of the limb skeleton in the Anura Bc. Martina Kocábková Abstract Although the morphology of frogs has been the subject of several studies, results of these are often incomplete and confusing. There are only several detailed studies of morphological variability in ontogeny of anuran limbs and even these results are difficult to compare. Therefore I have decided to map some of the diversity encountered in the ontogeny of these elements. This study is based on comparative study of ontogenetic series of nine anuran species which are representing the principal locomotor types. The results support that the basic developmental pattern was similar in all species. However there are some differences in details of ontogeny which are involved in the differentiation of carpus and tarsus.

Použití Amesova testu pro studium genotoxicity nově vyvíjených látek / Ames test in the drug development

Klaučová, Martina January 2018 (has links)
Charles University Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology Student: Martina Klaučová Supervisor: prof. PharmDr. Petr Pávek, Ph.D. Consultant: PharmDr. Ivona Pávková, Ph.D. Diploma thesis title: Ames test in the drug development Background: Thesis objective is the determination of potential genotoxicity of newly developed drugs within primary testing and the introduction of the Ames microfluctuation test which can be used in common laboratory conditions. Methods: I used commercially supplied kit based on the principles of Ames test which detects reverse mutation through colour changes of the samples using bacterial strains S. typhimurium. At first I had to study literary sources and then I could design the procedures of the Ames microfluctuation test, preparation of the chemicals and storage of the strains which are optimal for all laboratories. Results: The drug samples T6445 and T6447 with 30 µM concentration tested by metabolic activation S9 on bacterial strain ST TA 98 show genotoxicity. The sample UOCHB1 with 30 µM concentration tested without activation shows possible genotoxicity on both strains ST TA 98 and ST TA 100. Other samples do not show any toxicity. I used 3 different procedures during the designation of assay. The most suitable version of the...
