The laboratory strains of yeast Saccharomyces Cerevisiae form colonies which can differentiate into two main cell subpopulations. U and L cells demonstrate different morphology, metabolism and stress-resistance. It was also proved that some of metabolic pathways in U cells are a similar to ones in tumor cells. The unique metabolism is activated in U cells; the TORC1 is active in these cells together with autophagy and glycogen accumulation, which are characteristic for cells with inactivated TORC1. CORVET and HOPS complexes together with vacuolar ATPase are involved in processes related to vacuolar fusion and trafficking. Also, these complexes contribute to the regulation of TORC1 activity. Vam6p is a subunit of HOPS complex and it is also involved in regulation of TORC1 acting as GEF for Gtr1p GTPase, which activates TORC1. The aim of this study was to outline whether selected subunits of mentioned complexes affect TORC1 activity in U cells. Further aim was to confirm the effect of Vam6p on selected proteins production. These proteins were chosen based on results of proteomic analysis performed in our laboratory. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of evaluation of economic development in Visegrad group countries compared to Germany in years from 2009 to 2015. The aim of the thesis is to take down and to evaluate economic development in this period based on the analysis of macroeconomic indicators. In the theoretical part, there are several notions explained, such as the definition of GDP, economic growth rate, unemployment rate, balance of payments or economic cycle. In the practical part, there is an analysis carried out which describes the concrete data development of macroeconomic indicators in Visegrad group countries in comparison to Germany. Subsequently, general characteristics of the countries are deduced. At the end of the thesis, the findings are summarized, and further possibilities of elaboration are foreshadowed.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2017 Diploma thesis is focused on the concept of social housing, with emphasis on the mapping of senior age. Thesis is concentrated on Central European countries - the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, the Republic of Hungary and the Republic of Poland. In the theoretical section describes the basic concepts relating to the topic. After that there was analysed the situation regarding social housing in selected countries. The practical part deals with comparison between social housing systems in the Visegrad group.

The thesis value the demograpfic development in the South Moravian Region in 2008–2017. Demographic structures and events that are embedded in the context of regional development and possibly complemented by the devolpment character from the orcs of 1918 are desribed in the literature review. The aim of this work is to perform a demographic analysis of the South Moravian Region, which is important for the reasoning of future development and prediction of future needs for optimal development of the region. In particular, the growing trend of an aging population is alarming. This tendency should be ensured, for example, by building new homes for the elderly, which are not currently sufficient. Furthermore, it was found that the gross birth rate was decreasing, therefore certain pro-natality measures should be taken. For example, by increasing maternity or child allowance.

This diploma thesis deals with the landscape development, determination of landscape values and description of genius loci in the area of Chlum u Třeboně. The development was monitored within the terms of both microstructure and macrostructure. The landscape macrostructure was evaluated from the statistical data for the use of areas from the first half of the 19th century to the present.The microstructure and its changes since the second half of the 20th was examined by the comparative method using map data supplemented by memories of the local inhabitants and chronicle records.The landscape values determined by field research were indicated into the maps alongside the photographic documentation of selected values.

The diploma thesis deals with structure and evolution of settlement in South-Moravian region. As first was done the review of literature sources, which is focused on evolution of settlement of Czech countryside, demographic transition and typology of countryside. In following chapter is countryside defined according to chosen definitions. There is connected characteristic of countryside areas in individual administrative districts of municipality with extended competence. Also is taken in consideration evolution of population in South-Moravian countryside from long and short viewpoint. Based on point method which contains five indicators (natural growth, migration balance, index of age, commute to work and school) is made typology based on development of countryside. Final typology is divided into four types. Results are interpreted in tables, graphs and cartographical way.

This diploma thesis deals with the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy on the state and the possible development of the rural area in the municipality with extended competence Břeclav. In this issue, attention is paid to the analysis of a particular territory in order to obtain comprehensive information on the development and current state of agriculture. The analytical tools help organize and identify development trends in the sector, and then economically evaluate the impacts of the Common Agricultural Policy on a particular territory. Throughout the work, an increased emphasis is placed on ardor, which is a specific part of the sector in which respondents are more sensitive to changes due to long-term focus.

This diploma thesis analyzes production and price aspects in commodity meat vertical. The literary research defines the necessary terminology that characterizes the current form of agribusiness and the functioning of markets within commodity verticals. The empirical part of diploma thesis is based on use quantitative methods. Main part of diploma thesis is characterized consumer market, processing market and market of primary agricultural production of the examined commodity. Price transmission analysis based on monthly prices of selected products is performed to explain the price context in the meat commodity vertical. To explain the price context in the commodity vertical meat, an analysis of price transmission based on monthly prices of selected products is performed. In the conclusion, the main trends and factors influencing the formation of this vertical in the Czech Republic are summarized.

Biometric measurements of dachshunds were carried out from 2015 to 2018, mainly at exhibitions organized by the Club of Dachshund Breeders of the Czech Republic. The measurement was based on the methodology developed by Ludmila Laufberger in 1960. Subsequently, statistical analysis of measured data and their comparison with both, L. Laufberger's and the breed standard of dachshund were performed. It has been found that all measured parameters has made progress in all measured breeds.
