Implementación de la aplicación Make it Easy

Se observa como la calidad de vida de las personas se ve afectada al tener que realizar muchas actividades, lo que ocasiona que se disponga de escaso tiempo para disfrutar con sus allegados. Asimismo, puede suceder que no se disponga de las habilidades propicias para ejecutar tareas en casa como gasfitería, cerrajería, pintura, limpieza o electricista. Por esta razón, es que se ha desarrollado un novedoso modelo de negocio basado en una aplicación, el cual ofrece simplicidad, seguridad y calidad en cada uno de sus servicios dirigidos al cuidado del hogar, al cual llamamos Make it Easy. Se pretende llegar al cliente final mediante una interacción cercana con ellos con la cual perciban atributos positivos de la marca, mediante acciones en redes sociales y activaciones en puntos estratégicos. Por su parte, respecto a la captación de nuestros técnicos se considera que esta es factible a través de anuncios en distintos lugares como grandes cadenas mejoramiento del hogar en los que se ofrece servicios relacionados o también grandes afiches ubicados en quioscos. Es preciso indicar que nuestro segmento a atender son personas del NSE A y B que viven en la zonas 6 y 7 de la ciudad de Lima, según la clasificación de APEIM; el cual nos brinda un mercado de S/. 13 659 651 del cual pretendemos, con una inversión inicial de S/. 65,409.67, obtener el 1%; así como también obtener un Valor Actual Neto de S/ 191,136.38 y una TIR de 94.2% proyectados a 3 años. / It is observed how the life quality of people is affected while having to carry out a large amount of activities leaving little time to enjoy with friends or family. Also, many times it can happen that you do not have the proper skills to perform tasks at home such as plumbing, locksmith, painting, cleaning or electrician. For this reason, we have developed a new business model, which offers simplicity, safety and quality in each of its services aimed at home care, which we call Make it Easy. It's intended to reach the final customer through a close interaction with them where they can perceive positive attributes of the brand, this will mainly be through actions on social networks and activations at strategic points. Concurrent Van der Woude syndrome and Turner syndrome: A case report

Most cases of Van der Woude syndrome are caused by a mutation to interferon regulatory factor 6 on chromosome 1. Turner syndrome is caused by complete or partial absence of the second sex chromosome in girls. We describe a unique case of the two syndromes occurring concurrently though apparently independently in a girl with Van der Woude syndrome diagnosed at birth and Turner syndrome at 14 years 9 months. Short stature was initially misattributed to Van der Woude syndrome and pituitary insufficiency associated with clefts before correctly diagnosing Turner syndrome. We discuss the prevalence of delayed diagnosis of Turner syndrome, the rarity of reports of concurrent autosomal chromosome mutation and sex chromosome deletion, as well as the need to consider the diagnosis of Turner syndrome in all girls with short stature regardless of prior medical history.

High resolution fluorescence spectra are presented of the sideband of the 5D0+ 7F0 transition of Sm++ in KBr and KCl. Several Van Hove singularities of the phonon spectrum of the host material are directly observed. They occur at slightly different frequenciesfromthose predicted by density of states calculations based on neutron diffraction measurements. Numerical calculations of both sidebands are given and compared with experiment, with quite good agreement. [EN] THE EXTENSION OF VAN HIELE'S MODEL TO THE CONCEPT OF AREA The extension of Van Hiele's model outside the geometrical sphere and of the basic educational levels has been an opened question up to the moment when Professor LLorens read his thesis in 1994 at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Here the concept of local proximity was applied to one of its most visual and geometrical manifestations: the tangent line to a specific point in a curve. Some other possibilities were displayed there, together with a specific methodology to be used, in a similar or more interesting way than this present thesis. Even though a lot of works related to this topic were published and at least five doctoral theses were written, as a progressive extension of the previous one, there are some questions which are still considered to represent a high level of interest. One of these questions, maybe the most relevant for the A level teaching and its mathematical foundations, is represented by the title of this thesis, both for its direct interest and the concept of whole. We have extended Van Hiele's model to the concept of area by formulating the corresponding descriptors and proposing methodological actions which are in favour of the progress of the reasoning process. We have used the decomposition into areas of a mixtilinear trapezium, with visual and numerical components, as a mechanism to approach the first stage of the concept. The numerical component, related to the previous extensions, represents a breakdown. Using as a tool a Socratic interview, in the daily process of feedback of these interviews, we have reached a formulation of the descriptors which later on has been confirmed by means of a standard guideline answered in at least twenty interviews. Apart from that we have developed a written test, which lacks the precision of an interview but with other advantages represented by the use of accurate statistic tools. This test enabled us to verify the existence of two levels of reasoning, previously described, and the possibility to detect them. Hence this work has been able to prove that Van Hiele's model is able to describe the process of reasoning in other pillar of the mathematical analysis. Also it highlights that some educational routines do not favour the right learning of some concepts. There is a high number of students who, despite their academic results, have not reached the third stage. The emphasis in mechanical or algebraic topics decreases the possibility of realizing other type of work which may be more appropriate for a better comprehension. That is to say that, the skill in algebraic tools is not linked to a high level of reasoning. As a consequence, the use of visuals is reopened to debate in order to favour the create learning situations which lead to the increase in the level of reasoning. / [ES] EXTENSIÓN DEL MODELO DE VAN HIELE AL CONCEPTO DE ÁREA La extensión del modelo de van Hiele fuera del ámbito de la geometría y de los niveles educativos elementales fue una cuestión abierta hasta la tesis, leída en 1994 en la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (UPV) por el prof. Llorens, en que se aplicaba al concepto de aproximación local en una de sus manifestaciones más visuales y geométrica: la recta tangente a una curva en un punto. En aquella memoria se sugerían otras posibilidades con tanto o más interés que la desarrollada y, además, se trazó una cierta "metodología" para abordarlas. Aunque se han publicado numerosos trabajos al respecto y, además, se han leído al menos cinco tesis doctorales que cabe considerar continuadoras -al menos, en parte- de aquella memoria, quedan aún pendientes no pocas cuestiones que podemos considerar del máximo interés. Una de ellas, quizá la de mayor repercusión en las cuestiones docentes del bachillerato y de los fundamentos de análisis matemático, tanto por su interés directo como por la relación con el concepto de integral, es la que da título a nuestra memoria. Hemos extendido el modelo de van Hiele al concepto de área formulando los descriptores correspondientes y sugiriendo acciones metodológicas que favorecen el progreso en el nivel de razonamiento. Asimismo, hemos analizado la relación con el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la integral. Todo ello con el esquema de trabajo que, como hemos dicho antes, se ha reiterado en las memorias de doctorado mencionadas. En concreto, hemos usado, como mecanismo para aproximarnos a la fase-1 del concepto, una descomposición en franjas para un trapecio mixtilíneo, con componente visual y numérica. Esa componente numérica supone toda una novedad respecto de las extensiones del modelo antes citadas. Utilizando como herramienta una entrevista socrática, en el habitual proceso de feed-back de estas entrevistas, hemos logrado llegar a la formulación de los descriptores que después se han corroborado usando el guion definitivo en una veintena de entrevistas. Además, hemos desarrollado una prueba escrita que, sin la precisión de la entrevista pero con otras ventajas evidentes, usando las herramientas estadísticas apropiadas, nos ha permitido verificar la existencia de los niveles de razonamiento previamente descritos y la posibilidad de detectarlos. Así pues, con este trabajo se ha probado que el modelo de van Hiele es capaz de describir el proceso de razonamiento en otro pilar más del análisis matemático. Y también evidencia que determinadas rutinas presentes en los sistemas educativos no favorecen el correcto aprendizaje de los conceptos. Hay demasiados estudiantes que no han alcanzado el nivel III pese a que por su nivel académico deberían haberlo hecho, pero el énfasis en cuestiones mecánicas o algebraicas merman la posibilidad de realizar otro tipo de trabajo más adecuado para que se produzca una buena comprensión. Es decir, se ha evidenciado que la destreza en las herramientas algebraicas no va ligada a un nivel de razonamiento elevado. Eixa component numèrica suposa tota una novetat respecte les extensions del model abans dites. Així, amb aquest treball ha quedat provat que el model de van Hiele pot descriure el procés de raonament en altre pilar més de l'anàlisi matemàtica. I també evidencia que determinades rutines presents als sistemes educatius no afavoreixen el correcte aprenentatge dels conceptes. Hi ha massa estudiants que no han aconseguit el nivell III encara que pel seu nivell acadèmic haurien d'haver-lo fet, però l'èmfasi en qüestions mecàniques o algebraiques disminueixen la possibilitat de realitzar altre tipus de treball més adequat per a que es produisca una bona comprensió. És a dir, s'ha evidenciat que la destresa amb les eines algebraiques no va lligada a un nivell de raonament elevat. Ion source for Van De Graaff generator

An r-f ion source has been constructed for the V.P.I. electrostatic generator. The ion source has been in operation for approximately one thousand hours with an average beam current of one micro-ampere. This beam has been sufficient to test and calibrate the accelerator. Experiments which require beam currents in the order of 100 micro-ampere can now be conducted with the ion source operating at its designed capacity. / Master of Science

VPAStab: stabilised vector-Padé approximation with application to linear systems.

No / An algorithm called VPAStab is given for the acceleration of convergence of a sequence of vectors. It combines a method of vector-Padé approximation with a successful technique for stabilisation. More generally, this algorithm is designed to find the fixed point of the generating function of the given sequence of vectors, analogously to the way in which ordinary Padé approximants can accelerate the convergence of a given scalar sequence. VPAStab is justified in the context of its application to the solution of a large sparse system of linear equations. The possible breakdowns of the algorithm are listed. Numerical experiments indicate that these breakdowns can be classified either as pivot-type (type L) or as ghost-type (type D).

Influential factors in the application of flute vibrato

Although it is a compilation of different viewpoints, it does not offer a conclusion as regards the ‘correct’ application of vibrato, due to the subjective nature of this phenomenon. The intention is that the reader will be able to reach his or her own conclusions and form new opinions regarding this subject. The focus is largely on the comparison of the production of vibrato on the flute with its production on other instruments. The aim is to examine the different choices involved in the production of vibrato when the flute is part of an ensemble and when it is a solo instrument. By learning more about other instruments’ timbres and production of vibrato, it enables flautists to adapt to different timbres in order to form sonorous ensembles. The physiological and scientific aspects of vibrato are also explored with the view to equip flautists with this knowledge. Thus, flautists will be able to listen to and analyse from a more critical and informed perspective how they themselves use vibrato and how other flautists use it. The main goal of this thesis is to provide enough information, opinions, studies and statistics to enable a flautist to make an informed decision concerning their choice and application of vibrato.

Bevriending en bevreemding in Sprokkelster en Groenstaar van Marlene van Niekerk

Thesis (MA)--Stellenbosch University, 1996. / ENGLISH ABSTRACT: Amity and estrangement in the poetry of Marlene van Niekerk are investigated in this dissertation according to various poetic aspects: figurisation, time and space, musicality, love poetry and Godly experience. The first chapter introduces the concepts of "amity" and "estrangement" by way of contextual definition. I shall endeavour to show, inter alia, how these two concepts are already present in the titles of the two poetry volumes of Marlene van Niekerk, Sprokkelster and Groenstaar. Figurisation is discussed in chapter 2. The term "figurisation", i.e. the embodiment of form or figure, is briefly described, followed by a discussion of "figurisation" in nine selected poems and the manifestation of amity and estrangement therein. Chapter three focuses on time and space in the poetry of Van Niekerk and of the presence, also here, of amity and estrangement. First the concepts of "time" and "space" are explained, followed by a discussion of ten poems with specific emphasis on the well-known expanse of South Africa, as opposed to the less well known cosmos of Europe — particularly the Netherlands. I highlight, inter alia, the contrast between these two areas as well as the estrangement that Van Niekerk experienced from the country of her birth during her stay abroad. Chapter four deals with one of the most striking features of the poetry of Van Niekerk — that of musicality. After the term "musicality" is briefly described, seven poems are discussed to illustrate the musicality therein, whilst keeping the focus on amity and estrangement. The theme of love is dealt with in the fifth chapter. The poetry of Van Niekerk is, according to Cloete (1978:173), "so filled with realism that it shows little interest in the personal". In the few love poems that are present in her two poetry volumes, the world around the "I" enjoys preference over the beloved, with the beloved experienced largely through images of nature. The penultimate chapter is devoted to the manner in which Van Niekerk experiences the presence of God. Six poems are analyzed to substantiate this, and to show the appearance of amity and estrangement here. The salient points of the presence of amity and estrangement and the significance of these two elements in the poetic oeuvre of Marlene van Niekerk, are encapsulated in the concluding chapter. / AFRIKAANSE OPSOMMING: In die tesis word bevriending en bevreemding in die poesie van Marlene van Niekerk aan die hand van verskillende aspekte van die poesie ondersoek: figurering, tyd en ruimte, musikaliteit, liefdesverse en Godsbelewing. Hoofstuk 1 dien as inleiding waarin onder andere die begrippe "bevriending" en "bevreemding" omskryf word. Ek sal aandui hoe hulle reeds in die titels van Marlene van Niekerk se twee digbundels, Sprokkelster en Groenstaar, aanwesig is. Figurering word in die tweede hoofstuk bespreek. Eerstens word die begrip "figurering", nl. die gee van vorm aan gestalte of figuur, kortliks omskryf. Daarna word figurering in nege gedigte bespreek, en word ook aangedui hoe bevriending en bevreemding daarin voorkom. Een van die opvallendste kenmerke van Van Niekerk se poesie, naamlik musikaliteit, kom aan die bod in Hoofstuk 4. Eerstens word die begrip "musikaliteit" kortliks beskryf. Daarna word sewe gedigte ter illustrasie bespreek, terwyl terselfdertyd gewys word op bevriending en bevreemding. Hoofstuk 5 handel oor die tema liefde. Volgens Cloete (1978:175) is Van Niekerk se poesie "so vol van die werklikheid dat dit weinig geinteresseerd is in die personale". In die enkele liefdesverse wat in haar twee digbundels voorkom, geniet die wereld rondom die ek dan ook voorkeur b6 die geliefde en word die geliefde meestal deur natuurbeelde heen beleef. In Hoofstuk 6 word Van Niekerk se belewing van God aan die hand van ses gedigte bespreek. Daar word aangedui hoe bevriending en bevreemding ook hier teenwoordig is. Die slothoofstuk is 'n kort samevatting van die bespreking van bevriending en bevreemding in die voorafgaande hoofstukke.
