Undersökning om applicerbarhet av Module Type Package för bioprocess-system designade på CytivaEstebring, Hannes January 2023 (has links)
PLC-system har funnits ute i industrin sedan sent 1970-tal och appliceras på miljontals olika processer. Företag inom processindustrin står idag inför stora utmaningar då en instabil marknad ställer krav på en mer hållbar och flexibel infrastruktur. Krav på ökad produktion, bättre kvalité och lägre kostnader har fått fler företag att försöka gå över till modulära automationssystem. Syftet med detta examensarbete är att undersöka applicerbarheten av Module Type Package (MTP) på Cytivas UNICORN-styrsystem och därefter ta fram en arbetsmetod samt eventuell mjukvara som gör detta möjligt. Arbetet valdes att utföras på Cytivas nya automationsplattform för UNICORN™-styrsystemet genom praktisk undersökning av instrumentkonfigurationer på en specifik grupp av deras bioprocesssystem. Med specifikationer och datablad som blev tillförsedda från de tekniska organen NAMUR och VDI/VDE som utvecklar MTP undersöktes en instrumentkonfiguration med fokus på struktur och uppbyggnad. Utifrån dessa undersökningar designades och utvecklades en mjukvara som kunde ta fram MTP-kompatibla data för validering och test med mjukvaruverktyg utvecklade av COPADATA. Arbetet resulterade i slutsatsen att MTP är möjligt att applicera på Cytivas bioprocesssystem med ny automationsplattform. Fortsatt arbete krävs för att ta fram en arbetsmetod samt att mjukvara i framtiden bör utvecklas vidare. / PLC systems have existed in the industry since the late 1970s and are applied worldwide to millions of different processes. Companies in the process industry today face major challenges as an unstable market demands a more sustainable and flexible infrastructure. Demands for increased production, better quality and lower costs have caused more companies to try to switch to modular automation systems. The aim of this thesis is to examine the applicability of Module Type Package (MTP) on Cytiva's UNICORN control system and then develop a working method and possible software that makes this possible. With specifications and data sheets supplied from the technical bodies NAMUR and VDI/VDE, an instrument configuration was investigated with a focus on its structure. Based on these investigations a software was designed and developed that could produce MTP-compatible data for validation and testing using software tools developed by COPADATA. The work resulted in the conclusion that MTP is possible to apply to Cytiva's bioprocess systems with their new automation platform. Continued work is required to develop a working method, and that the software that was created should be further developed and improved.

Die Präsentation stellt kurz die Grundlagen der Berechnung von Schraubenverbindungen in Anlehnung an die VDI-Richtlinie 2230 Teil 1 dar. Auch die vier FEM-Modellklassen, die die VDI 2230 Teil 2 (Entwurf) zur Berechnung von Mehrschraubenverbindungen vorschlägt, werden behandelt, und die in Creo Simulate vorhandenen Softwarefeatures zu deren Umsetzung vorgestellt.
Es folgt eine Darstellung, was bei der Linearisierung von Schraubenverbindungen zur vereinfachten Berechnung zu beachten ist, und wieso bei der Berechnung im FEM-System dann nicht notwendigerweise eine Vorspannung benötigt wird.
Ausführlich wird das neue Schraubenfeature in Creo Simulate betrachtet, das eine weitgehend automatisierte Modellierung und Berechnung von Standardverschraubungen erlaubt. Weitere Features, wie die neuen Vorspannelemente, werden erläutert, sowie auch die Grenzen der Software aufgezeigt.
Abschließend werden zwei anspruchsvolle Anwendungsbeispiele vorgestellt: Eine zentrisch belastete Verschraubung mit Berücksichtigung von Elasto-Plastizität und einer komplexen Lasthistorie (Anziehen durch Anzugsmoment, Setzeffekte, Entfall des Torsionsmomentes durch das Anziehen, Betriebskraft) sowie eine exzentrisch belastete Verschraubung, die wegen eines relativ dünnen Flansches starke Biegezusatzbeanspruchungen erfährt. / The presentation shows the foundations of bolt analysis according to VDI-guideline 2230 part 1. In addition, the four FEM model classes proposed in VDI 2230 part 2 (draft) are described, as well as the features available in Creo Simulate to realize these model classes.
Next, the presentation shows the requirements for linearizing bolted connections, and why in a FEM analysis with a linearized connection no preload is necessary.
The new fastener feature introduced in Creo Simulate is explained in detail. This feature allows the automated modeling and analysis of bolted connections having standard geometry. Further software features, like pretension elements, as well as the current software limitations are shown.
Finally, two advanced application examples are shown: A centrically loaded bolted connection taking into account elasto-plasticity and a complex load history (tightening torque, embedding, removal of tightening stress, operational load), and an eccentrically loaded flange connection, which is subjected to high additional bending loads because the flange is relatively thin.

I en värld där kraven på flexibilitet, säkerhet och hårdvaruoptimering är nyckelfaktorer när det kommer till att välja IT-miljöer för företag blir virtuella skrivbord mer och mer poulära. Med dessa miljöer finns det också problem när det kommer till användarupplevelsen om nätverket ifråga inte kan uppfylla de krav som ett sådant system ställer. I detta arbete undersöks implikationerna vissa nätverksvariabler kan ha för en Virtual Desktop-infrastruktur, VDI. För att belysa dessa problem har två tester utförts på en VDI miljö. Det första testet gick ut på att mäta latensen då skrivbordsmiljön renderades för klienten från virtualiseringsservern vid olika nätverksdiamterar. Det andra testet gick ut på att mäta samma latens vid olika nätverksbelasting på anslutningen mellan klienten och virtualiseringsservern. När det blev tydligt att nyckelfaktorn var nätverksbelastningen skapades ett test för att undersöka klientens möjlighet till påverkan av bandbredden. Överföringen av data till användarens lokala skrivbord som i förlängningen huseras på virtualiseringsservern tog upp hela bandbredden och lämnade inget för VDI-trafiken och stänger i förlängningen ner hela VDI systemet. Detta löstes genom att implementera Quality Of Service medelst Traffic Policing . Därmed kan användarens möjlighet att nyttja bandbredden till virtualiseringsservern begränsas. / In a world where the demand for flexibility, security, and hardware optimization are key factors when it comes to implementing a corporate IT environment Virtual Desktop solutions a gaining more and more ground. With these environments there are also issues when it comes to user experience if the network in question is unable to fulfill the specifications that such an environment requires. We have looked at the implications some network variables might have for a VDI solution. To shed a light on these issues we have conducted two tests in an VDI environment. The first test consisted of measuring the latency at which the desktop on the client was rendered from the virtualization server at different network sizes. The second test was to measure the same latency at different bandwidth loads on the line between the client and the Virtualization Host. As we realised that the key factor was the bandwidth load, we made a test to measure the way a client could influence that bandwidth. We saw that by transferring data to the desktop (i.e. the Virtualization Host) one user could personally take up the whole bandwidth and leave noting for the VDI traffic, rendering it useless. This was solved by implementing Quality of Service in the form of Traffic policing, thus restricting the amount of bandwidth the user could use for file transfers.
