Com ele, e a partir de entrevistas fechadas com estudantes secundárias, procuramos verificar se os projetos de vida e as perspectivas das mulheres negras estarão marcados por alguma experiência de estereotipagem, que absorvem o feminino e a raça como verdadeiros estigmas. Em um plano mais geral, a questão é saber se as condições de vida adversas no campo social- o que inclui as discriminações e os efeitos do machismo- marcam as mulheres negras adolescentes a ponto de negarem um futuro para elas. Mais especificamente, trata-se de saber se o estereótipo, enquanto mecanismo de violência simbólica, acaba por determinar subjetivamente o seu lugar social e o seu projeto de vida enquanto membro de uma sociedade marcada pelo racismo. É nossa hipótese que a questão racial e a questão de gênero, em algumas de suas variantes, ainda permanecem como referência- problema para o contigente de mulheres negras adolescente que pensam sobre suas vidas para além do ensino médio. / Abstract: The present work inserts it self in a field of concerns that turn around the relation established between black adolescent woman and discriminations. What bases this work is to verify if the projects of life and the perspectives of these black adolescent women, will be marked by some experience of estereotipagem that absorb the feminine and the race as true stigmata. This fact finishes for determining its social place and its future while member of a definite society as racist. This process is understood in this work as violence. Specifically, the question is to know if, those that had obtained to survive the more general conditions of life, economic situation, discriminations, male chauvunist, etc, and the spite of all the problems of the public schools, the black adolescent women that enter and conclude the high schooI, have its projects of life marked by experiences of life contaminated by having suffered with situations from racial violence It's our expectation to see proven that the racial question in some of its variants, still remains as reference problem for the contingent of black adolescent women that thinks on its lives for beyond the high schooI. / Mestre

Considerando-se as formas de inserção (voluntária e involuntária), procuramos compreender e discutir os papéis atribuídos as cangaceiras e sua condição específica de "ser mulher" num espaço permeado pela violência. Neste sentido, será relevante considerar o desempenho com armas de fogo e a atuação de cada uma delas nos embates violentos em que estiveram envolvidas. E ainda, a preocupação com o embelezamento do corpo, o apreço por jóias e apetrechos diversos, identificados sobretudo, na composição de suas vestimentas que, traduzem um determinado perfil de mulher. Tomando por base este tipo de problemática, uma das preocupações desta pesquisa é analisar as vivências interpessoais no interior dos grupos a partir da bibliografia especializada, de obras de memorialistas que trabalharam o tema, e de outras fontes como: depoimentos orais, entrevistas, documentários, fotografias, imprensa e literatura de cordel. / Abstract: This dissertation has the aim to discuss the women's practices and representations in the cangaço from 1930 to 1940, time that started their incorporation in the bands. Considering the ways of joining them (volunteer or not), we searched the comprehension and discussion of the roles given to the cangaceiras and their specific condition of "being a woman" in a space characterized by the violence. In this sense, it will be relevant to consider the performance with guns and the deeds of each of them in the violent fights in which they were involved. Also, the worry about the beauty of the body, the liking for jewels and several accessories identified, specially, in the combination of their clothing, which translates a determined profile of woman. Basing ourselves on this kind of problem, one of the concerns of this research is to analyze the interpersonal experiences inside the groups from specialized bibliography of memoir authors that worked on the topic and other sources, such as: oral testimonies, interviews, documentaries, photos, press and cordel literature. / Mestre

Orientador: Neide Aparecida de Souza Lehfeld / Resumo: O presente estudo investiga a problemática que envolve a compreensão das representações sociais de mulheres que dedicaram dez anos de suas vidas somente ao lar e retornaram ao mercado de trabalho. A metodologia adotada foi a pesquisa qualitativa e a técnica utilizada foi a da história de vida, na qual três mulheres foram submetidas a entrevistas para a composição de suas histórias, sendo estas gravadas e, posteriormente, transcritas e analisadas. Os resultados encontrados revelaram que a mulher organiza suas representações sociais, baseada em um sistema de interpretações complexo, que envolve o meio em que vive sob o contexto do momento, no qual as representações de retorno ao trabalho transparecem-se fundamentadas em concepções do mundo público, como o mundo do trabalho, e o mundo privado, como o doméstico, ligado ao lar e à família. Estas duas concepções se entrelaçam e aparecem, respectivamente, nas histórias de vida das entrevistadas, tendo correlação com a atual transição de sociedade industrial para a pós-industrial, pela qual o Brasil está passando. / Abstract: The present study investigate the problematic that involves the understanding social representation of women who had dedicated ten years of their lives to the home and returned to the work market. The adopted methodology is the qualitative research and the used technique was the life history, in wich three womem had been submitted to interviews for the composition of their histories, being these recorded and later transcribing and analyzed. The results show that the woman organizes her social representations, based in a complex system of interpretations, that the present living environment wich the representations of return to the work are transparent and based in conceptions of the public world, as the world of the work; and the private world, as the domestic servant, to the home and the family. These two conceptions interlace and appear, respectively, in histories of life of the interviewed and have correlation with the current transition Brazil is passing, from industrial to postindustrial society. / Mestre

Com as transformações ocorridas na sociedade, a subsistência das famílias foi-se tornando cada vez mais difícil, o salário dos maridos não era mais suficiente, e as mulheres precisavam trabalhar e contribuir para o orçamento doméstico. Desta forma, a mulher, hoje, descobriu-se enquanto ser social, está revisando seu espaço organizacional e passou a fazer parte do mundo do trabalho. Está assumindo uma dupla jornada de trabalho, pois continua exercendo suas funções de dona de casa, esposa, mãe e, muitas vezes, também desempenha o papel de chefe de família. Dado essas modificações que vêem se processando no decorrer dos anos, em relação aos papéis e funções desempenhadas pelas mulheres, entendemos ser significativo investigar o que se passa com este segmento da população e como tem conseguido conciliar a relação trabalho/família. Assim sendo, o presente estudo analisa o enfrentamento das questões trabalho/família, no cotidiano das mulheres funcionárias da Universidade Católica Dom Bosco - UCDB, para verificarmos se o trabalho lhes dá condições de um maior crescimento profissional, social e intelectual e se está propiciando melhoria da qualidade de vida às famílias. A pesquisa está embasada no referencial teórico do materialismo dialético, do tipo qualitativa. O universo foi constituído pelas mulheres do corpo docente e técnico administrativo da UCDB, representado por uma amostragem de 04 funcionárias, sendo: 01 professora, 01 do setor administrativo e 02 dos serviços gerais. Entrevistamos também 01 membro de cada família das mulheres pesquisadas - 02 maridos e 02 filhas - para conhecer as relações familiares e poder fazer a correlação trabalho/família...(Resumo completo, clicar acesso eletrônico abaixo) / Abstract: The accelerated process of urbanization, from the years 50, onwards accompanied by industrialization and economic growth, brought changes in values and a redefinition in the roles of the woman. With the changes ocurred in society, the susbsistency of the families became more difficult, the salary of husbands was not any more enough, and the women needed to work and contribute to the domestic budget. In this way, the woman today, discovered herself as a social being reviewing her organizational space, and she became part of the world of work. She is assuming a double journey of work because she continues with her functions of housewife, wife, mother and, many times, perform the role of the head of the family. Due to these changes in the process as the years go by in relation to the role and functions of women, we understand it's meaningful to investigate what happens with this part of the population and how they have managed to conciliate the relation work/family. The present study analises the facing of the questions work/family in the daily life of working women of the Universidade Católica Dom Bosco - UCDB, to check if work gives them the chance of professional, social and intelectual growth and if it is providing a better quality of life to the families. The research is based on the theorical reference of dialetical materialism, from the qualitative type. The universe was formed by a sampling of 04 working women, being 01 teacher, 01 from the administrative sector and 02 from the general services. We also interviewed 01 member of each family of the researched women - 02 husbands and 02 daughters - to know the family relations and to be able to correlate work/family. Trabalhamos com mulheres que mantêm um relacionamento fixo com um companheiro, que tem filhos e que mantêm um vínculo de trabalho fora do lar. Foi utilizada a técnica de entrevista semi- estruturada e na análise dos dados utilizamos a teoria psicanalítica. Consideramos a mulher e o seu envolvimento com o trabalho, a maternidade, o relacionamento afetivo e a feminilidade. Percebemos mulheres que buscam em seu trabalho uma forma de ajuda-las a crescer. A maternidade mantém-se ainda como um espaço de realização pessoal para a maioria. E o relacionamento afetivo mostra-se como a área onde a mulher mais investe seus recursos buscando seu bem estar, investindo a sua afetividade na manutenção e crescimento deste relacionamento. Percebemos que a mulher tem buscado se valorizar mais, apesar de constatarmos que a submissão e falta de confiança em si mesma é uma constante no universo com o qual trabalhamos. / Abstract: This research had the purpose to find out the aspects of women's phychic action at present. We worked with women who are keeping a permanent relationship with a partner, growing children and tied to a job out of home. The practice of semi-structured interviews was used as well as the psychoanalytical theory in the data analysis. We considered the women and their further engagement with work, motherhood, affective relationships and feminineness. We could notice that there are women who seek a way to improve themselves in their own jobs. Motherhood has still been considered as a space of personal achievement for most of them. And affective relationship appears as an area where women invest more their resources, having in mind their well being, and then investing their affection, to manage and develop that relationship. It was also noticed that those women have been trying to appreciate better themselves, despite the evidence of their submission and lack of self-reliance as a constant in the universe we have worked on. / Mestre

Nosso foco, aqui, se volta para a literatura, mais especificamente para dois autores que acreditamos trabalhar com perfis do ideário medieval. O primeiro, Thomas Malory, viveu durante o século XV, e compôs a obra mais alta do ciclo arturiano na Idade Média inglesa. Já o segundo, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, é um autor do século XX; é trazido à luz devido à harmonia que, acreditamos, existe entre a caracterização de suas personagens femininas e alguns elementos medievais - alguns, inclusive, do próprio ciclo arturiano. Valendo-nos da teoria literária e de algumas teorias críticas feministas, investigamos a representação da mulher nas obras A morte de Artur, de Malory, e O senhor dos anéis, de Tolkien. Após contextualizarmos historicamente o papel da mulher na sociedade, identificamos as características das personagens femininas que condizem (ou não) com determinados perfis, propondo, também, uma análise comparativa entre as duas obras supracitadas. / Abstract: The issue of woman representation is an instigating theme, related to social, economic and political spheres. Our focus, here, is directed to literature, more specifically to two authors we believe that deal with medieval ideary profiles. The first of them, Thomas Malory, lived during the 15th century, and wrote the masterpiece of the Arthurian Cycle in English Middle Ages. The second, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, is a 20th century author; he is brought in due to the harmony we believe there is between the characterization of his female characters and some medieval elements - some of them from the Arthurian Cycle itself. Based on literary theory and some feminist critical theories, we investigated women representation in the works Le Morte Darthur, by Thomas Malory, and The Lord of the Rings, by Tolkien. After contextualizing woman's role historically in society, we identified female characters aspects that match (or not) with some profiles, proposing, also, a comparative analysis between the two works. / Mestre

Valendo-nos de referências teórico-metodológicas da Sociologia da Literatura e de críticos da literatura africana para realizar o estudo do romance moçambicano Niketche: uma História de Poligamia. A partir dos elementos presentes na narrativa daremos destaque a mulher moçambicana, evidenciando como os períodos de colonização, independência e pós-independência influenciaram na construção das relações de gênero. / Abstract: The present dissertation "The look at a culture e society in Mozambique: the ficcional and reality in the Niketche: a History of Polygamy" intends to realize an interpretation of some aspects of the reality of the society and culture contemporary of Mozambique, in special about the role performed by the woman. Thus, the study will be conducted on references theoretic-metodology of the sociology of the literature and critic of African literature to prove an analysis of the mozambican romance Niketche: a History of Polygamy. Orientador: Íris Fenner Bertani / Banca: Regina Maura Rezende / Banca: Adriana Giaqueto / Resumo: Este trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma aproximação da realidade vivenciada pelas mulheres que fazem uso do Ambulatório de Planejamento Familiar, equipamento de saúde pertencente à Secretaria Municipal de Saúde no município de Franca /SP. Trabalhamos como assistente social neste ambulatório desde a sua implantação em maio de 2000, o que nos possibilitou uma maior compreensão dos aspectos relativos à vida sexual e reprodutiva das usuárias, despertando nosso interesse em estudar e pesquisar assuntos pertinentes as suas vidas na tarefa de ser mulher, trabalhadora e mãe. Pesquisamos qual conhecimento estas mulheres têm sobre o planejamento familiar, considerando serem elas as maiores usuárias dos serviços de saúde e, em geral, quem decide qual método contraceptivo será usado pelo casal, mesmo quando quem vai se submeter à cirurgia de esterilização seja o seu companheiro. Justifica-se nosso interesse no descortinamento dessa realidade, pois munidas dessas reflexões elas poderão ter maiores condições de decidirem sobre suas vidas, mesmo dentro do contexto e influência da sociedade a qual pertencem e do meio em que vivem. Utilizamo-nos da pesquisa quantitativa e qualitativa. Para a abordagem quantitativa aplicamos questionário a sessenta mulheres usuárias do Ambulatório de Planejamento Familiar. Realizamos a pesquisa qualitativa entrevistando seis mulheres selecionadas aleatoriamente deste universo. A análise favoreceu a elaboração de um perfil das usuárias do ambulatório, bem como identificação das crenças e valores por elas relatados. O estudo favoreceu uma compreensão da vida dessas mulheres que ressaltam a maternidade como umas das vantagens em ser mulher, mas num paradoxo a colocam como um peso, um fardo, e expressam suas insatisfações em se aterem à vida privada, deixando explícito o desejo de se interarem do mundo público. / Abstract: This research has as objective to do an approach of the reality lived by the women that make use of the Clinic of Family Planning, equipment of health belonging to the Municipal Secretariat of Health in the municipal district of Franca / SP. We worked as social worker in this clinic from the implantation in May of 2000, what made possible us a larger understanding of the relative aspects to the users' sexual and reproductive life, rousing our interest in to study and to research pertinent subjects their lives in the task of being woman, worker and mother. We researched which knowledge these women have about the family planning, considering be them the largest users of the services of health and, in general, who decides which contraceptive method will be used by the couple, same when who will submit to the sterilization surgery is his companion. It is justified our interest in the discovery of that reality, because starting from those reflections they can have larger conditions of they decide about their lives, same inside of the context and influence of the society which they belong and of the middle in that they live. We used ourselves of the quantitative and qualitative research. For the quantitative approach we applied questionnaire to sixty women users of the Clinic of Family Planning. We realized the qualitative research interviewing six women of this universe randomly selected. The analysis favored the elaboration of a profile of the users of the clinic, as well as identification of the beliefs and values for them told. The study favored an understanding of those women's life that they emphasize the maternity as some of the advantages in being woman, but in a paradox they put it about a weight, a burden, and they express their dissatisfactions in detain to the private life, leaving explicit the desire of will acquaint of the public world. / Mestre

Desenvolvida a partir de uma perspectiva histórico-cultural, essa temática centrou-se na análise de fenômenos/temas/fatos em torno dos feminismos, suas representações e apropriações, expressos no debate sobre a sexualidade feminina e a luta por igualdade política mais atenta aos direitos civis em relação aos homens. Tais temas foram apropriados, capitalizados e devolvidos às leitoras como discursos ideológicos materializados na prestação de serviços pelas revistas Claudia e Querida que viam, nas ditas redefinições, ora um fenômeno de mudança cultural de caráter revolucionário, ora acomodações de práticas sociais modernas, que se afirmavam em meio às disputas com os segmentos que defendiam as ideologias tradicionais, voltadas às ações das mulheres nos espaços públicos e privados. Das principais fontes utilizadas, foram selecionadas matérias informativas sobre assuntos diversos, considerados de interesse das leitoras, como a atuação política, os direitos das mulheres, o casamento, o desquite e o divórcio e o controle da natalidade, além das seções de cartas e colunas de "consultório sentimental", que circularam em vários exemplares de Claudia e Querida, entre os anos de 1960 e 1979. / Abstract: The central theme of this work was the verification of how the representations of a new type of woman was built in Brazil, during the 1960's and 70's, through the examination of two periodicals, the magazines Claudia and Querida. Based on a cultural-historical point of view, this theme was centered upon the analysis of facts, themes and phenomenon concerning feminism, its representations and appropriations expressed in the debate about female sexuality and the struggle for political equality, particularly on the civil rights in respect of men. Such topics were appropriated, capitalized and returned to the women, readers of those magazines, as ideological discourses manifested in the format of services carried out by Claudia and Querida, which considered the redefinitions of the new woman, either a phenomenon of cultural change marked by revolutionary features, or adjustments of modern social practices being affirmed among the disputes with segments of traditional ideologies defenders, concerning women's actions in public and private spaces. Informative issues on several subjects were chosen from the main sources, taking into account the interest of female readers such as political actions, women's rights, marriage, divorce, birth control besides the letters and sentimental advisory sections, which were easily found in various copies of Claudia and Querida in the 1960's and 70's. / Doutor

Orientador: Cleide Antonia Rapucci / Banca: Altamir Botoso / Banca: Antônio Roberto Esteves / Resumo: O objetivo deste trabalho é demarcar o espaço da escritora Nélida Piñon na literatura de autoria feminina, refletindo sobre as vias de acesso que se abriram quando ela retomou uma das personagens mais conhecidas e míticas da história da Literatura Universal, Scherezade, no romance Vozes do deserto (2004). Este estudo permitiu que se realizasse uma reflexão mais acurada sobre a construção desta personagem a partir da perspectiva da critica feminista (SHOWALTER, 1994) e que se revelasse a condição feminina em um sistema hegemônico, coercivo e patriarcal que legitima as situações de poder, submissão, opressão e violência em relação às mulheres. Sendo assim, este trabalho é um convite para que se conheça a contribuição de Nélida Piñon à luz da evolução contemporânea e da emancipação consciente das mulheres que ousaram transgredir os limites do tempo e espaço em prol de sua visibilidade, independência, liberdade e reconhecimento como sujeito da história. Esses aspectos permitem contemplar as três fases: feminina, feminista e mulher, da literatura de autoria feminina estabelecidas por Elaine Showalter. Apesar de esta obra de Nélida Piñon ser ainda pouco estudada pela crítica brasileira, ela é importante também para os estudos da ginocrítica devido ao discurso crítico especializado sobre os textos produzidos por mulheres. Esta dissertação pretende valorizar o ser mulher que protagoniza não somente a história, mas a ascensão do seu próprio destino no mundo. Em conclusão, a escritora é nome de relevo para o universo literário brasileiro, sendo uma profunda conhecedora da história das mulheres e, portanto, atenta e comprometida com o atual cenário sócio-político cultural brasileiro / Abstract: The genesis of this work is to demarcate the area of the writer Nélida Piñon in the female authorship literature reflecting about the access roads that were opened when the author retook one of the most well-known and mythical character of the Universal Literature - Scherezade - in the novel Voices of the Desert (2004). So, this study allowed to realize a more accurate reflection about this character's construction from the perspective of feminist criticism (SHOWALTER, 1994) bringing out the feminine condition in a hegemonic system, coercity and patriarchal that legitimizes the power situations, submission, oppression and violence against women. Therefore, this work is an invitation to know Nélida Piñon's contribution in contemporary evolution and women's emancipation awareness who dared to transgress the boundaries of time and space to promote their visibility, independence, freedom and recognition as a subject of the history. These aspects allow to gaze on the three phases: feminine, feminist and female of the Women's literature established by Elaine Showalter. Although this novel has been little researched by Brazilian criticism yet, it is also important to the gynocritical studies because the gynocriticism speech is a critical and specialized speech about texts written by women. So, this dissertation intends to enhance (value) the female who stars not only the history but makes possible the rise of her own destiny in the world. To conclude, the writer is outstanding name for the Brazilian Literary Universe and she demonstrates a deep knowledge about women's history and, therefore, attentive and compromised with the current social political and cultural Brazilian scenery / Mestre
