Fayad, Daphne de Castro January 2015 (has links)
Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Centro de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas, Programa de Pós-Graduação em Psicologia, Florianópolis, 2015. / Made available in DSpace on 2016-04-19T04:08:55Z (GMT). A true woman, in her uncompromising nature as woman" is a statement about Madeleine Gide contained in an article by Lacan, originally published in May 1958. The present thesis questions this statement as, since the time of Freud, we do not state a "truth" about sexuality with a clear division between men and women. Lacan?s text, The youth of Gide, or the letter and desire, opens with a stretch of Medea by Euripides (431 BC) and its content includes a brief comparison of the two couples Jason/Medea and André Gide/Madeleine. Based on the equivalence established by Lacan between Medea?s murder of her own children and Madeleine?s incineration of the letters exchanged during more than thirty years between her and the writer André Gide, her husband and cousin, these two women are presented as examples of what is true in a woman. Starting from the references in Lacan's text, especially the tragedy of Euripides and the biographical sources of Madeleine and André Gide, this thesis expands upon the debate about women and the feminine in psychoanalysis, articulating the theoretical developments of Lacan about the subject until the 1960s to those of Freud, seeking to shed light on their most important elements and apparent contradictions. This approach is supported by the analysis of letters and entries in Madeleine?s journal and also Euripides' tragedy, in which the myth of Jason and Medea is perpetuated. Through the clarification provided by these sources, a limit to the conceptual status that can describe the affirmation of a "true woman" is indicated. In addition, these sources open a wide field of possible matches with the concepts involved in the subject of the feminine in psychoanalysis.

This study aims to analyze hysteria and feminine concept through psychoanalysis, realizing the approach points and differences between them. Hysteria allowed Sigmund Freud to create psychoanalysisand he dedicated himself, throughout his work, among other things, the desire and the feminine soul, so that he was known with his famous phrase: after all, what does a woman want? Based now in psychoanalysis father's question, and directing it to the research topic, we propose to analyze hysteria and feminine position, all this related to the concept of body, language and enjoyment, in an attempt to link hysteria and femininity, possibilities and impossibilities, moorings points and distinctions, marriage and separation, allowing a new reflection to think hysteria and feminine position.

O retrato da mulher hoje : realidade e desejos /

Moro, Giselda Aparecida. January 2002 (has links)
Abstract: This research had the purpose to find out the aspects of women's phychic action at present. We worked with women who are keeping a permanent relationship with a partner, growing children and tied to a job out of home. The practice of semi-structured interviews was used as well as the psychoanalytical theory in the data analysis. We considered the women and their further engagement with work, motherhood, affective relationships and feminineness. We could notice that there are women who seek a way to improve themselves in their own jobs. Motherhood has still been considered as a space of personal achievement for most of them. And affective relationship appears as an area where women invest more their resources, having in mind their well being, and then investing their affection, to manage and develop that relationship. It was also noticed that those women have been trying to appreciate better themselves, despite the evidence of their submission and lack of self-reliance as a constant in the universe we have worked on. / Mestre

The changes in the sphere of maternity are remarkable phenomena throughout the history of humanity, considering that they are experiences constituted by multiple factors. As much as psychoanalysis has attempted to distinguish in terms of maternal and paternal roles, new family configurations and the demands of contemporary life escape any protocolary attempt to define for the parental couple how they should position themselves before their children. The senses of motherhood have been changing, and today women are increasingly distanced from a transgenerational transmission of the elements of motherhood. This scenario raises some concepts coined by psychoanalysis that, in our view, do not fit with the family and social organizations present in our times. In this sense, the aim of the present thesis is to discuss the reinventions of women regarding the process of becoming a mother facing the contingencies of the contemporary, tensioning them to the Winnicottian conception of motherhood. This thesis obeyed the principles and methodological resources of the psychoanalytic research, among them the interpretation and the transference of the researcher to the researched material, besides having the theoretical reference of Winnicottian Psychoanalysis to base the discussion. In order to carry out the research, seven maternity blogs were used to access a discursive material produced by women who report their experiences in this field. This locus of research made possible the understanding that the writing of oneself in these spaces can act as a means of elaborating the maternal experience, constituting as creative exits, which leads us to highlight a possible articulation between the Ciberculture and the notion of potential space described by Winnicott. We conclude that flexibilization regarding the roles of father and mother in our culture underlies our initial assumption that the conceptualization on motherhood and understanding of the parental roles present in Winnicott's theory need to be revisited.

Considering the rodriguean theater’s virulence and the art’s power of giving expression to the unconscious creations, we suppose Nelson Rodrigues dramaturgy may carry important contributions on the psychoanalyst knowledge improvement about female sexuality. For that, this study has taken as analysis material the plays: Senhora dos Afogados(Lady of the Drowned), Vestido de Noiva (The Wedding Dress) and A Serpente (The Serpent. Based on Psychoanalysis theoretical references, Freudian concepts of unconscious, drive, repression, Oedipus complex, early Oedipus complex, castration complex, identification e superego were fundamental to guide this investigation; as well as the drama category action. The present research was bibliographic and sought, by the plays discourse analysis, to stick to the Rodrigues writing subtlety, as a sort of discourse transmitted by words and action. Thereby, Nelson Rodrigues theater’s women showed themselves, above all, rapt by passion and voluptuousness, in name of a “want” that exceeds desire and the meeting with the object; “want” also seems to lean on the shape of “another woman”, depository of an ambivalent love par excellence.
