The objective of this diploma thesis was to create suggestions of biological excursions for the pupils of the second grade of elementary schools in Ústí nad Labem region. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, excursion as the organisational form of education with the focus on the specifics of biological excursion including the educational goals and methods, is shortly introduced. In the following part, there is the characteristic of scientific disciplines and particular types of biological excursions. The practical part presents suggestions for three biological excursions. Each of the suggested subjects contains detailed manual for preparation and the process of excursion itself including the final part. Materials including the description of the route, information about the locality, worksheets including answers and additional information to each of the questions are also incorporated. This diploma thesis is dedicated to teaching botany, and is focused namely on lessons concerning toxic plants. The first part deals with creating of worksheets for secondary school students for field trip into Botanic Garden of Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. The second part compares effectiveness of classical lesson and the field trip. Students of the first grades from four secondary schools (grammar schools) were divided into two groups.The first group was taught by classic conventional teaching in classroom (control group) and the second group (experimental) was taken for the field trip to the Botanic Garden of Faculty of Science, Charles University in Prague. The effectiveness of education was measured by means of a knowledge test before the lesson (pre-test) and after it (post-test). Level of knowledge increased in experimental groups and control groups, however, the difference between individual groups was not significant. The aim of the presented master thesis is to prepare, realise and evaluate an efficiency of the alternative method of biology (natural history) teaching at second grade of primary school via excursion into natural areas of the Třebíč region. Four field trips dealing with botanical, zoological, geological and ecological focuses were realised. The theoretical part of the thesis is characterised the Třebíč region focusing on several different natural aspects with an emphasis on an interesting natural sites in this region that are suitable for teaching. Specific teaching methods that are useful for field trips are included in this part of the thesis. The practical part described four field trips including methodical instructions for teachers. Other didactic materials and worksheets are added in the appendices. The empirical part contains questionnaires and didactic tests that are used to monitor specific attitudes of 120 pupils from primary schools to teaching of natural, field trips and worksheets. It is primarily focused on environmental chemical experiments at ecoschools. Since this topic is highly interdisciplinary, thesis interferes with other educational areas and disciplines than in chemistry. The theoretical part deals with the current situation in the field of environmental education. There is a tentative analysis of several contemporary Czech textbooks for primary schools and lower level of grammar schools. The analysis compares the representation of selected environmental topics and the number of experiments that appear in textbooks. In the practical part there are prepared teaching materials to support the experimental teaching chemistry with author solution for teachers. This diploma work deals the possibilities of use of demonstration set in teaching of optics in the physics. It is focused on general use of technical didactical means in teaching and various approachs to experiments in the school physics. Comparison of actually available sets for demonstration experiments is incorporated in this work. It contains also set of selected experiments and worksheets which were used for verification of tasks. Results of the worksheets are analysed and form the part of the work. The aim is to verify the benefit of use of demonstration sets in the physics teaching.

Modern information technologies accompany all of us in our daily life. They not only use to serve to our work and for the entertainment, they even have got a great potential to be used in the education. The submitted thesis deals with the appropriate utilization of the special IT application in the pedagogic process, especially in teaching of maths, the topic of trigonometric functions. The aim of this thesis is to create structures with a high potential of the modern technology handling. To tackle this task the graphical program GeoGebra was chosen due to its qualities for creating dynamic structures and the other advantages presented further in the thesis. To the created constructions the detailed instructions how they can be constructed are added. The thesis is also accompanied by worksheets with solved tasks, focusing on the application of trigonometric functions in real situations.

Diploma thesis is focused on birds in our surroundings. The main aim was to project excursions for pupils of primary schools at the Vrbenské rybníky Nature Reserve and urban parts of České Budějovice. Excursions included worksheets and motivational activities. The conceptual and structural analysis of the subject birds in selected text ? books on natural history for primary schools, own ornithological survey on sites of interest and compare the results with scientific literature. Both excursions, selected worksheet tasks and motivational activities were practically tested. Diploma thesis was solved in the project GA JU 065/2010/S.

This diploma thesis contains two main themes in the education of students in secondary vocational schools. The first topic are equations that form basis of the study in the field of mathematics and their understanding is therefore needed for successful completion of studies. The secondary issue is financial mathematics which gives pupils the basic knowledge in this field and defines key terms. Each successful graduate is therefore familiar with concepts that will meet every day.

This thesis is dedicated to the topic of dysfunctional family in modern literature for children and young people with support of selected books of free time pedagogy. The thesis cisis of theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part speaks about the main terms and links in connection to the topic of thesis: (dys)functional family and its influence to the children of preschool and younger schoolage, educativeaims of free time pedagogy as well as the suitable method sapplicable when working with texts. In theoretial part, I introdukce selected books for children and young people dealing with the topic of dysfunctional family. Practical part is dedicated to the description and analysis offindings from worksheets, including description of own reflexion. Benefit of this thesis is the material implemented in real-life conditions, i.e. set of worksheets which is intended for work of free time teacher with children of preschool and younger schoolage.

I deal with historical encryption procedures and with their application in teaching in my diploma thesis. I present a brief list of some encryption methods in following chapters which were used from antiquity to the mid-20th century. There are prepared specific worksheets for encryption and decryption in this thesis. For several ciphers, the required tools are included in this work, too.
