Houby (Fungi) ve výuce přírodopisu a biologie / Fungi in the Teaching of Natural History and Biology

This diploma thesis deals with mushrooms (Fungi) and their inclusion in the teaching of natural sciences and biology. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with textbooks of natural history and biology in relation to the issue, the characteristics of the mushroom kingdom (Fungi), their structure, systematic division and meaning. The content also includes an analysis of the issue of fungi (Fungi) in the FEP for basic education, in the FEP for grammar schools and in selected school educational programs. The following is an analysis of a textbook of natural history and biology from various publishers focusing on the topic of fungi (Fungi). The work also includes proposals for worksheets and practical exercises that will introduce students to the issue of mushrooms in an interesting way. The thesis contains an interview with eight teachers form practice about how they implement the teaching of this topic in their lessons. In the research part, I present the results of the analysis of science and biology textbooks in the form of text, tables and graphs. I also present the results of interviews with teachers from primary schools and higher grammar schools in the form of text and tables. Inclusion of learning exercises intended to acquisition of schoolwork is desirable in majority of science subjects. This diploma thesis deals with creation of chemistry worksheets for 8th and 9th grade pupils of secondary school and forpupils of corresponding grades of lower grammar schools. Research of contemporary literature mostly chosen workbooks and worksheets available on the Internet isincluded in the thesis. The main part of the thesis was creation of worksheets on diferent themes in chemisty education according to RVP ZV. Created worksheets were verified and evaluated at schools. The thesis brings new possibilities how to deal with teaching some of the chemistry topics using pre-prepared worksheets, which contain mostly exercises for acquiring new schoolwork.

The thesis compares the constructivistic with transmissive geography tuition approach on Hvozdnice region model. The teoretical part defines field work, the didactic learning theories and focuses on closer description and comparison the constructivistic with transmissive pedagogical approach. The practical part brings a complete geographical characteristics of the specified area and subsequently SWOT analysis which provided crucial issues and generalization of the proposed field work worksheets. The proposed worksheets of the work field which deal with exploring of the local region are created in two variants- constructivistic and transmissive. Although there was no change in the thematic focus of the worksheets, there is the obvious difference between realization and achieving the objectives which is based on philosophy of each of the selected models of learning. The aim of dissertation is to elaboration model of komplex school excursion for interactive students work with usage natural places of Czech karst. Next point is creating a set of learning excercises in practical application knowledges from natural branches and for confirm keys competenses of students middle schools. An educational potential of a choosen area was evaulated on the bases of aims mentioned earlier, a model of complex school excursion using conservation area Czech karst was developed and tested The excursion takes place in the village Svatý Jan pod Skalouand it uses set of worksheets. - version for season autumn and spring. An evaluation folloving the excursion is done as a form of a student conference. Particular educational aims were applied during the excursion. Evaluation of the worksheets follows and designs of changes of teaching tasks in the worksheets are proposed. Results of dissertation are processed concept of complex school excursion with methodical material and with set of worhsheets version for season spring, autumn, and winter. The dissertation deals with the development of reading comprehension through reading strategies at elementary school. The theoretical part introduces the basic RWCT methods and other activation methods to use in Czech language and literature lessons. Another topic is the result of the Czech pupils in the international researches PISA and PIRLS. The research part deals with teachers' attitude to the reading strategies, their development and their attitude to using them in the school practice. The practical part is a set of worksheets for pupils that include reading strategies and therefore support the development of reading comprehension.

This diploma thesis is dealing with the theme of use of the Botanic Garden in Teplice to teach Science - especially Botany at Elementary School, 2nd grade. The thesis is divided into three parts. In the first part I'm dealing with mapping of botanic gardens in the Czech republic - mainly focusing on the Botanic Garden in Teplice. In the second part I'm applying my mind to the classification of Botany into the Framework Education Programme and subsequently its covering into the School Education Programme - at the Elementary School Litvinov - Hamr, to be more accurate. One section of the second part contains theoretic information about how to create worksheets and explanation of the teaching method - excursion. I also mention the theory of growing plants in the school parcel. The third part includes my own worksheets. The worksheets were created during the excursion and after it (together with the outcomes). After discussions with different teachers the worksheets with concrete education theme of Botany have been created. Finally there are eight worksheets together with the outcomes. These worksheets were being completed during the excursion and after it since a questionnaire for pupils was made. This master's thesis focuses on popular literature and its place on czech secondary schools with a research on how much this kind of literature is involved in the reading lists for the Maturita exam. Based on examples we will try to give some proposals not only for what literature lessons should look like and which questions should be answered by the students but we will also prepare worksheets for the Maturita exam where selected parts from works of popular literature will be used. As initial sources we will use basic dictionary works, guides for elementary and secondary schools, Trávníček's researches on reading and reading culture and also expert works concerning popular culture and literature for children and adolescents.

Diploma thesis Didactic use of example natural garden Domamil focuses on school demonstration garden of primary school Domamil and its use in teaching. The thesis deals with the general history of school gardens, describes the natural garden and the criteria under which the garden can obtain the certificate of a natural garden. It also mentions occupational safety, operating and visiting rules of the natural garden. The diploma thesis describes the origin and development of the school example natural garden of the Domamil Primary School and characterizes its individual elements and their gradual building by pupils and teachers of the Domamil Primary School. The whole characteristic of the school example natural garden of the Domamil Elementary School is complemented by a photo documentation. The thesis includes a questionnaire survey, which was carried out between teachers and pupils of the second grade of the primary school Domamil. The first part of this thesis is focused on the advantages of using the experiments during the physics education and their educational values. Furthermore, some types of experiments, their correct metodology of implementation and some other aspects which should be given an appropriate attention by the teacher are theoretically described. Then, some types of demonstrational sets and their brief history are described. The attention is aimed at the demonstrational set of DIDAKTIK, its content and composition. One chapter is devoted to the research of schools equipment for using the demonstrational experiments of electricity and magnetism and their evaluations. The last part deals with some experiments which can be made within this set, their documentation and evaluation. Further, there were worksheets created for some of these experiments. Two of these sheets were used among primary schools for didactic exploring and the reasults were evaluated.
