Integrace dat a možnosti automatického zpracování úloh / Data integration and automatic task processing

Meisner, Tomáš January 2009 (has links)
This diploma thesis deals with automatic task processing, especially with automatic processing of forms on web pages. The thesis throws light on the theoretical and practical matter. At the beginning of this thesis are described the reasons, why this topic were chosen. Also there are mentioned the possible uses of application, realized on this principles. Foremost simplification of retrieval of data with standardized (but general) format from common users, which could be used for data mining process. For creating this kind of application is described concepts of its implementation, including description of problematic parts and their possible solution. In this part is mentioned algorithm, which deals with security limitation of current web browsers -- so-called cross-site scripting. One part of this thesis is description of current commercial and non-commercial solutions, which at least partly fulfills the demands of the application. At the conclusion is analyzed functionality of created application and proposed advancements and improvements for creating new versions of application

A Key Management Architecture for Securing Off-Chip Data Transfers on an FPGA

Graf, Jonathan 04 August 2004 (has links)
Data security is becoming ever more important in embedded and portable electronic devices. The sophistication of the analysis techniques used by attackers is amazingly advanced. Digital devices' external interfaces to memory and communications interfaces to other digital devices are vulnerable to malicious probing and examination. A hostile observer might be able to glean important details of a device's design from such an interface analysis. Defensive measures for protecting a device must therefore be even more sophisticated and robust. This thesis presents an architecture that acts as a secure wrapper around an embedded application on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). The architecture includes functional units that serve to authenticate a user over a secure serial interface, create a key with multiple layers of security, and encrypt an external memory interface using that key. In this way, the wrapper protects all of the digital interfaces of the embedded application from external analysis. Cryptographic methods built into the system include an RSA-related secure key exchange, the Secure Hash Algorithm, a certificate storage system, and the Data Encryption Standard algorithm in counter mode. The principles behind the encrypted external memory interface and the secure authentication interface can be adjusted as needed to form a secure wrapper for a wide variety of embedded FPGA applications. / Master of Science

adXtractor – Automated and Adaptive Generation of Wrappers for Information Retrieval

Ademi, Muhamet January 2017 (has links)
The aim of this project is to investigate the feasibility of retrieving unstructured automotive listings from structured web pages on the Internet. The research has two major purposes: (1) to investigate whether it is feasible to pair information extraction algorithms and compute wrappers (2) demonstrate the results of pairing these techniques and evaluate the measurements. We merge two training sets available on the web to construct reference sets which is the basis for the information extraction. The wrappers are computed by using information extraction techniques to identify data properties with a variety of techniques such as fuzzy string matching, regular expressions and document tree analysis. The results demonstrate that it is possible to pair these techniques successfully and retrieve the majority of the listings. Additionally, the findings also suggest that many platforms utilise lazy loading to populate image resources which the algorithm is unable to capture. In conclusion, the study demonstrated that it is possible to use information extraction to compute wrappers dynamically by identifying data properties. Furthermore, the study demonstrates the ability to open non-queryable domain data through a unified service.

Extrakce dat z webu / Web Data Extraction

Novella, Tomáš January 2016 (has links)
Creation of web wrappers (i.e programs that extract data from the web) is a subject of study in the field of web data extraction. Designing a domain-specific language for a web wrapper is a challenging task, because it introduces trade-offs between expressiveness of a wrapper's language and safety. In addition, little attention has been paid to execution of a wrapper in restricted environment. In this thesis, we present a new wrapping language -- Serrano -- that has three goals in mind. (1) Ability to run in restricted environment, such as a browser extension, (2) extensibility, to balance the tradeoffs between expressiveness of a command set and safety, and (3) processing capabilities, to eliminate the need for additional programs to clean the extracted data. Serrano has been successfully deployed in a number of projects and provided encouraging results. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Seleção de atributos para mineração de processos na gestão de incidentes / Attribute selection for process mining on incident management process

Claudio Aparecido Lira do Amaral 20 March 2018 (has links)
The incident management process is the most widely adopted by companies. However, still lacks techniques that can generate precise estimates for the completion time. This work performs a study in a real incident management process, by means of process mining, able to find out the real process model in the form of annotated transition system and propose automated means for selecting attributes that describe it accordingly, in order to generate realistic estimates of the time to conclusion. The resulting strategy of application feature selection techniques - filter and wrapper - is able to provide generation of more accurate annotated transition systems with some degree of generalization. The solution presented in this paper represents an improvement in process mining on the specific context of creation annotated transition system and its use as a statistics generator for the whole modeled process

Metodologia de fusão de vídeos e sons para monitoração de comportamento de insetos / Merging methodology videos and sounds for monitoring insect behavior

Jorge, Lúcio André de Castro 02 September 2011 (has links)
This work presents an innovative video and sound fusion approach by feature subset selection under the space of attributes to optimally identify insects behavior. Harris detector was used for insect movement tracking and an innovative technique of Multifractal-Wavelet was used to analyze the insect sounds. In the case of Multifractal-Wavelet, more than one mother-wavelet was tested, being the Morlet wavelet the best choice of mother-wavelet for insect sounds. The wavelet modulus maxima was proposed to extract multifractal sound attributes to be used in pattern recognition of an insect behavior. The wrapper data mining approach was used to select relevant attributes. It has been found that, in general, wavelet-multifractal based schemes perform better for sound, particularly in terms of minimizing noise distortion influence. The image features only determine the mating and the sound other behaviors. A new triangle representation of multifractal spectrum was proposed as a processing simplification.

Effective Linear-Time Feature Selection

Pradhananga, Nripendra January 2007 (has links)
The classification learning task requires selection of a subset of features to represent patterns to be classified. This is because the performance of the classifier and the cost of classification are sensitive to the choice of the features used to construct the classifier. Exhaustive search is impractical since it searches every possible combination of features. The runtime of heuristic and random searches are better but the problem still persists when dealing with high-dimensional datasets. We investigate a heuristic, forward, wrapper-based approach, called Linear Sequential Selection, which limits the search space at each iteration of the feature selection process. We introduce randomization in the search space. The algorithm is called Randomized Linear Sequential Selection. Our experiments demonstrate that both methods are faster, find smaller subsets and can even increase the classification accuracy. We also explore the idea of ensemble learning. We have proposed two ensemble creation methods, Feature Selection Ensemble and Random Feature Ensemble. Both methods apply a feature selection algorithm to create individual classifiers of the ensemble. Our experiments have shown that both methods work well with high-dimensional data.
