Dalton Matsuo Tavares 03 December 2010 (has links)
The goal of this research is to adapt an industrial integration model based on the XML Interface for Robots and Peripherals (XIRP) communication protocol, such that it could be applied to the reality of Brazilian small and medium enterprises (SMEs). In order to enable this, it is necessary to study the existing industrial environments and the complexity involved in the device integration task. We observed these environments are manufacture centered considering the solutions created in terms of equipments and softwares. This is the example set by manufacturers like ABB, KUKA, Reis Robotics etc. The manufacturer detains the integration solution and the devices, and these can only be integrated in platforms of the same manufacturer. The industrial communication protocol, in this case XIRP, enables the communication among devices and controller systems in a standardized way, allowing devices from one manufacturer to communicate with systems from another. This protocol is based on the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and supplies the specification of the XML schema files, which allows the crea- tion of a device description and the composition of messages to be exchanged among devices. Therefore a communication infrastructure and device integra- tion system was built from the standard. Note that the XIRP standard was created considering processor based devices. As this standard is still in development, and in case of an eventual adaptation to it, it would be impracticable to change an entire production environment by means of equipment exchange. Therefore, this research project presents an infrastructure that consists in an integrator system to gradually adapt to this communication protocol. The proposed integrator system allows the incorporation of XIRP or non-XIRP devices. Considering a device already exchanges messages by means of XIRP compliant messages, its integration and operation would be simpler in a production environment. However, even in this case, the device would still need support to operate in unison with other entities pertaining to the environment. This synergy is included in the specification of the integrator environment, although, it is not part of the intended results for this research. Therefore, the foreseen hypothesis deals with the necessary mechanisms to incorporate non-XIRP devices in a production environment compliant with the XIRP standard, from the device indexing/identification to the automatic generation of the control application and its low level integration, in order to allow its operation.

Vytváření OLAP modelů reportů na základě metadat / OLAP Reports Model Creating Based on Metadata

Franek, Zdenko January 2010 (has links)
An important part of knowledge of report creator is knowledge of database schema and database query language, from which the data for report are extracted. In the reporting services for database systems and Business Intelligence systems initiative arises to separate the position of database specialist from the position of reports maker. One of the solutions offers using metadata interlayer between the database schema and report. This interlayer is called the report model. Its use is not currently supported in the process of reporting, or is only very limited. The aim of this thesis is to suggest the possibility of using the report model in the process of building reports with an emphasis on the OLAP analysis.

Mining XML Integrity Constraints / Mining XML Integrity Constraints

Fajt, Stanislav January 2011 (has links)
The most important integrity constraints in XML are primary keys and foreign keys. In general, keys are essential in understanding both the structure and properties of data. They provide an instrument by which va- lues from a given set of attributes uniquely identify tuples in a database. As a result, keys are important to main database operations. Since XML beco- mes lingua franca for data exchange on the web, it is widely accepted as a model of real world data. Because XML documents in general can appear in any semi-structured form, structural constraints (including keys) are often imposed on the data that are to be modified or processed These constra- ints are formally defined in a schema.Unfortunately, in spite of the obvious advantages, the presence of a schema is not mandatory and many XML do- cuments are not joined with any. Consequently, no integrity constratins are specified in those documents, neither. This thesis is mainly focused on the inference of primary and foreign keys from XML documents. 1

Evoluce a integrace XML formátů / XML Formats Evolution and Integration

Klímek, Jakub January 2013 (has links)
In the past decade XML became a wide-spread information exchange data model. Many XML users have many XML formats described by XML schemas. To ease the management of multiple XML schemas modeling similar reality, the conceptual model for XML was defined. With its definition came various challenges that needed to be further researched. This thesis focuses on two of those challenges. The first challenge is to manage the evolution of the multi-level conceptual model as the modeled reality, XML schemas and applications evolve in time. The second challenge is to allow the majority of users who already use XML schemas in their system without the conceptual model to use their schemas to semi-automatically create one. In addition a step towards integration of the conceptual modeling of XML and semantic web techniques was taken.

XML-based DEVS Modeling and Interpretation / XML-basierte DEVS Modellierung und Interpretation

Meseth, Nicolas 28 November 2011 (has links)
